They restored my headlights and had me shining like new!

I have used this particular car wash three times. The first time I was charged close to $50 which was odd because it was not the price listed on the signs. I returned today and was told the same thing (full wash, interior). I think inquired but what about the prices on the same. I was told oh you can get those too. I was annoyed because the almost $50 wash did not last any longer than a regular wash for me. This time I paid the $26. Well, I understand every manager wants to milk as much money as they can. No problem with that. However, my back windshield wiper was taped down. I had the wipers off but it was taped down so it would not move during the wash. But, no one took the tape off when drying the car and detailing the inside. So, sadly when I was coming home from Mt. Pleasant one night, I used the back wiper to remove fog, and I heard a large boom and snap. I then realized the wiper and the blade mechanism where it attached fell off. The tape had not been removed but someone actually taped where the windshield wiper actually attaches at not at the tip. The entire thing snapped in half off. A $26 okay wash turned into me losing a $50 plus dollar wiper for my Porsche and now me having to get the mechanism fully replaced which wont be cheap. I wont recommend going back to this place. I have lived in many states and utilized all types of car washes but this is the slowest and the worst. The hand wash option there is better but takes forever but maybe I would not be out of a windshield wiper and attachment. Try a different Cactus wash if you can.

I was close to close but they made sure to let me in knowing that I had been waiting on traffic to make the turn. The wash itself is a machine other than the basic pre spray. And then you pull up to the area where your car is dried and vacuumed. I have used this location before and I had a detail clean. This time I went with the 24.00 clean. There is an outside sitting area and an inside with free water, a couple of vending machines one with snacks and one with food. There is a couch and around 4 chairs. They did go with a southwestern theme on the inside witch goes with the name. How did they do? Well the inside of my car was detailed about three months ago however it did definitely need a cleaning. I was not impressed... I’m not sure what the standard is here but they did not wild me however I will probably try here one more time. I’m going to add photos of the overall cleanly Ness and the water that was all left on the outside of the car. For 125$ deluxe indoor detail and wash this place is a joke. They maybe used a rag inside, outside of car is covered in dirt still apparent on my hands when I run them along my car. Inside carpeting between center console and seats is still dirty and not vacuumed. The mats were quickly washed with water and not even scrubbed clean with a solution and thrown in my trunk. I witnessed this because after four hours I was watching their every move pointing outside all these areas to fix. Top of cat dirty. Windows with films al over them. Haley solutions over crevices. I literally bought armor all wipes on Amazon upon leaving and will have to detail my own car in two days. After requesting a manager he told me I should have bought the 180$ package instead. Will NEVER return.

The outside looked great. The inside passenger side except for the carpet looked like it wasnt even touched. The inside of the doors werent even touched. And why was my key fob halfway under my seat like it was thrown there. The lady definitely deserve the large tip I left.

I had a very good experience the first time i went there for car wash. They did very good job and i paid around $49 plus tips. So this time I decided to go back and give my car a treat. I paid $94.95 for service of super clean jbh, 1 add on exp seats,1 hand wash. After waiting for 2hrs im excited to got my car back. Surprisingly, everything look the same, not even talking about the some swept look like he just go over real quick. I dont mind paying for good service, but this time Cactus car wash really disappointed me :(.i know most of the employees there work hard, but the one took care my car today didnt do his job well. So i recommended anyone shoudnt get the $94.95 car wash here.im very sad :(

The only reason Im giving 2 stars is because there was a supervisor and one employee that went out of their way to assist me after the gentlemen I paid to clean the vehicle left it looking in the manner the pictures describe. At 1 point I was cleaning my vehicle alongside the supervisor and the other gentlemen who cared enough to come and assist me. You get exactly what you pay for but that should not be the case. I will spend more money to go to another cactus location next time. however, hats off to the 2 gentlemen that understand the concept of customer service and respect the patrons dollar.

I got the Managers Special today with super clean interior. Well when I got back an hour later, the exterior was not very clean. Granted that my car has been under an oak tree for 2 months while I recuperated from surgery and had leaves in all the crevices. The front guy said that they would get all of that and it would not be a problem. The exit guy did get the the back window cleaned, but the top of the car, the side mirrors, and other areas were still with grime and leaves. I was disappointed as I had heard good things by many people about their services.

While previous visits were pleasant and efficient, this one was horrible. It took one hour and eight minutes before anyone came to clean my car. The job was poor at best. I needed another car wash when I drove off their property.

Long line on Sunday morning/ early afternoon, but the staff worked hard to make sure every car moved through at a reasonable pace. Interior detailing was especially done well!

We sat waiting for over an hour for them to wash our car. We had to go hunt someone down and bring it to their attention 2 hours in and they finally start detailing the car. Were never coming back to this one.

