Just moved here from Buffalo NY. Dropped a vehicle off to be looked over, They were as professional a company I ever dealt with. Found all my problems, explained them and priced each repair individually. Extremely satisfied wit service and price. Awesome repair shop.

I went to Bryson’s garage yesterday because a screw came off of my front bumper and she was struggling to stay on a little bit. Austin came out and repaired my car for me and within 15 minutes I was back on the road. It was an easy fix, however, I had been turned down by two other car repair places previous to trying this one. Austin didn’t even hesitate to help me. Very friendly staff and great work. I will absolutely be returning!

We have use used Brysons for the last few years. Recently, we were having problems with my dads A/C. They originally told us it would cost over $1000 to fix, but they found a solution to bypass the work and charged us just under $500. Needless to say, it didnt work. They said to fix properly, we need to take out the whole dash and needed to charge $1000. I refused. They clearly didnt fix the A/C the first time. I offered to pay the difference. They refused. I will never use them again. They DO NOT stand behind their work. Find someone better!

I feel guilty for the delay posting the review as I promised the crew to do it last November. Apologies.I brought my 10 yrs old Subaru that never gave me any serious grief to the ONLY dealer in the area and was shocked how dismissingly the tech/mgr on duty diagnosed the very loud noise at the point of starting the engine as may be a hole behind the engine, quoting almost 2K cost. He didnt know for sure the cause but was sure about cost already.They are so overwhelmed with customers flow, he didnt care to even make the price sound real. I felt that he actually hoped that I would leave and not show up again. I thought they had ran the check up on my car in the box, but obviously they didnt, having all fancy equipment.I was pretty desperate not knowing whats going on with that noise as it might lead to an abrupt engine brake or something else. Residing in Johns Island I would love to use a local garage but always turned to the dealer as prescribed.So I called Brysons and made an appnt. Within a day, I think it was Austin I spoke with, my car was not only finally diagnosed CORRECTLY but also fixed. There were just few screws loose and one got lost m that held some plate that started to rattle and yes, I would soon have lost all the screws if continued driving like that.So at Brysons, though they may have not THAT fancy equipment as my car dealership, they had no problem to pin the problem, not GUESS, about it, and fixed it for a dozen times LESS cost than my dealer quoted.I was impressed with guys/crew integrity and honesty, as they saw that I am an easy to be tricked customer, would have no clue what the problem was, having no choice but to trust their opinion. They could spike the price easily. They didnt.Thats why I spiked the tips to express my gratitude for such an honest attitude and a prompt quality service. Not speaking of saving my budget from a major financial hit.May you all be always treated as fairly and honestly as you treat those who come to you for help!

Mr. Robbie Bryson repaired my brake caliper for my Acura TL about a year ago because it was making a screeching noise and engaging and constantly braking while I was driving. I had another issue with my car making noise recently and Mr. Bryson checked out my car and made sure all was well again. Very polite and on time service and an honest man. Very reasonable and kind. Was very considerate about me dropping off my car/keys, and picking it up again to work around my busy schedule. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a good service on their car.

Brysons garage raises the bar on expectations for a mechanic shop. I made an appointment to weeks in advance, dropped off my car at the appointed time, they called in a couple of hours and said my car would be ready the same day despite a substantial amount of work that had to be done to it. Their prices are very fair especially considering how little time it took them to do everything, giving me the freedom to not have to deal with finding alternative transportation overnight.

I can not say enough about Austin and the crew at Brysons. I trust Austin implicitly because he has proven time and again that he has my safety and best interests at heart. He always tells me if I really need a repair and exactly how long I can go and still be safe to drive. He is a consummate professional and didnt hesitate to tell me when it was time to stop putting money into my 17 year old car. I would never consider going anywhere else.

I would highly recommend Brysons Garage, Austin was Fantastic he gave me a quote and was right on the number and he delivered the vehicle in a timely manner!The whole a/c was completely replaced and they also fixed a bracket to the pulley, since it was associated with the a/c unit he didnt charge me labor just the price of the part! I will definitely use Brysons for all of my needs!

Can’t recommend this garage enough! The mechanic was super knowledgeable, answered all my questions and worked to get me the best price and best parts with warranty, not to mention fast service! We were really happy to find a stand up mechanic who is now our go-to guy in town. We have sent our friends and family to him now too.

I stopped by on a Friday because my check engine light was on after driving down to Asheville and I was concerned I would be able to make it back. Even the owner had all day appointments and was short handed, he immediately came to look at my car and ran a diagnostic on it. He advised me what the problem was am offered a few solutions that could work to get me back home. He did all of this without charging me anything. Super kind, super knowledgeable. I was in tears because I was so grateful for his kindness and help. Thank you, thank you!!

If you need work done to your used vehicle no longer under warranty, this is your place. The front desk staff and mechanics treat you like family and provide a high quality of repair work with a heavy dose of honesty. I was shocked to make an appointment for vehicle work - but they book their customers and stick to their timeline with efficiency. They charged a fair price and gain business by word of mouth. I’m sure they would do excellent work for fleet maintenance for commercial clients as well. I won’t take my vehicle anywhere else in Charleston. This place is a gem!

Call them two weeks ago for a quote they said I had to talk to the mechanic. I think that they are way over priced I think they are difficult to deal with. Brought the car in at 8:40 finally got my quote at 10:15 AM very expensive!!!

Brysons garage was fantastic! I highly recommend to anyone with car trouble! My wife and I have been taking our cars to Bryson’s for about 2 years now. I don’t normally write reviews, but I thought it time to thank them for their service over this time. We find them to be very honest, flexible on making appointments and seemingly always looking for alternative fixes to reduce our repair cost. Austin and his team are terrific guys and although there is always the stress of unknown issues with our cars not operating properly, we never stress that these guys will look out for our best interest. I was in Charleston on vacation in the middle of a road trip. When I started having issues, a local recommended Brysons. Despite being booked for several days, someone took the time to look under the hood, give me feedback and even topped off my break fluid. He offered recommendation of another local place to take it to, hoping they may have more availability. I even offered to take them, and he refused. I only wish they would have had availability, but I guess thats the result of providing great service!

Ausitn and his crew are absolutely the best around. I take 4 different vehicles here for all kinds of different service and have never been disappointed. As far as honesty and price they cant be beat. There have been multiple times he could have charged me for parts and repairs that others have told me I needed but Austin has told me I didnt need it or it could wait. Austin and the entire crew at Brysons took good care of me and did the job right! Took my 4Runner in with a check engine light and bad vibration. Initially they thought they had it fixed and returned it, but the vibration returned on the way home. Called Austin and he immediately took it back while apologizing and promised to make it right. They fixed it the next day and it hasnt had an issue since. I appreciate their honesty and integrity, how they dealt with the issue speaks volumes of the shop and the people there. Will be taking all our family vehicles there in the future!

This is the second time I’ve used Bryson’s. My Ford F-250 was having some problems, I happened to be closer to a competitor and they looked at my vehicle and gave me a quote for repairs, my gut told me the quote was ridiculous.I brought the truck back to Bryson where I should’ve gone in the first place, and was charged $570 less for better work. Should have gone straight to Brysons.
