Very nice place to stay and the staff is really great, appreciate everything they do to make you feel safe and comfortable

Great location close to airport and close to wedding venue. Checkin process was quick, simple and no issues. They even allowed us to check in early. The checkout procedure was even easier where you drop keycard in box (contactless) and keep moving. The staff was friendly. The bad outweighed the good though. The Iron broke in my room and reported it to front desk and no one ever came to replace it. We were in town for a wedding midway through steam ironing my shirt the iron lit up and shocked me and stopped working. Got iron from fathers room across the hall and reported it and requested it be changed by never got any assistance or replacement iron. It was still on the counter when we checked out. Towels were never replenished also. The room was clean and tidy however the worst part of the experience was the Old uncomfortable mattress with squeaky coils. The bed actually sunk down in the middle when you lay on the bed. I expected more from courtyard in the nations capital. Would recommend you consider other hotels nearby even if this was the cheaper option, not worth it. I definitely would not stay here again

There are two hotels with nearly identical names, Courtyard by Marriott Dulles Airport Chantilly and Courtyard by Marriott Dulles Airport Herndon. We booked at the wrong location and were not able to get any refund back whatsoever. According to the hotel staff this is happening to several guests all day long. Marriot has no incentive to fix this confusion because they are making BIG MONEY off of these mistakes daily. They are even having their employees book to the wrong location via telephone and having the guest pay for the mistake. This is coming straight from the mouth of their staff. These hotels are located about 5 minutes away from each other, so there is also the problem people having issues being navigated to the wrong GPS. Besides the confusion of the hotel names the rooms themselves are no luxury experience. Our room was incredibly humid to the point that it messed up an expensive hairdo I just had done. They have useless french doors in the bathroom that do nothing but jam up on each other and get in the way. My parents room had broken AC for the duration of their stay, and they received no room service at all. They charge you for breakfast, and at high prices too. These people are con artists and I will never stay in another Marriot hotel. STAY AWAY.

Positive: The staff were excellent and addressed all my questions. Included was a breakfast of two yoghurts each day (they also had a muffin and granola bar, but the yoghurts were fine for me). They also gave access to an off-site 24 hour gym, but I didnt try it Negative: The room had a musty smell of past smokers (not recent smokers, but of years ago). After a few hours, I adapted and could no longer smell it.

Up front, the Bistro is closed but there are a lot of food options around. They do offer a bag breakfast which is convenient.The room was clean and comfortable. The room was relatively quiet. The colors have been updated to the gray scheme across Courtyards.

Nice to tell us we have no amenities at all - the pool is closed and so if the bistro - two big reasons we stayed here so thanks for lying on your website - we won’t be staying the extra night and I won’t ever trust these guys not to lie to me ever again! What a freaken awful stay!

Only strange thing. No microwaves in any room n they have hanging cards telling u to hang towels to dry n reuse. I belive they r juat conserving energy all around. Staff was very helpful n nice

Everytime I come here I only get a 1st floor room because some how everyone here request a high floor room … EVERY day even with a week break from this place still only 1st floor rooms .. I hate it because I get no internet and the service is horrible.. one bar and no laptop internet because I’m on the first floor .. it’s a waste of money

Great location for anyone visiting the area. Convenient to the convention location which was about less than 5 mins away driving. The Courtyard by Marriott was well maintained, clean, and smelled fresh. The check in process was quick and easy. The hotel room itself was clean with comfortable beds for you to just sink in and relax. I would highly recommend this location stay for anyone traveling here in this location as I would for sure come back because the price was also reasonable for a late 2 day booking!

Stayed there and was woken up by fight next door. Cops called and finally quiet at 4am. Come back that night and the day management allows them to stay another night! I get to move if i want any sleep. Next night another party group is there. Front desk staff is only reason i give them a 2 stars. They are great. Location is great just dont feel safe with the people they allow to stay.

Excellent hotel close to the airport, really enjoy the cleanliness of the rooms, great staff and location close to several restaurants and shops. Never have an issue with requesting a late check out. Four stars total because some shuttle drivers won’t get out of the van to assist with bags.

