Was lied too about a lot of things. Biggest one was the website. We paid a lot of money for the website to be built and for advertising and saw 0 results. Now they are threatening to take the website down because we do not want to throw away our money anymore for this service even though I was told before starting if I could not afford to pay for their services anymore a few months down the road that the website would not be taken down and all rights would be signed over to me. Horrible company do not recommend!

Made a website for me that looked like a two year old made it, tons of grammar issues. Got absolutely no leads off it, and they charged me near 400 a month and my buddy pays 200 for the same thing. They do not keep in touch after 2 weeks. Absolutely worst company ever this should be robbery . Save your money please dont fall for this bys scam

I used this company for 5 months with very little results. The website was okay but never had them give me 100% of what I asked for or even 60% of what I asked for. I told them I no longer wanted their service and they said okay and then the next month charged my account. I called and call and called and called only to hear the run around. It has been a month and a half and still have not seen my money. They do not provide results and they will take your money after your have discontinued their service. Change the payment you authorize them to use because the bank says it was an authorized purchase. I will never use this company again and if I know someone whom is using it I will recommend them to seek a better company. Biggest waste of $3000 I have ever done.I am not sure which 7-10 days you mean? This is the 5th 7-10 day notice I have been given. The payment was pulled August 15th, I contacted your company on the 17th. I figured this would have been handled by the end of August. Here it is October and still nothing. This is not 1963 where you have to have a check printed and mailed to my address. This is 2021 it is all done digitally, please catch up. A couple of key strokes and 2 computers shake hands and the money is back were it belongs, it takes an hour maybe. Please quit shuffling this around and put the money back. It needs to be done by the end of the day.

I would really like to give them a great review, I just can’t. I developed a great report with the sales person that I was dealing with prior to my signing up for Townsquares service. Then I was handed off to Jenn G. I had been working with another company prior to them, who had built a website for me, that we had worked on for quite awhile. I liked it. Clean, well written, using my photos and the language ( English) was pertinent to the task. The main service that I had thru them was not something that I needed for my business, so I switched. When they first looked at my site nthey said it just needed a few things so it would stand out,, ok!!lets do it!! I said, you guy do this for a living, right? They get paid for it, but shouldn’t. I guess Jenn G must have got her feeling hurt when I said that some of the wording needed to be changed due to the fact that no one speaks like that, for one and half of the statements made sound like you should hire someone to do your work, and we are here to if you might want to look toward us maybe sorta… changed the color of my logo, pictures all out of order, could barely read the phone number the font was so small, my email didn’t work…. I had a list… for 3 months I called finally cancelled them after no return phone call for 3 months … and then they billed me after i canceled them. The concept is good m. But if you get your feathers rustled by someone asking for changes in your work. Don’t do corporate work

They prepare a website quickly but it was not what I wanted and they never made any changes that I requested. My service rep cancelled my appointment which I understand except she did not notify me. Next appointment never called and did not return my calls. Fortunately I did not cancel old company nor did I change to the webpage prepared because it was incorrect. They have been courteous, but I literally did not receive anything for the money I spent

Be beware of this company, they will build your website for you and when you no longer use their services they will keep the content. They will take their time to transfer your domain. My site has been down after I told them to transfer my domain back in my account. Now they are giving me the run around. If you value your hard earned money do not do business with them. The only reason I give them one stars because I couldnt post without a star. As of the time Im posting my site has been down for two days. Please beware!!!!

My experience so far with this company has been terrific and Im shocked at the bad reviews online. They designed a beautiful website for my wifes store with very little direction. The design team from North Carolina has fulfilled every request and hit the nail on the head with the final product. The stores online presence has improved dramatically and were looking forward to a long-term relationship with them. Were planning to sign up for more of their services in the near future.

