Honest, professional mechanic! Local, family owned business. A mechanic you can trust. They will only fix what is broken, wont try to overcharge you. I cannot say enough about how incredible they are. I always compare prices. After shopping around 8+ different places (including dealer) they are consistently the best deal in Charleston. They have years of experience, and phenomenal work ethic. Overall, amazing service!

Absolutely amazing work. Mike was able to get a bearing pressed when no one else would bother. Didnt hesitate to help. I was in town for a wedding and no one would even give me the time of day. The whole shop is knowledgeable and very trustworthy. I was a mechanic for 11 years and have trouble trusting shops. I didnt even flinch and next time I come in town Ill take my Jaguar to him no questions asked.

Came in this morning for the first time and left completely satisfied. Mike did not only solve the problem in our car but he also gave us great advice on how to manage the cars future scenarios. Nicole was very nice and professional while handling the paper work as well.After our first ever visit, Mike has become our to go mechanic in the area. Highly recommend his services to everyone.

Im not sure why this place would have gotten such high of star ratings and reviews online when I had a negative experience. On my car, it took them three days with me calling them constantly for something they originally told me would take 3 hours to complete. They left my check engine light on as well and told me I could bring it back in a week to turn it off. I originally had to wait a week and a half to even get an appointment there. Their prices were high and communication extremely poor and were not good at returning phone calls. I wanted to really like this place since it was so close to my house, but will not return.

I visited Mike McKnights Automotive this morning and I could not be more pleased. This establishment is very competent, honest and professional. I dealt with Mike McKnight himself and everyone there was very pleasant and friendly. I was given very prompt service for a minor problem. I highly recommend them for your automotive needs, big or small.

Nicole was such a huge help for me. Even though I havent had any work done yet, they treated me like family from the very first time I called to talk about options with my Toyota 4Runner. I feel so relieved knowing that I have a trustworthy, honest shop to take my SUVs from now on.

Dont go to this shop! Had my car worked on at this shop and when I got it back transmission was leaking and it wasnt before I took it to them then charged me for something they did and come to find out the didnt put all bolts on exhaust so had to go buy new ones because one of me exhaust pipes was hanging because they didnt put all on and the ones they did were loose!! I dont recommend this place