I have a good experience with this hotel. Obviously everything is limited because of COVID but customer service was excellent and the room was clean!

I stayed 3 nights for a family wedding and found the hotel to be fine, but not a hair above that, which is what I would have expected for Marriot. The entire hotel is laid out oddly. I had a broken foot and had to walk very far to the elevator. The staff seemed a little inexperienced. The entire hotel lacks USB ports. The cleaning staff didn’t take used glasses out of room or replace used supplies. The bar/restaurant had a terrific waitress, but the food was just pre-packaged stuff, and VERY expensive. The hotel lobby doesn’t even offer complimentary coffee or water. The internet kicks you off after a short period of time and if you’re not paying attention you end up using your data. The lighting in the bathroom is pathetic. The courtyard is beautiful but super noisy. I could go on. This place is fine for a one night stay, but I’d never stay for multiple nights again.

I can rely on Courtyard for comfortable lodging at a competitive price, and this was no exception. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet all night. I could easily control the room temperature. I enjoyed a jog on the excellent treadmill in the little gym. In the morning I breakfasted on Starbucks coffee and my favorite, hot oatmeal with walnuts and a banana. The staff was cheerful and helpful. I did not like the couch and I wished there was better lighting for reading in the room, but these are the first world problems of a spoiled traveler. Courtyard is my first choice for business trips.

Great place to stay for my needs. Convenient shuttle from airport and to the expo center where my event was taking place. Nice, clean rooms with mini fridge. Comfortable lounge area with big TV and games. Friendly staff.

The Park and Fly feature is convenient and the hotel makes it easy to use. The van driver and the front staff members were all friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and quiet. Personally, I dont care for the all-gray decor in the rooms. They look dull and gloomy. The Starbucks was not open when I checked in late in the afternoon, so I had to go out for dinner. That was a hassle, as I was tired and did not want to go out. Also, theres no microwave in the room, so getting a simple frozen meal from a grocery store was not an option.

Clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Tea tree products for bathing was a plus. Convenient bistro off lobby for breakfast, quick snacks, and beverages (not included). Each courtyard room has a patio or balcony. Fitness center is open 24 hours and has dumbbells (up to 50#) two treadmills and an elliptical.

The atmosphere from outside to inside are just peaceful, relaxing and clean. Like Ive mentioned, the location is great because it is close but not very close to the highway. Close to the restaurant like Longhorn (great burger, salad & soup) and Bob Evans. Plumbing fixtures and water temperature are seem to be well maintained because we can compare them from other hotels.

The property is a little on the older side but it is a nice. About what you expect in a courtyard

After such a long day and my flight being canceled, this was exactly what I needed. Super clean and the most comfortable bed. I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. Super clean and beautiful hotel. Thank you Marriot for making my night stress free and relaxing.

When you check in the purse and the taxman smiles and greet you warmly. The room itself is clean and up-to-date. The amenities i.e. the soaps and shampoos are all very good hands of high-quality.

The room is comfortable as is the bed. You have to call the shuttle and it will take a fair amount of time, but it will arrive. I have stayed at this hotel quite a bit for work because it is convenient. However, I won’t anymore because the staff is just terrible. For the life of me I can’t figure it out as the Marriot product is so solidly good. There are many, many hotels in the area. No need to stay here.

Once again this is one of the courtyards with 3 total bar stools in the bar area. Went down to try to watch the game and there was no where to sit. Ordered a vodka soda that took the bartender 15 min to make. I asked about changing the channel on one of the other TVs and no one that worked there knew how to change the channel. At 10pm there were over 20 people in the lobby trying to unwind from the day when the bartender announced he was closing. The people that work here actively try to avoid helping anyone. The bartender especially. He spent most of the time in the back and the line to get a drink was 5 deep. Thats when he decided is was closing time! If you are a business traveler, I would avoid this place.

In general, my stay at the Courtyard Dulles Airport Chantilly was comfortable. The suite room was so clean and large that my family spent good time. However, the noisy sounds happened at every an hour or less. That disturbed our sleep during the night.

Due to covid 19, the gym, the pool were closed. No microwave in room. All banging in other room resonate in your room.