They pulled another months money and literally we had to call 3-4 times a week to get our money back.... They say if you cancel you get to keep your website. Well..... This company lies. They do the minimum and ask for a lot in return. My competition stayed in the lead as my company name with my services focal points were trailing far behind. I was promised page 1 results and new customers. I was told when I began an agreement with this company that they would give me a refund if they didnt increase my business. They are good at digging for the side jobs that you can do so that they can make excuses to not fulfilling their guarantee. I was lied to and taken advantage. I was just recuperating from covid and hoping for a break. Im a hard worker and honest. I would not take advantage of anyone like how they have done me. Dont use these guys. I feel like we have a whole team that sits around and just thinks of ways to better our business. Our rep is constantly coming up with new ideas for our site so we can stay competitive. Our online presence has drastically improved since weve signed up. We used to pay for several outside lead sources. But since weve been with Townsquare we are busy enough just on internet calls, weve been able to turn those off. So in addition to being amazing at customer service, making you feel like you are their only customer, they are also SAVING me money.

If I could give a ZERO star review I would, this company did everything they could to earn my business. They promised the stars and produced nothing, I reached out to my digital marketing specialist who did absolutely nothing to help. I thought I was investing what little money I had for marketing in a company I thought was going to produce results. I canceled two months ago and I am still being charged. I asked for a refund days ago they promised they would refund my money and I have yet to see it returned to my account. They acted like they wanted to help me grow my business, they havent!!!!! I reached out to the company multiple times with the promise from them that my money would be refunded. We are now a week in and I have yet to receive my money back. No contact from the company to let me know that it had been processed. I would avoid this company at all costs if you want to grow your business dont use Townsquare Interactive. There are many other digital marketing companies that will do the job right and not drag you along.

Contacted them to help build my website and generate leads. Seemed very nice and appeared to be very knowledgeable in mitigation work. In addition to the website they were supposed to handle my Google business page. The website was very inferior and they basically copied what I had made. Contacted them several times to fix things and they just did it half a$$..... they promised they would fix it and even offered me a month free. They never touched the Google business page. They told me it would take time and they gave me a graph of supposed activity stating I recieve 2 calls from the website. I log all my calls and where they come from, nothing was generated from the website. I canceled them and then all of a sudden I get sent to collections for the month they said would be free. Got rid of them and found a company that knows what they are doing. They take your money and brush you off... poor service poor quality. Use caution do your research and find a company that knows what they are doing because Townsquare has no clue!

I agreed to a marketing campaign with this company. I went as far as giving them my payment information and waited for my scheduled call. I never recieved the call, or a reason why. That happened on the follow up call as well.. Completely unprofessional. Let me down twice . They cant deliver. Take your business somewhere thats reputable.

It’s interesting you don’t allow reviews on your page. If you’re a small business don’t waste your money on town square. I was told in an email my billing date was the 17th (my payment also always came out on the 17th) I requested to cancel first thing on the 16th. Of course they tried to talk me down to lower payment. I just wanted to cancel. I woke up on the 17th with a $231 charge from them what shouldn’t of happened because I canceled. After reaching out I was told my billing date was the 16th and I didn’t cancel in time yet in an email I was told it was the 17th. I no longer wanted their services going forward. This charge has been pending all week. Today I wake up to another charge of $297 that’s now $528 being held in pending transactions by them. I am a small business I can’t afford this. My monthly payment is $297 a month. I told them I was going to dispute it with my bank. I can’t dispute it until it’s no longer pending so now like I said I have $528 pending when I only owe them $297 even though I canceled in time because I no longer wanted their services going forward. I’m completely disgusted.

I started with them in October of 2020.They certainly billed me quick enough but never responded to my emails.Maurice, who is located in Maine, would not respond to any of my text, calls or emails. He certainly sent out emails that were most likely preset.I asked them to discontinue service in early January. They kept charging my bank, debit card which I had changed. Townsquare turned around, found their own way to get my checking acct number off my bank card info, kinda sneaky & illegal.Even the bank was puzzled.Well, Townsquare finally calls to see what they can do. NONE!Now I’m left with a website that has been canceled and I can’t access even though I own the domain.One of the worst experiences I’ve ever encountered.

I was told at the beginning that me being satisfied was the main issue I looked at the website when it first came out and it looked generic like it had been just thrown together very poor quality of work! i called back to make changes nothing was done i called back again and still nothing done i had to call the first person I talked to the person who took my credit card information to call the representative who made my website to get anything done. These guys advertise way far away. They promise tons of calls and a high ranking if you advertise with google. Terrible results and fewer calls. Do not use.

