2021 Charlotte Fashion Week was AMAZING! From the designers, models, the stylists, and all the staff, everything was top notch. I look forward to working with Rita Miles again in the future.

The middle aged lady who runs this s-show was very rude to my niece and we paid for those tickets to see her walk the runway. Models are people, and you treat them right - especially since you dont pay them to make your show happen.

Your Show need to have more mature models its not all about being young, Women come in all shapes sizes and are beautiful.

1st I want to start by thanking Ms. Rita Miles!! She gave me a opportunity of a life time 8 years ago, so professional!! She helped me and didn’t even know me, or what I had to bring, but she stuck her neck out and added me to a show 8 years ago that changed my life as a Entrepreneur. She asked me 8 years ago at the age of 21, “do you have business cards” I responded no ma’am. Very humble she told me to don’t come back until I have them, she said how can you have a business with out business cards. I ran to Office Depot, came back and showed her I had business cards. All she wanted to see if I was ready, and that changed my life, made me more professional, made me take my business more serious. Every event they had that year she invited me to come and connect with soooo many different entrepreneurs and people in high places, put me in the Susan G Komen fashion show, had a chance to vendor in 4 different fashion shows!!! I still have the picture when we first met, nothing but love!! Still have my first contract for my 1st show ever, even got mentioned in a magazine that sits in South Park mall. And we not threw yet!! Thank you Rita Mills!! Truly appreciate you, and the opportunities!! ♥️♥️

So excited to get to work with Rita Miles this year and the Charlotte Seen. My youngest will be walking in the June 1st show and we couldnt be more excited! Lots of our friends have walked in the shows, but this is will be the first year weve been available to audition So blessed to be accepted and have this opportunity. Charlotte Seen is so amazing! I love all of the people that are involved into making this company so successful. They really put their whole heart into everything they do to make sure each event they do either meets or exceeds the expectations of everyone. Their organization is great- they know how important it is to be structured and they do their best to keep everything set as they had planned. They communicate to the models and to the models parents to keep everyone in the loop of each event, and respond quickly to any questions we may have. They are very professional and will do what they can to help each model grow and become the best they can be.

I have been attending Charlotte Seen Shows for several years. After each show I tell Rita and Rob that it’s impossible to Top that show. And each time they do!!! They have welcomed me graciously to the Seen Team and I’ve been blogging about their fabulous shows. So much talent comes from CS. Designers, models, actors and several pageant winners! We have been part of CharlotteSeen family for the last 2 years and it has been a lot of fun. We met many wonderful people that we are proud to call friends including Rita and Rob.

I have 4 children, both boys and girls, that participate in Charlotte Seen events ranging from 5-18 years old. They have all enjoyed the events and will continue to participate. All of the venues have been very nice, elegant and well oranized.We have noticed an increase in our childrens self-esteem and self-confidence as a result of the runway experience. With this day and age of body shaming and cyber bullying, our children are encouraged through modeling to be themselves and not worry about what others think. I believe it is a real key to raising happy, healthy and creative children.Thank you Charlotte Seen for all that you have done for our family.

Hello I personally as a freelance photographer invited 3 models to be a part of Charlotte’s Seen and Fashion Week and the feedback I received from their personal experience was very positive.They were thrilled for having had chance to meet and greet Rita Miles and staff and in many ways I think it was certainlylife changing to motivate them to feel good about themselves and overcome peer pressures.I as a Freelance Photographer enjoyed working with the very orderly and professional staff at Charlotte Seen and was able to build relationships with models and families for future business.I am so excited about this amazing platform they offered models to pursue their dreams and travel and gain lots of exposure in the fashion and modeling industry.

I have attended and shot video for several years at CharlotteSeen events & Charlotte Fashion Week. The shows have been terrific! Its a wonderful opportunity for local models to get experience and for boutiques and designers to showcase their creations! The people I have met are passionate about the fashion industry and are very creative and artistic in all they do! It is a tremendous event to arrange and produce. Rita has done a masterful job of creating many, many events. The city of Charlotte is a wonderful location for fashion and digital media and benefits from supporting the fashion industry. Ritas shows have become extremely popular and have grown out of all reasonable priced venues that can be used for producing this type of show. This past fall, the location was moved to a larger facility to help meet the participation demand. Due to hurricane storm damage, the air conditioning facility was not operating and the shows were uncomfortable for almost everyone--but...in showbiz The Show Must Go On--and it did. Charlotte needs to support the fashion industry. It would help if everyone supported these events and IF a corporate sponsor(s) could partner up with Fashion promoters like Rita to benefit the entire industry. I live in Charleston. Our Fantastic, Wonderful, Extraordinary Fashion Show has been almost completely dropped this year. It will be nothing like the huge events of the past. So everyone, come together for the greater good of Fashion & Modeling and support Rita and other Fashion Industry promoters. Be part of the solution! Don Porter was an excellent photographer that I had the pleasure of meeting. Charlotte Fashion Week and the after party at Chima was a success. I am a Couture fine jewelry designer Nicole Rorie owner of Vasiliki Gems. All the designers in Charlotte are really fashion forward and fabulous. I had the pleasure of meeting a young lady named Emma Kamanda who is a cool designer using unique materials. Another designer that I was impressed by her unique design was Maira Maia. Charlotte has got a seen for fashion and art.

Hi Rita! We wanted to take a moment to thank you. My daughter (from Tennessee) came to Charlotte in June to audition for CFW and was excited to be chosen for 2 events. At the last minute, 1 spot opened up for NYFW. We submitted interest at 10:30 p.m., you forwarded it to the designer & they contacted us by 11:00 p.m. Within 30 minutes, she was now walking for both Charlotte Fashion Week & New York Fashion Week! She’s done lots of runway, photo shoots, etc…but we were blown away by CFW & NYFW, both shows were dynamic. The opportunities and people she’s met thru Charlotte Seen have been amazing, the experiences priceless, and for that we are grateful. She will absolutely be back to audition for any/all opportunities as they become available.

If I could give zero stars I would. Horribly run show for Charlotte fashion week. Those running the show had horrible communication skills and did not know how to properly run a show or maintain crowd control. The music and sound booth were not working properly. On the flier advertising the show, doors were to open at 6:30, show at 7. Doors opened at almost 8:30, show didn’t start til much later. Also, is it too much to ask to move an event somewhere else with AC? Also found out they told models they would be paid then decided last minute they were not going to. Horrible people, horrible scammers.

Absolutely the least professional Ive ever seen in my life. The organizer, Rita Miles is awful to people behind the scenes, and that is finally coming to light. I think Tinas letter about her daughters harrowing experience with this organization says enough.

After reading about the incident with the down syndrome model, I am very disappointed that this event and the people in charge would even put themselves in the position to receive the criticism they have gotten. If the account of what happened is even partially true, I hope the organization will grow and learn from their mistakes going forward to provide an inclusive and safe space for all of its models.