We only stayed here one night, but the room was nice. The hotel is obviously older and the age shows through at times. But there are enough updates to make it a decent option.

The shuttle took 45 minutes to pick me and other guests up at the airport, after calling several times. When I booked the room online, I ordered a suite. When I got there they said there were no suites left. Went to the bar restaurant and the bartender has been in the back talking to the cook nearly half the night. While myself and other guests wait for drinks. I ordered a margarita pizza. They neglect to tell me they are out of basil, so I essentially got a tomato pizza. The service was just bad. Which is unfortunate, as the location and hotel is nice.

Walls were paper thin. Could hear everything going on in the hallway and rooms next to ours. I asked for extra toiletries prior to our arrival. Soap, shampoo and conditioner were in the shower (in dispensers), but had to ask again for extra lotions. Rooms were nice and clean. Bed was comfy but pillows are never fluffy enough. Didn’t realize air shows started at 7am. Granted it was really close to Dulles but I’ve stayed at the airport hotel in Dallas before and it was not this noisy there. Front desk and housekeeping people were really pleasant and helpful. Would stay here again but bring my own pillows and ear plugs next time.

Crisp and clean, beautiful well kept hotel. A little further from the airport than other hotels, but that will save you a few dollars. The free airport shuttle runs on the half hour so just plan ahead to get there on time. Customer service was excellent.

The staff here are a delight! Youll be more than impressed to see how lovely and cosey the lobby area is. Try the bar and see what Im talking about.

The courtyard makes the place. Its like a little oasis in the middle of chaos. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the shower was clean as well. The only negative thing I can say is that the TV and provider are awful. It takes forever to scroll through channels so use the guide and key in the channel you want. The staff is always professional and courteous.

If you’re flying in, this is a perfect spot to stay the night and save some money. Comfortable beds and beautiful courtyard to hang out and relax. Not ideal for a long period of time. Staff are welcoming. Not the best bar or evening service, but besides that the stay is wonderful. Shout out to Odyssey, an employee there always willing to go that extra mile. Enjoy your stay if you plan to stay!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Courtyard at Dulles Airport Chantilly and was so glad that I had chosen this hotel. The room I stayed in was beautifully decorated and it met every need that I had for my overnight stay. When I finally laid down to rest for the night the comfortable bed made my night away from my husband more relaxing, I was sleep within minutes and I overslept the next morning. The bathrooms were spotless (thats very important to me) and the spa shower I cant say enough! My stay was truly a home away from home experience. The staff was friendly and greeted everyone with smiles as they entered the lobby. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and co-workers.

Excellent hotel. Very comfortable bed, great service, AC in room was great and the shower was awesome. The rooms where clean and updated. There was only one outlet at each bed side, which is adequate, but typically I prefer two. Parking was free and abundant, but the hotel structure is a little odd since its big.

Staff was wonderful when I checked in. Clean rooms. Lobby restaurant available for a cocktail and quick breakfast. A walking path around a pond across the street for a great morning walk.

This is a great hotel. It would be awesome for a group event with many areas to break off for a private conversation, meeting rooms, and step out for a breath of air.the room was clean and comfortable.

A very beautiful delightful room. I love the little couch and the wallpaper and texture of it just had a very warm and open field. The shower nozzle was Splendid as well. It was a very great place to stay as the many lamps and lights gave it a perfect atmosphere. the pool was a lot of fun and I look forward to staying there again

Nice Hotel with good price. Definitely worth it. As usually we chose it for our Washington trip....as it was much cheaper then Washington Hotels but the distance wasnt that long. So we gave it a try and wasnt disappointed. Clean, spacious, friendly stuff. Recommend!

I have been struggling to find ideal overnight accommodations in the area until I discovered the Courtyard Dulles hotel. Every aspect of the stay ranked high scores. The check-in/check-out process was streamlined and efficient. The staff was friendly and courteous. The room was clean and the décor was up-to-date and appealing. The amenities were ideal and no problems were encountered. Unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to utilize the onsite restaurant and am; therefore, unable to provide any feedback. Based on my experiences at other local hotels in the same general category, I would say that this site out performs the others. I plan on returning often.

