Very unprofessional. Tried to get a cab for someone that was drunk at a bar and refused service and hung up on me. Ever heard of a smart phone or Uber? No wonder the cab industry is going away

Yellow cab is Awesome 🤩First Clyde is the Best in this business .Excellent customer service from the time I made the first call . I was able to get 2 taxi in 6min. at 4am to get the airport on time . I was on time and my whole family had a wonderful experience. Clyde made my family feel safe and comfortable. He showed a positive attitude and conversation during the ride to the airport .I will continue this service in Charlotte and Not use Uber or Lift services .Clyde thank you so much 😊 It was a joy meeting a wonderful person .

I attempted to use this service. I called the night before and scheduled a 6am pickup for 6. Got a confirmation text. Woke up the next morning and received a “we are here” text at 5:49 am. Went down to the lobby, and they hadn’t showed up. Called to ask for assistance and they said “it would be a while” before someone could help us.Unprofessional and a horrible experience.

I called hours before I needed ride and I understand the area I needed ride from is not in Charlotte but they should have told me that when I booked ride this way I would make other arrangements and not be standing around in cold waiting for a ride they couldnt even bother to to me was never coming

They cancle youre ride without contacting you...the cab drives pull up and then drive off they take you out the way so they can charge you more

Would give zero stars or negative if possible. Called to inquire a taxi to transport from our hotel to the airport. The man who answered was extremely rude to my question of whether there are vehicles capable of transporting the luggage we had - couple of massage tables and a carrier, plus our carry-on luggage. Understanding we have a bit more than a small car can handle, we would hate to have a taxi pull up and not be able to take what we have! So of course we want to check first!Not that big of a deal if they didn’t, hence why we called and wanted to ask first. But apparently was a big enough deal for this man to rudely cut me off and explain “Listen, let ME tell YOU about our business.... we are NOT the right taxi service for you...” at which point, I thanked him and said that’s fine and we understand, could have just simply said no we do not have a vehicle capable to haul what you have.On our next visit to the area, we know to not call this company or even consider them. Would suggest the same to everyone else. The other company we called after this was extremely pleasant and understanding and patient to hear me explain the situation to check and make sure it was possible. Maybe Yellow Cab could take some notes on training.

Havent used this service, a friend attempted to, Ive used Yellow Cab, numerous times over the years, to get to the laundromat, or grocery store. Do not be fooled, this is a copycat company. if the number has mostly 4s its Yellow Cab, not Yellow Taxi. I generally have no problems with them. Have to use a cab to get partially to work for a few months, well see if theyre still good. :)

Do not recommend. No star would be the rating for this company. Just called on Saturday morning 2/15/20 to get rate for a ride on Sunday. Dispatcher hung up on me after I asked about his rate from my home to a particular place. When I tried to call back his voice box was full. To his boss, I’d fire this person.

Horrible. Simply horrible. In the state for 5 day conference. Set up service M-F at 0730. I also called at 0600 to confirm the 0730 pickup. 1st day cab was 20 minutes late. 2nd day he was on time. 3rd day he didn’t show. This is after a 100% tip. I’ve never had worse service.

Several instances of erratic driving and cutting off other drivers.No signals and weaving in and out well over the speed limit.This is why from what i have seen on my 3 day a week drive into Charlotte that i can say I would never use Yellow Cab service.Cab number 607 nearly sideswiped me and i have my 13 yr. Old son In the car who is going for his chemotherapy treatment for cancer.I have pictures of the cab and of the driver who clearly doesnt know how to drive a vehicle.NEVER would use your company!!

Driver of TB-6285 needs to be investigated. 10 minutes ago i was at the Harris Teeter in University Area off of W W.T. HARRIS. i walk out and there is a lady on the phone calling the police about this driver. He was driving around the parking lot being aggressive and cussing at her calling her a b***** and causing a huge scene. AGAIN. DRIVER OF TB-6285. Look out for the license plate people! If this the plate number on your taxi when it arrives, CANCEL THE RIDE.

Garbage Service!! Uber or Lift at the least, will not leave U waiting for a ride with no inclination of what time they will be showing up. Waited 45 minutes for a 5 minute ride...only to find out that I had 15 more minutes to wait after calling back. I give Yall a few more years, & then, unfortunately...I see a whole lot of people looking for new jobs!!

Driver came early. Drove safely and arrived to destination on time. Wish he helped me with all my luggage and more personable and answered my questions. e. Overall good experience for my first time. Will book again. T

When I asked about the vehicle not being identified with the company name, the driver asked if I had a smart phone and to do a Google search of taxis. He then asked to see my phone to show me something and gave the company a five star review. Thats why Im changing this to two stars.

I called and the person who answered did not identify them as being yellow cab. I asked and they said yes - they told me they did not service my area ( guessing the were going off my cell phone area code). When I said it was for charlotte -they told me not to call that number.

#FAILCalled the dispatch office one day prior to arrange a 4:30 AM pickup to the airport. After receiving the confirmation text, I figured we were good to go.But alas, I guess it was too early for the driver.When no one showed up at 4:40 AM, I called the dispatch (twice), no one answered and the answering service did not permit me to leave a message...not that I would have.After 4:45 we decided to drive ourselves to the airport. Its a good thing we had our own transportation. Perhaps if it we needed them later in the day, we would have been okay...Dont think I will be calling this outfit again.

