This is the best car detail shop in Charlotte. Point. Blank. Period. I always get compliments on how clean my car is after I get that good old Mays full detail. A friend rode with me after I had just gotten my car detailed and she said my car looked showroom ready. I know that when I go to their shop, I will always leave without a spot on the outside or a single speck of dust or dirt on the inside. Ive had three different guys do my car at some point in time and they all do a great job.

I had my new car detailed at Mays Auto Detailing and couldnt be happier with my decision. I met the owner Jontavius whenI dropped off my car and he was very polite and professional. I dont know the name of the gentleman who cleaned my car, but when I picked it up he made sure I was pleased with the service. Along with the great customer service, they are conveniently located near the uptown area where I work. Ill definitely be taking my car back here whenever she needs to be cleaned up!

Best place in Charlotte, I had a Hellcat that I kept clean and Mays Auto Detailing really took pride in cleaning my car. They do awesome work and you probably cannot find any better place in Charlotte. They did an awesome wax job on my 2017 Hellcat, best I have ever seen. 10/10

After being let down by many detail shops in Charlotte, mainly as a result of no return call, I called Mays and someone answered immediately and was eager to help. I took my truck to them on a Saturday afternoon, they did an excellent job for a very reasonable price in about 3 hours. I will be a return customer and I am going to have them wash and detail my boat as well, I highly recommend their services.

My father owned an auto & body shop for many years in Miami, Florida. So as a result, I spent many years of my childhood and young adult years detailing and washing cars inside and out and utilizing various products. 🙂I normally detail & wax my own car but decided to step outside of the box since I have been on the hunt for a decent car wash detailer in Charlotte for the last 3 months.I went on Google and found this shop. I called and spoke to a very polite gentleman who told me the cost for a basic car wash is $40.00. I went to the location and it is in an older neighborhood here in Charlotte but that adds to the charm of the surrounding area but in all honesty, the buildings in this area including the building of this car wash location needs to be renovated.They did a great job taking there time detailing / washing my car, vacuuming the inside including under the seats, wiping the dash board and cup holders with “water”. The comparison to “Spiffy & Autobell is absolutely no match when is comes to their “customer service” & “taking their time to throughly clean” your car but there is one huge exception both “Spiffy” & “Autobell” utilizes certain products for their detailing for basic car wash”.When I asked the “polite” gentleman if they used: “degreaser” on my tire/ rims, he explained to me that they just use: “soap & water”. They also “shined” my tires with silicone.No other products are utilized for the “basic car wash” such as :”degreaser on tires”, windex, ArmorAll etc. which I am assuming is due to this car wash location needing to ensure that they can be cost effective for the “basic” car was services. I was hoping for a little more in regards to the products they are utilizing on the cars especially for $40.00 per basic wash but I completely understand.Nevertheless, they are certainly doing an exceptional job on customer service, certain car wash places in Charlotte don’t even bother to ask but the “polite” gentleman asked me if I saw anything that had any issues to let him know and I did point out a few things which he corrected. The atmosphere was professional and friendly. Once I arrived home, I lightly detailed My car with my products I normally use.My search will continue but I definitely recommend this location to you my fellow “Googlers”. They are a “step up from Auto bell & “Spiffy” mobile in regards to “taking there time and totally detailing the car” but the development in their “product line needs “major” improvement. Hence, the 3 star rating ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ I will still will be searching for my permanent “detailer”.On a “final note” once your car wash is completed, the gentleman will take your payment for the service through their “PayPal” app which is on his phone. There are no registers at this location. You can have your receipt 🧾 emailed or texted to you with no problems.

First time here, love the atmosphere and the friendly guys!!!!! They did a great job if only I could give them 10 stars and the wait wasnt long. Love to support my people.

Good customer service over the phone, and a decent job detailing my car. Nice tire shine, interior vacuuming and perfuming, engine compartment clean and exterior wash. But the facility itself is very lacking in professionalism/presentability. When I walked in, no lights were on, it was cold as hell, and there was clutter strewn about everywhere (random card tables, a lawn mower in the middle of the room, workout equipment, very unorganized). Maybe Id forgive the cold/darkness if they didnt have electricity for some reason, but one of the employees was literally standing in the middle of the waiting area playing video games on a wall mounted TV. Seriously? In the middle of the work day when customers are present? Then when I check out at the end, guy uses his phone to ring me up rather than an actual register. Is this a legitimate business? Weirded out to the max.

I have never had a better experience than the one I had at Mays Auto Detailing. I recently relocated from Los Angeles where I spent my leisure time surfing at the beach with my dog. After having drove cross country with my life in my car, you can only imagine the work that needed to be done. Between the sand, the dog hair, and the rezido from the move, The crew at Mays spent 4 hours (yes, FOUR) cleaning the ins and outs of my car. When I got in it for the first time, I shedded actual tears. I will never go to another Auto Detailing place again. They stole my heart. (And provided great hospitality while I waited). Incase you didn’t already catch my drift, I HIGHLY recommend Mays Auto Detailing.