The guys do an amazing job.

The prices are very fare and the employees are very respectful and they do a very good job cleaning cars .. They go the little extra sometimes just to look out .. I will be taking my car back there every two week to get cleaned and wash .. You guys did a great job with my car 🚗

It took for ever +50 minutes, after they called me, I tough it was a joke... pictures taken after detail wash. They need to have a supervisor inspect the car before the customers have a difficult conversation about how the car is still dirty. Will not be back :(

The entrance and how to clean your car are a little unclear. And the can be very rough, not the best for old cars (1970 Buick Electra) the lettering came off.

The folks at the car wash did an excellent job and were very friendly.

I take my truck & my wifes car to Cactus often. My cars come out very clean & the gentleman make sure to clean the interior & shine the tiers like no other place Ive been.

Extremely disappointed in the detailing I received for the amount I paid. To top it off my floor mats were thrown still wet into my trunk instead of being put back.

I ask for complete intorior detailing and I pay for super deluxe wash and details. They did the work like never I seen any mess in my car before. Picture will speak. The guy I ask for check, he give me my money back. But didnt ask for car cleaned. So I get the dirty car after all day waiting.they work on the car 1 hour. And lied to me for 4 hours. I was there they didnt realize. I would say dont go there for car wash, specially for details works. Hell service.

They did a great job! They care about what they do and therefore do it well. I asked for suggestions on what to do to get my car cleaned as it had some sand in the seats and carpets and they suggested a carpet shampooing and of course I did a car wash as well. They did a great job. Got all the sand out, mats were cleaned and vents. They also wipe down the inside of the doors and I like this as it helps me stay clean and my car looks nice. Going there is like getting your car completely c detailed at the price of a typical car washes wash and clean. Best job I have ever seen.

The wash seemed to do well except for my rims. I appreciated the hand wipe at the end.

I am writing this review a couple months after I got a full service wash. Everything seemed fine and I saw the men were busy and hardworking that day. I was satisfied with how clean my car looked. Full service is suppose to be interior as well and noticed they missed a couple sections like my cup holders but it was fine. My biggest complaint was I noticed that there was a thick layer of residue from what they used to clean my window. When it was very sunny outside it was hard to see clearly while driving because my window looked blurry. I tried using my window washer fluid but that did not take it away completely. I have tried cleaning my window by hand which seems to work and it is a lot easier to see now then it was after I got my car cleaned. Not sure what they wipe the windows or cars with but my cars body also felt like wax after my car dried from the wash. I was expecting car to feel more smooth on the surface so I did not like that my car felt a little sticky afterwards.

Unfortunately, this location does not meet expectations. Every time I take my car here to get washed, there is always something that gets missed.I routinely get the Supreme Wash that includes the Full Service Wash and adds additional services. The price continues to go up and is now $25.95. If I don’t remember to remind them every time I go, the inside windows NEVER get done. ....and when I do remind them, they are never clean. The rims always have spots that aren’t clean because they are in such a hurry to get you in and out. The dash, doors, and console are not even wiped off.I did purchase the Super Detail one time and was happy with the results; however, that costs $129.95. I would recommend finding a different place if you want a clean car at a good price.

This place is literally the chick fil a service of a car wash and detail. Extremely satisfied with the way I was greeted. The nice gentlemen who helped me navigate my detailing option was so friendly. Poor thing was wearing a long sleeve shirt in this heat. This will be the only place I ever get my car detailed. :)

I usually go to Cactus car washes. This was my first time at thus location. Kissy and Alex were awesome. Everything was very detail oriented. Friendly service. 10/10. The ATM wasnt working inside to withdrawal cash to tip!

I have been coming to Cactus Car Wash for 7 years and had my brand new truck cleaned here at the Hwy. 61 location Super Bowl Sunday. During the wash it damaged my front wheel panel and damaged the paint. I brought the truck back and they tried buffing it out and that didn’t work so I took the truck to Fender Mender and they tried as well. In the end the mark didn’t come out so I went to Hendrix Chevy and got a quote for $1,200 for the repair as they also found a small dent. I presented that to Cactus and didn’t hear back fro almost two weeks. I stopped by today and was told that they wouldn’t take care of the repair based on the cameras where you couldn’t tell because of the reflection. I have been coming here for years and hate that I need to find a new facility after this disturbing outcome.

Even though this place is always packed, they move you in & out asap. The $5.95 Carwash is basic but what I usually get done.

Good detailing package, didnt take very long either.

I was told it would take 35 minutes for my $40 dollar car wash when I checked in on my lunch break. After 1.5 hours, i was handed my keys, no apology. No air freshener used inside, which I paid for. They left a can of their product in my car. The outside and the dash look great, but in 1.5 hours, and not spending 40 bucks, I could have made it look just as good myself.