I called the number 4 different times at different times of the day, trying to reserve a taxi for the airport and there was never an answer. It rang and rang to a message that said it was to a voicemail box that had not been set up...im not sure if this is even a real business a side from people reviewing it. You must just have to catch the min the side of the road in order to get a ride.

This is NOT a legally registered cab company in Meck County! My husband used this company months back and the driver showed up in a beat up old car acting really erratic and scary. The person needing to get to the airport didnt feel comfortable getting in the car with him. He only has 5 star reviews because he asks to use his passengers cell phones and then gets on google and rates himself. Him and his shady operation has been reported to CMPD.

I lost my cell phone on a visit to Charlotte. I flagged a yellow 4444444 taxi. I asked driver to Google a local metro pc company and take me there. He did, then took me on a ride that cost $40. Then he told me he would wait to carry me back to my hotel. I said, no thanks. Turns out there were three metro pcs near hotel. Driver was an Indian from India. Never put your trust in another when unfortunate situations are at hands. Curse his worthless ❤ heart.

As soon as I got in the car, the driver asked me to search for them online. I did and he asked to see my phone because he wanted to see the search results. Next then I know, he took my phone from me and gave them a 5 star rating from my account and then acted like it was no big deal and said that is how they get business. This was before the ride even started! If I had time to get out and wait for another cab company I would have.I wasnt going to add that the driver also asked me out as I left the car. But since he has proceeded to text me and make crude comments., I felt it was necessary. Keep in mind I barely said two words to him the whole ride so why he thinks Im going to do some of the things he has texted me is beyond me.

Did not show up. Had a 6:30 am flight and the taxi driver never showed up as I patiently waited outside at 4:45 am. Thank God for Uber because I barely made my flight since Yellow Cab let me down. Had confirmation for my 5 am taxi 3 days before the morning of the flight and they never showed up. Absolutely unacceptable for a professional cab service.

I ordered my son a cab 04/07/18 cab #566 around 5:40am when my son entered the cab he was told to pay the fare before he got the destination when asked if he had cash he told he was using his debit card ok then the driver proceeds to drive and stops again pulls over and demands pay again again my son said when we get there you will be paid remind you he was heading to work and was very late due to this.. the cab driver then tells my son to get out the vehicle.. my son left the vehicle...upon calling to file complaint they explained that drivers do this because of JUMPOUTS but we get cabs sent here frequently and its never happend but i had to call two time because they hung up the first time ...i know its a bad complaint but you gotta take responsibility so after telling them they said they would tell manager ( dont think its true so i came here) and my other cab was on the way now when she arrives she doesnt say ANYTHING about paying the fare before i got to my destination ( he payed when he got there) SO If JUMPOUTS is a reason for this you need to tell your drivers to explain this to a customer bc with no explanation .. id hate to say but it would seem that your being stereotypical towards a Young Black Man just trying to get to work and thats exactly what it was that day and you cant tell me different ( driver was extra nasty ) also your customer service needs improvement DRASTICALLY why hangup on customer to not file the complaint theyll just call back or come on google

The gentlemen was very kind and we spoke the entire ride, unbenows to him I have taken lyfts, taxis all sorts taxi prior...eventhough I am new to this city..the car ride I took normally cost about 20 bucks. Sadly I was charged $47 dollars which wasnt something that was shared with me at the start of the ride nor the call or I would have not taken this taxi. The taxi was clean and he drove safely however I find it extremely offensive to take advantage by taking longer routes to accomplish a bigger pay out. I typically need a taxi twice a day out of the week and cannot imagine paying over $80 dollars and this speaks volumes since I moved from a city of money hungry taxi drivers. I am sad to say this is just unreasonable pricing. If you are like me and cannot afford these prices there are other taxi companies eaquallly clean and well mannaored and are affordable, so research a bit and youll save plenty.

I think they must hire the worst drivers in Charlotte. Their hub is in the same complex I work in. They constantly run people off the road, make illegal moves, and drive erratically. I don’t like to be on the roads near them much less ride with them!

I decided to use Yellow Taxi of Charlotte for a regular, daily ride for my son. At first, it was o.k., but soon they kept forgetting to pick him up, despite the fact that I had scheduled pick-up days earlier. After the fourth time, I finally got the message; they simply do not have drivers that care. They are unreliable and unprofessional.

No wonder the cab industry is dying. Five minutes for someone to pick up the phone. Also, cab 1126 nearly sideswiped myself, dangerously tailing others, and irraticaly changing lanes in an overall dangerous way.

This is NOT *THE* yellow cab with the all 4s phone number. This one does not answer their phone on a Saturday afternoon and into the evening.

I spoke with a guy on the phone for a cab and he wanted me to prepay for a cab saying that because where I am they needed a credit card for the ride when paying with cash so I would had to pay 2 times for one ride I think not and he also threatened me with I am tell Lyft and Uber and all taxi companies so since he said that I want everyone to know dont use this company.

I have been using this cab service for a while and have had bad experience with the African drivers they are rude and have attitudes all the time, they act like they dont like American people here, well if thats the case they can return to their home lands.
