My first interaction with this company was after some hurricane force winds struck the area in 2016. Theyre the only company that responded to my phone calls and were out there late in the day the day after the wind storm guides surveyed the damage gave me a range of the cost. After paying a deposit our roof was the first one to be tarped in the entire neighborhood all the other companies did not get a chance to get out there but storm guard did and we were carved before the next rain storm hit. Install the correct shingles on the roof waited till the weather was warm enough to do so. 5 years later I ended up having some other shingles that got blown off by another windstorm called storm guard again they came out discover that it wasnt there shingles that I got blown away and immediately repaired the damages. Once again their professional service was amazing the work quality is impeccable and I do know that at least five other homes in our own neighborhood have had their roofs by this company.I would use this company again in a heartbeat. thanks Hugo

Storm Guard was very professional, competent and efficient when replacing my roof and trim. Doug Toler was personable and knowledgeable, answered my emails and calls promptly and oversaw the project beginning to end. After sending Storm Guard a few pictures of my home, I chose my shingle style and color and received a quote the next day (work began the end of the following week). The work crew was very respectful, cleaning up all debris from the removal and replacement materials.The only cons of my Storm Guard experience was the time to get larger samples of the shingle colors I was debating. The online manufacturer’s colors are not representative, but I realize that putting full size shingles on a board isn’t realistic.

Im not big on posting reviews but for this major home repair project, I just wanted to pass along my experience working with Storm Guard. Two of my neighbors had already used Storm Guard and recommended them. From the beginning it was clear they were a professional organization. They came and did an initial assessment, walked us through the insurance process, came out and talked with the insurance inspector during their inspection, explained what the next steps were, and kept the communication going through the day and a half of the roof replacement. The crew worked their butts off and did an outstanding job. They even circled back and inspected the roof and had the crew fix something that I, as the homeowner, didnt even notice. When you are spending a small fortune on a home repair project finding the right contractor can make all the difference. Storm Guard in Chantilly is one of those companies. We had a leak in our roof. Hugo checked over our roof and showed us pictures of what needed to be fixed (other companies had tried to tell us we needed more work done). Hugo was very friendly and honest and didn’t try to sell us on unnecessary work. They fixed the roof in a timely fashion and for a good price. Now our roof doesn’t leak anymore. We would use them again in the future for other projects.

I contacted Doug from Storm Guard and he had Hugo come out to inspect our house. Based on their review, they suggested we contact the insurance company for an inspection/claim. We did so, and Hugo was here as our advocate when the Insurance Adjuster came. Hugo worked with the adjuster and we received a full roof. Through the roofing process, their crew was friendly, worked efficiently, and did everything they could to leave my yard looking untouched. My roof looks like a million bucks...fortunately, the bill was nowhere near that! :)They are extremely professional and let their work speak for itself. I especially appreciate they dont drop off a bunch of guys in the neighborhood to knock on my door 17 times (cough...cough...Katchmark). They also didnt unfurl a bunch of banners and turn my front yard into a billboard. These are small things to some, but they are important to me and I appreciate it.

Storm Guard is the best! Called in the morning, Brandon came out a few hours later during their busy season. A competitor wanted to charge me $395 to fix my roof. Brandon found some loose shingles and sealed them up, no charge. Two months later, no leaks. As a single woman its nice to find a company that wont take advantage of you. I highly recommend Storm Guard to others and will be using them in the future.

They fairly determined that the damage was minimal and did some minor repair WITHOUT the hard sell of a whole new roof. The owners name is Doug Toler, I was super impressed with his knowledge, of not only my roofing concerns, but about everything he knew about the construction of my home. I was so impressed with how much detail in a matter of minutes Hugo had in his hands about my home. Hugo then told me that they have the same software the insurance companies use to write up damage assessments which simply means their software speaks the same language as the software insurance companies use so it cuts down on time and they can get claims done faster since they are speaking the same language as the insurance adjusters. I was very happy with Storm Guard Roofing and Construction. The original roofing contractor did not install the roofing shingles properly and water was leaking behind our gutter. I noticed some leaking coming through the roof in my house and gave them a call and left a voicemail to set up a free consultation. Jamar called me back almost immediately and was able to set up with a timely appointment. On the day of, Jamar was timely, friendly and I was very impressed with how knowledgeable he was. Even on a very windy day, he didnt hesitate to climb on top of my roof to do a close up inspection and even took pictures of some problem areas he noticed. He explained what he thought the issues were and thoroughly laid out what repairs needed to be done. We hired StormGuard to replace our main roof and shed roof and remodel our outdoor shed, and they did an amazing job! Brandon was beyond fantastic to work with on the project. He was very knowledgeable, responsive and personable. Roland and Guy did a wonderful job on the shed...they took it from a useless and gross mess to a bright, clean and useful workspace/storage space. They were also happy to do a couple small things for us (like replace a ceiling fan), and they did an excellent job as well. The crew that worked on the roof did a great job also, and they did a fantastic job cleaning up...we havent run across any nails or debris at all. We have never had any home improvement project go as well as with StormGuard, and we couldnt recommend Storm Guard (and especially Brandon) highly enough!