Best place to get a car washed. Friendly staff and really great service. They take care of my vehicle like their own.

Antoine buffed scratches out of our truck and made it look new. He was very courteous and helpful. We thought we were going to have to have the truck painted to repair the damage but Cactus hooked us UP! Everyone, from the first employee to the last, had a great attitude. It is so affordable and the service is always great!

I take both my cars there and service continues to go down hill. Today, my windows were sprayed with glass cleaner and never wiped. When they wipe them they are streaked and hard to see out of in the sun. I will be going to Mount Pleasant which is 20 miles from my house. When I go there, my car is spotless.

I normally use Cactus location at corner of Rivers and Ashley Phosphate and I’m very satisfied with their work. Tried this location for a wash, detail and wax. Car looked good but inside still very dirty. Vacuumed carpet but must have wiped inside windows with dirty rags. They were worse then when I came in. Dashboard was half wiped down. Will not use this location again for this service, only good for wash and go. Had same service 2yrs ago at normal location I use and got a very clean car back. The kicker is they called to say car was ready and I got there an hour later and found my car parked up front running, unlocked and unattended. Walked right up no one questioned me and got in and drove off which anyone could have done. Need to secure keys and get owner to show receipt to get keys to car.James I.

We always go here Chris at the front end is always attentive to us . My wife Nancy always gives the worker ice cold bottles of water. Steve at the front end always makes sure all the bugs are off and car is safe to enter. Great staff all around! !!

Great car wash for the price. $20 got us a full exterior and interior cleaning. Only downside is they are busy busy busy and about a 15 to 20 minute wait in line, but good for them. A good business deserves to be busy. Will definitely take our cars here in the future.

The BEST detail Ive ever gotten. Bar. None. Trustworthy as well - left over $100 in my center console & it was all there. Restaurants within a 5 minute walk if you need. Great work yall! THANKS!

Sitting in a very long line, cars backed up into the street. I just witnessed one of the most racist things I have ever seen. Lady pulls in, squeezes in front of people sitting quietly in the line, screams for “Robert, with the green hat on,” a worker in the line. Robert comes over, the lady starts screaming “I was here before her,” and Robert stops the line of honest people waiting their turn and makes them let the lady in. Absolutely infuriating! It’s only a mediocre car wash at best. Not many options in West Ashley. The only reason I am here. But to say the least, sickening! And people wonder why there is so much anger towards them. Don’t bring it on yourselves!

Really great job on the interior but left a lot of spots on the outside, could use a little more effort on towel drying the whole car. Other than that, really great work!

This place is the best! I got the basic and my car looked like it was completely detailed. Better than any car wash!

Excellent customer service

Biggest waste of money. paid for the express wax $40 and I left a $10 tip (wish I hadnt wasted that) the wax was so express they didnt even do it. It was in the detail shop for about 50 minutes it came out with marks on the car, the inside wasnt dusted at all, doors had not been wiped down. I have marks all over my car, I corrected what I could see when they parked me in the shade. After getting home I called back and left a voicemail have not heard back from a manager yet. Do not recommend this location.

My car was pretty clean (albeit not as clean as the premium package i paid for was advertised) but the biggest problem was that i wish someone would have been there to talk to upon leaving. I was just given my keys and the attendant walked away. If something had been a concern, i would have had to interrupt other people’s services to talk to someone. A manager should be around/visible & checking with customers as they leave. Also i would stick with the standard wash & vacuum, paying for the upgraded cleans is frankly a ripoff

The worst car wash ever! I paid $40 for a wax that stayed on for weeks! You could actually see the wax! The manager Will is racist and disrespectful! I don’t recommend African Americans to support or patronize this business at all! Take your money some place else! Let’s show them that our money matters and our business! I have never felt so cheated. I paid for a supreme wash and still have a dirty truck. The manager told me that I would have to buy a full detail if I wanted the dirt off my rocker panels and fenders. He also said that it is Cactus policy that they dont clean the exterior unless it a full detail. So if it dont clean it in the wash tunnel they will not clean or wipe it. My widows are dirtier than when I got there due to the dirty rags they used. It will take me hours to cleanup after them. UPDATE- I spoke with the owner, he is very concerned about his business and I will give him another chance. He responded very quickly and sincerely to my complaints

The first time I came, the inside of my car was decent. I paid $40 for an interior and exterior clean. There were some flaws inside, meaning some stuff didn’t get wiped down and my windows were still dirty. But I still came back to give it a second chance, paid for the exact same thing, and this time when I got my car, absolutely nothing was done. Everything was wiped down with armoral shield, I had asked for that not to happen, none of my seats were vacuumed. There was dog hair and dirt still all over my seats. The very back of my car was not touched at all. Huge mistake coming here

My first experience here was not good at all, but I thought maybe the detailers were having a bad day. Nope!! I left a water ring on my dash as a test, along with other small tests. They missed everything I left as a test. Just like last time, the vacuuming was hit and miss, mostly miss!! They clean the cup holders and then just dust the rest. I would rather drive out of my way to another place that is not cactus car wash. I think they think that a “majority” of people won’t notice their hit and miss work. I’m pretty sure they know who will notice a good job and who won’t!!