At first they were a good company to work with, then that all changed. We were with them for about 2 years. We had about 5 different account mangers and had to start the process all over on getting to know each other and what we wanted our page to be like. Their account department is the main reason we left. Each month for the last 8 month with them they keep calling needing updated payment information, and each time we tell them we have not changed anything and gave them the same payment information. It got old fast. They also never keep the page updated with new photos from projects that were set over. We have changed companies and in the first month got a better service than we ever did i the 2 years with Town Square. When we changed companies we were told to call Town Square and get the domain information, we called 5 times and each time got the run around service that ended no were. They get new companies in there with a decent prices then shaft it to you. We did have a balance with them from the last two month we were with them and not once did we get a invoice to pay them. Last week we get the nasty letter from some joe blow lawyer, we did look them up form the address listed and found nothing, but demanded we pay or further action and damage to your credit would happen on behalf of Town Square. What a waste of time and unprofessional company.

We kept seeing the Townsquare name around but we were hesitant to try something new because we’ve used quite a few junk companies that ripped us off. Fortunately we took the chance and it’s paid off. They are the first people/company that actually took the time to explain how it works!

I think that TSI has strong points and weak points. One my web site was ok, however they could not and did not produce the reach I was paying for .I will say the staff is super nice, but again they did not produce really at all . I gave them over a year of business and during the pandemic time I figured with hurting businesses, I would not get the traffic . After things opened up fully about 6 months now, still nothing . I spoke with CS many times super nice people . Still no traffic on my site, no calls, no organic reach worth talking about . I have switched and in less than 2 weeks I have received the reach I should have had over a year ago . They do everything good except for getting your name on the top of the search engines . Not worth even the smallest fee . Sorry TSI your fired .

Literally out $300 and they delivered nothing. Missed con calls and left me hanging. Tried to hand off a junk website they quickly threw together which I rejected. They have ultra poor SEO capabilities and skill sets. I havent heard a single word from them in almost 30 days, and demand a refund.

I was with townsquare for a year and couldnt be more displeased with the service. The hardest they worked was selling me on their service. Once a commitment was made and monthly payments hitting my credit card my account was on auto pilot with very little being done. I received many calls from townsquare during my time just jamming more product down my throat when the original work I hired them for was hardly performing as it was. Buyer beware! I wouldnt recommend them to an enemy.

This is a scam company!!!!!!!!!!! They get you to sign up. Then they inform you the only way they can work on your site is if its switched to their servers! What a lie! Anyone can work on your site with the correct login credentials! They want to switch it over so they will have complete control of your site! They then force you to pay for them doing no work at all or they will disconnect your site completely and ruin your company/life! Hopefully, they want scam to wrong person someday! Rather than rant or use hyperbole of Beware I will just give you the facts and you decide if this company is right for you.Pros: Provided social media marketing and provided timely google analytics. Updated my website.Cons: Paid a deposit for a new website for a second business. One delay after another and never received a website. Since over 60 days had gone by, I couldnt dispute the charge with my credit card company. The monthly service to support my first business was about $500 a month and since I didnt get much return in new customers along with the no where to be seen second website, I cancelled my service. Daniel Teno provided me with the link to GoDaddy to reestablish my website but there were no files there. My son-in-law who is a IT professional, emailed him, phoned etc for the files as well as my calling for the files. Daniel said he would help but now its been three weeks and my website is nowhere to be found. I contacted the company who originally developed my site and for a small fee she will recapture my website and get it up and running. Sent emails to the corporation, tried calling. Couldnt leave a voice mail as their voicemail was full. No reply to the company email and no refund for the 2nd website fee. Not very professional, but I blame myself for not researching this company more carefully. Lesson learned. I am reminded every time a customer calls to tell us our website is down.

They delivered what they said they would, even faster than they said it would happen. I had paid for Seo and such from another company, and couldn’t even find my name in searches after scrolling through 100 or so listings. I paid town square, they revamped my website and I haven’t even had my initial phone meeting with my account manager and already top 25 in local listings and first organic call from a visitor to the new site. We received monthly updates & she was always open to our issues & ideas when they came up. Apparently she is moving on within Town Square but thats not a surprise, & we look forward to the introductory call with our new representative.

