I had an unexpected mold issue as a result of a washing machine drain that backed up and overflowed. I originally went with these larger franchise companies and they were extremely expensive and misleading. After they finished remediation I had a concern that popped up and wanted to make sure there was no further issue. This is when I found Smith Environmental. I wish I found Daniels business first because he would have saved me a lot of money. I pray that I never have this type of issue again but if I do then I will be calling Daniel. We noticed some mold/mildew odors after closing on a house. Daniel came in to do an inspection and found a couple issues and made recommendations. We fixed the first issue, but Daniel worked with us for 2 years while we worked to get resolution on the second issue. His team did excellent work remediating mold in the crawl space.

Daniel is very professional and knowledgeable. I found a leak in my ceiling, and feared the worst when I found mold behind the drywall. Daniel performed a thorough inspection, and gave me my options. It turns out that most of what I thought was mold was simply discoloration in the wood, and the area was small enough that I can treat it myself. Daniel charged me less than what he quoted me over the phone, and gave me a plan to resolve the issue. I will be recommending him to any family and friends that have mold concerns.
