Right off the bat this barbershop sets itself apart by not only enforcing social distancing but also granting patrons the opportunity to wash and disinfect their hands before theyre seated. Although I arrived as a walk-in, my wait time was minimal before I was seated and cut by Phil. Having been in the Marines for the past four years, I have gotten a fade once a week every week at several different barbershops, however, this was EASILY the cleanest. Phil took his time cutting my hair and trimming my beard making sure to give me exactly what I asked for in a way that looked even better than I imagined. I will definitely visit this barbershop again for my next haircut.

Excellent experience. I have natural hair and decided to get a haircut. I didnt have any idea of where to go, so I checked Yelp for closest women barbers in my area. Fade factory was the closest, so I did a walk in and I met Tara and she was very helpful. Tara introduced me to Odell, who did my cut. He asked what my ideas were and if I had pictures. Quickly got work and the end result was everything I wanted. I definitely will be back for any barber needs in the near future

Made an appointment for 9 but the barber I made an appointment with never showed up. Waited until 9:30 and they had me get cut by the guy who was there. He was friendly but it felt like sped through the cut. I prefer a barber who takes their time and uses a straight razor to make to crisp but that was not this experience.

I’m new to the area and found the Fade Factory simply by looking up barber shops near me. I’m so glad that I chose this one because they are excellent! They are very friendly and make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door, I was relieved to find out they asked me to wash my hands upon entering the shop, and due to the pandemic, I was more than willing to do. I got my haircut by Phil and he was great! He did a perfect job of listening to how I wanted my hair cut and gave me exactly what I asked for. The fade and lineup were both crisp and clean. I have already been back a second time and will continue to come here in the future.

Imagine moving to a new city knowing youre gonna need a new barber, the anxiety you feel from leaving your old barber. The master barber Tara got me right on the first time like it was nothing, she was polite and funny and made me feel very comfortable. Great cut and customer service, worth every penny.

Me and my partner went into fade Factory for the first time. (Clearly the owner TARA) wasn’t aware we were new as she was very short when I asked if she was available. Did not have a welcoming feel at all! If you want a good experience come down to BLENDSORIAL where it’s a nicer shop and nicer staff.

I rarely post comments, but this site is a great place to get a haircut. Ive seen each barber cut all ethnicities. The shop is very clean throughout. Youll be greeted with a hello the moment you walk through the doors. Walk-ins are welcomed, but to avoid waiting an appointment is your best option. Tara has been my barber for 2 1/2 years and Ive referred several satisfied customers.

I asked for half the length, not to touch my front tape line, and a fade. The center of my head is brushable, the edges are “half” which gives it a very boxy Blade look, and my temples have been bald-ed down. I have job interview tomorrow. So yay that. When I brought up he cut it wrong. He then proceeds to tell me it’s because the shape of my head. Now, I’ve had this head for many years. 30 to be exact. And never in my life... This is the worst hair I have ever had. And I’ve suffered through some rough military haircuts.

YO, so this was my first time at fade factory... I was directed to Val. Now, my skin reacts differently to clippers sometimes, and stemming from a reaction during my last cut, I hadn’t had a new cut in a couple months. I made Val aware, & she accommodated & made sure to be very careful: she switched up clippers so that they didn’t get too hot & I was comfortable. We spent time conversing about life and other barbershop talk, & every now & then she’d check with me to make sure I was still comfortable. WHEN I TELL YOU, the finished product was LIT. I mean, there’s a saying you feel like a new person when you get that fresh cut. I felt EVERY BIT of that today. There’s something to be said about a barber that makes you feel comfortable & ultimately has you looking CRISP. Val definitely fits that mold. I will definitely be back to see her, and recommend this shop to anyone looking for a new shop!

Ever since my husbands barber moved to Atlanta 2yrs.ago hes been searching for a new barber and barbershop. After reading the reviews I suggested he go and on Saturday 2/3/18 around 3pm he finally found his spot. He enjoyed the experience from the moment he walked through the door. I just relocated to Charlotte from Carlsbad CA and Im very particular about my hair, and who cuts it. And after reading the reviews of a number of barbershops I chose the Fade Factory... I was not disappointed, from the time that I walked in everyone was warm, friendly and professional. When it was my turn in the chair I was directed to Walter Caldwell Master Barber... And it took a little explaining just because I was ready for a little bit of a change, but he got it right. I also appreciated Walters attention to detail and the time he took to get it right, I didnt feel like he was in a rush to get to the next client. I came to Charlotte from Philly for a 12-18 month work assignment. One of my concerns was finding a barber who is good at cutting fades. Philly is known for fades, and it is sometimes hard to find barbers in other states who take meticulous pride in their work. I definitely found that with the Fade Factory. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly greeted by the staff in a clean, and well kept shop. After explaining I was new to Charlotte, we immediately began conversations about where to go for for southern style food and old school entertainment locations. They took to me as if I had been a long-time regular customer. I was almost disappointed the cut was finished. After checking my cut, and finding no flaws, I made my next appointment. I certainly found a home at Fade Factory and will encourage anyone to go there for a great and pleasant hair cutting experience.

Weve only been in Charlotte for a couple months and I finally went to get a haircut. I didnt goto Fade Factory for it and regretted it. After leaving the first place I found Fade Factory on google and called them to see if they had time to fix it. They got me right in, the ladies there were really nice and helpful with telling me what my options were and Phil did an amazing job. Ill be going back to him and taking my kids there next time around for sure.

However, she made some very obvious mistakes that she should have not let me walk out the door with.(Edit in response to Tara): I can assure that I was at this location, connected to the BP gas station. Apologies for the name mix-up; checking my receipt, the name on it was Val Kuts. I just wanted to update my review to point out that I did not post it out of malice. I wanted to express that I did not receive a professional cut at this location. I do not plan to return.

The best barber shop Ive ever been too! The shape ups are crisp, the fades are on point and the service is impeccable. The shop is cleanly and they even airbrush the hair off of you (no other barber shop has done this for me).

Im very picky when it comes to my barbers because everyone cannot cut my my hair good. The shop was very clean and had a comfortable atmosphere. Dr.Phil no longer works here. I waited an hour to get my hair cut. They didnt have any clay to hold down my hair. The guy who cut my hair was very nice though and accommodating to my requests.

Just needed a quick trim so decided to try the Fade Factory because of the great reviews, terrible decision. The barbers name was Odell, the FIRST thing he did was take a pair of sissors to my bangs and attempt to cut my hair in the shape of my front wave. This left stubble-length hair protruding from my forehead (my bangs are over 2 inches). My sideburns were crooked, neckline even worse. Had to drive straight to another shop and pay full price to have someone else fix the hack job. STAY AWAY FROM THE FADE FACTORY

I googled the fade factory and everyone kept saying Tara is the truth Tara is the best and so on. So I gave Tara a shot. She cuts my hair how I ask. You know how some barbers line you up how they think you should be lined up (which I hate). Tara is the opposite. She gives you exactly what you ask for every time!! So go check her out!!!

I was pleased with my sons haircut. It was their 5th bday and I decided last minute to get their hair cut before we left town Fri morning. The fade factory is right near my home. I didnt know any shops open past 5, and they were a life saver. There are women and men there so I felt very comfortable and the barbers made me feel welcome. Definitely taking my twin boys back for their next cuts