Omg the first day of launch I had a response and a donation. Everyone I have talked to has been very professional and helpful. Best expearence I have had. They do not have to apologize for anything, what seems normal seance vivid 19. Do your job, correctly and in a timely manner and you do not have to make excuses for a poor performance. Would recommend to anyone!

My marketing campaign is cared for flawlessly by Jenn and Kevin. Jenn reaches out monthly to ensure that my campaign is working for me. She provides monthly updates and recommendations. Jenn even looks out for me when I am not looking at our website. I am so happy I found Townsquare and Jenn Gareis.

Townsquare refused to send email confirming refund or refund the 369.00 dollars after Dylan said he would.Reason for refund was Dylan fabricated what the services would benefit me and the time it would take.This Dylan guy really is a character you dont want to have dealings with.Unprofessional at the highest level and tells so many lies he probably was just raised that way.

I am a handyman and small contractor. Small business and sole proprietors I do not recommend this service. The details from the sales team are key about what they provide, what the guarantee really is, response time to website changes and how you will see results. The salesperson promised to get me to the front page of Google via SEO within 90 days or I would get a full refund. They promised a great website. The result was the website was ok, not great, and the changes I asked for were slow to be made. Further, they did succeed in getting one austere search string to the first page within 90 days but not the main one my business is based on. The key for me was all this effort and money resulted in not one call that converted to a job, and therefore me questioning myself of how long should I pay a marketing company to do this when I am seeing no ROI. I chose to just bail out after 90 days and throw $1,200 down the drain before more was invested.

Townsquare Interactive has been a wonderful group to work with! Not only did they provide superior customer service but their efforts to improve my SEO standings were visibly successful in a surprisingly short timeframe. They designed a beautiful webpage with cutting edge interactivity for my small business. Whenever I needed a change or help, they were immediately responsive and on top of the situation. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I have been with Townsquare for well over a year now and have decided to go a different direction with my online presence. Obviously this is because Im not receiving the results I expected. I cancelled my service the day prior to my billing date for the next month. Card was charged which I have since disputed. Was left a bland voicemail from my TSI guy not about why we are leaving them but why the card was charged. His excuse was that I had to cancel the day before the billing cycle not the day of. Well, as we all know, I did cancel the day before because I have the email dated to prove it. His excuse was also that he was off that day and didnt get my email which isnt my problem. Among this issue, the website is extremely bland, stock photos being used with other companies competing with me IN MY MARKET. In conclusion, they act like they care a lot on the phone, but they dont really do anything other than what we cant see, I suppose. However, when Im paying $697/month, ZERO clicks to calls going through our website is not acceptable. I requested a couple very easy changes to my website (like adjusting the language of our service area) about a month ago and that still hasnt been done. I gave them a LOT more time than I should have which is what they ask for when you sign up: Give us time. It takes time. If they send me my login info to my website Ill adjust part of this review and give them more stars.

Very happy with the service provided. We would like to applaud Jon Caviness who has been very helpful in getting posts up to our website in a rapid fashion - for example, a contest we announced yesterday, was up this morning!

When they wanted my interior painting service to join them, they blew up my phone. I decided not to go With them because they lied about what service area I would service. I have been waiting 2 weeks for my money back and they haven’t sent it yet. I have called and left messages but no return call. Now they are saying they sent it. My bank says otherwise. These people are unprofessional and dishonest..I now have to report these people to the better business bureau just to get $597 back.Another week has passed since I wrote this and still no refund. I suggest to anyone who uses this company to be very cautious. I guess I will wait another week. 😡

I want a refund. I asked that my account be canceled and im still being charged for a month that i was told they will do upgrades. I asked for pictures on my site to be put back up to my liking and yet and still the wrong pictures was replaced. The services are rushed and unsatisfying. Its no reason to run out business card 2x a day for 2 months when the service is month to month and i havent gotten any results in 2 months. I am demanding a refund asap.

This was the first web design company we have worked with and will definitely not be going back. Website was never updated with the changes that were requested. IF they were, it was in poor taste. The one thing that annoyed us was their unprofessionalism when it comes to processing and collecting payment. We had our CCs compromised so instead of calling for our new payment info, they sent us some threatening letter from an attorneys office that barely looks legitimate.