Just save the stress and take your business elsewhere. After buying the next to highest package, they didn’t even touch the front bumper on my car and they used a dirty towel that left debris all over the inside of my dashboard. Appalling. When I called, the manager offered to re-wash it for free, but it always takes them more than a half hour to do a subpar job. Why would I want to go back and wait that long again for the low quality job they do? I asked for a refund and he completely ignored that request. Just find another car wash and don’t go to this one. It’s a waste of money and a huge waste of time.

I read the other reviews, was hesitant to go, but did not feel like driving further to other locations, at a little bit lower price and less work to be done. I have neglected the interior of my car for a while now, and just wanted it cleaned. I went with the full detail package, so they would shampoo seats and flooring. I arrived, Met Eric, (Sales) and standing out in 34 degree weather, he could not BE more friendlier, or more courteous than he was. My car was taken into the wash, and just the exterior, upon departure was impressive. Will ( General Manager) started the vacuuming process, drying the vehicle and spent considerable time on the interior, with Quashawn and Anthony Assisting him. Anthony then took my vehicle off to be detailed on the interior. While waiting for the car, Will ( GM) continuously kept me updated on the work, and the timing, When I received my car, I was speechless. I was in a state of truly being amazed. we both (will and I) checked over the car, not a single spot on the exterior, they even went so far as to buff out two scratches on the door, that I had been unable to get out, and once I opened the door and looked inside, my true amazement was evident to the crew standing by. I felt like I received my car off the Showroom floor...It truly looked like it was a brand new vehicle.....GREAT JOB Will and crew.....

I took my car in specifically to get the interior cleaned because I had spilled protein shake in the center console, and I had hoped taking it to cactus would get it cleaned better and in shorter time than if I did it myself. After spending $40 and half an hour there, my car came back with protein shake still caked all over the center console except now it smells like chemicals and its been covered in a layer of grease. Ive previously had great experiences with cactus, but Im not going back after that.

Absolutely horrible. I paid for the $20 special. The outside of my truck remained dirty with added dirt streak marks. I waited for 30 to 40 minutes for the employees to clean the interior. It wasnt even touched aside for the dashboard and window. The worst car cleaning experience ever. Footnote- this is coming from a very reasonable reviewer.

I have been coming to this car wash for 3 years. It is close by so I go there for convenience. There are always little spots on the inside of my windshield from the splatter of the dash spray they use. The workers are friendly.

Paid for the most expensive ultimate full service wash. Garbage. Both the inside and outside of my car is still dirty. My seats have marks that I can wipe off with picking my finger. They did practically nothing after the automated drive through portion. I even have a huge smudge on my windshield. The back of my car still has bird crap on it. Waste of time and money.. find somewhere better. You can do a better job with applying little effort. I would only use their cheapest drive through service if I ever go back

Very affordable and these guys do a great job. Even after you go they the automatic wash, these guys wipe your exterior down for you. This place is the best bang for your buck.

They do a pretty good job. Be sure to check all of your tires to ensure the job was completed. My last time through only one side was completed.

Tried having car detailed here three times and they did a horrible job on the wax all three times. Got it all over the black rubber trim and didn’t even wipe it off the body in many places. Third time my cup holders weren’t even touched and there was still dust all over my dash. That cost me $90. I’m done trying with this place.

Not real detailed oriented. If you are looking for a quick not so cheap wash, then they are great. But if you really need a good detail, they arent the place. Had bird poop on my back window, had to point it out to the employee in order to get him to remove it.

Excellent workmanship.

I was very impressed with the staff. I came in an hour before they closed and my car had to be hand washed because the mirrors wouldnt go in. I felt so bad. They said it might be extra, but ended up telling me not to worry about it. I was probably the aggravating customer, but they were so nice! The car wash was also fantastic!

It took staff 10 minutes, and water spots already set in for staff to even acknowledge that my car was parked in lane 3. Seven... Seven cars who arrived after me left before me. I appreciate the managers apologies but I will never go back to Cactus again. Terrible service by the two detailing my car and no one even offered to cover a part of the cost, no need for a full recharge as my car did get cleaned.

I got the managers special. I waited from 2:20 until 4:10pm for my car. It looked like a 3 year old cleaned the interior windows with slobber. Not happy at all. They werent even that busy.
