I’ve known Capt Richard for 40 years now and he is a first class fisherman and charter captain. A bunch of friends and I went out on 6/1 and had a super day!! Lots of stripers and fluke. Went out with my two nephews brothers and father first time fishing in a charter and I was the best day that I have had. Everything about the trip was perfect everything from the equipment to the captain. Felt like we knew him for years very outgoing. If you book a trip with the drifter you will not be disappointed. Can’t wait to go again.

Took my 12 year old son and his friend out with the guys as a birthday present and man Capt Richard did not disappoint. He knew right where to go and how to put the fish on the line. I have been going on The Drifter with my father since I was 5 years old (about 20 years now). Every time we are out there Rich is always so determined to find us the best of the best! He knows his fish and he knows the ocean like the back of his hand. He not only guides us on how to catch the best, but always makes sure we have a great time! The experience is truly like nothing else out there.

Yet again, another amazing trip. This time we went for tataug after our first trip earlier in the season for stripers. Rich is a great captain with tons of knowledge and is more than willing to help out in any way possible. We are experienced fishermen on the local waters but decided to take a charter trip for a nice change of pace and what a great time we had. Have made several trips over the last 3 years, Capt Richard is a fisherman. Always get our limits and have caught some huge stripers, highly recommend.

Took a charter with Richard today and would highly recommend him to anyone. He is friendly, extremely knowledgable, and has a beautiful seaworthy vessel. Our group was all seasoned anglers and he put us right on the striped bass off Block Island. We had our limit quite quickly and switched over to bottom fishing getting fluke, seabass, and scup. All in all a great day on the water with a truely great Captain. Will be going with Richard again in the future and I hope you will too!