Amazing suites, Tiffany at front desk was amazing and friendly. Anything we needed she had a solution for and made our business trip feel like we were still home. Love this place and its service

From the airport shuttle driver to the person cleaning the rooms, we were made to feel welcome.I dont know that any particular extraordinary service stands out. We didnt get a free upgrade to suite so everything was viewed through rose colored glasses. Someone picked good people and didnt mess with them. You cant rah, rah people into being pleasant, helpful humans. It flows downhill. I would imagine the site management treats the staff the way management wants the staff to treat guests.

Staff was very nice. Room was very nice. This is the first hotel I’ve had to pay extra for breakfast in a long time. I won’t stay here again as there are a variety of high quality suites style hotels near Dulles that include breakfast and cost the same.

The Courtyard Dulles Airport Chantilly is located in an area easily accessible from the interstate and located in an area with many opportunities for shopping or dining. It is within 5 minutes of the Smithsonian Uvar-Hazy Center which houses the Space Shuttle Discovery and many other historic flying machines. The hotel was extremely reasonable in cost. I was staying with my daughter to celebrate Fathers Day weekend. It was situated in an ideal place to see many of the Washington D.C. attractions.

I used this hotel to park for a trip out of Dulles. It was pouring rain and the shuttle driver not only drove me to my car but carried my suitcase to my car! So very thoughtful!!! And everyone was so friendly - will always choose this hotel!

The woman who checked me in was very nice, attentive, and overall helpful. However, the gentleman working beside her that evening, from whom I sought assistance when trying to locate the elevator, was snippy, unfriendly, and lacked a general concern for my question about the elevators location. The bed was quite soft and comfortable, but the arrangement of the room felt cramped and clunky. Overall, it was not a horrible or even bad stay. However, it was not what I have grown to expect from Marriott and the Courtyard brand.

It seems as if rewards dont matter when it comes to customer service with Marriott. Booked room with breakfast included. Breakfast was the same for everyone regardless of what they paid. Corporate office uses the blanket excuse for everything. I am sick of the because of covid excuse. How about telling the truth, you decided to fleece customers and give minimal amenities instead of treating reward members with something other than a cold shoulder. I doubt we will return to this hotel again and judging from the corporate response when I called, we will probably avoid Marriott completely.

Great location that is close to the airport and close to the Herndon and Manassas neighborhoods. Plenty of nearby restaurants and shopping, great spot if you want to stay outside D.C.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Though, the room we booked intending to have 3 people in, was a bit smaller than expected. Not unmanageable though. Everyone slept comfortably and it was a very good experience.

The overall appearance of the hotel interior just seems dated. From the hallways to the rooms, I was not impressed. The lobby is nice, but thats where it stopped. The decor of the room and bathrooms just seem old and dingy. I think its time for a refresh. I have stayed at lower end/budget hotels that seemed better decorated and had a more upbeat environment than this hotel.My four day/three night stay included breakfast. The service from the Bistro was prompt, however, the food was bland and mediocre. I ate breakfast from the Bistro on two of the three mornings. I could not eat there for the last day because it was an underwhelming experience.As a Marriott Rewards member, I have stayed at other Marriott properties around the world over the past several years. This is one of two hotels that I am staying at during this 30 day trip and selected this property based on past positive experiences with the Courtyard name. I expected the other hotel to be on the lower end because of the lower cost per night (Hampton Inn). I was wrong.This Courtyard property rated at the bottom.

I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights in November 2015. It is conveniently close to the intersection of 28 and 50, not too far from Dulles airport. The room was comfortable; there is a small cafe on site. There are also several restaurants nearby, including a few within walking distance. I last stayed here about five years ago; I will definitely return if my travels bring me back to this part of Virginia.

All services that you would normally expect at a hotel are severely limited right now. No breakfast in the morning, but you can ask for a brown bag with a nutri grain bar and an orange. Housekeeping services are also limited, but available more often if requested.

The sink is outside the bathroom which I find it disturbs others sleeping in the room & had no free breakfast; otherwise its clean, modern, comfortable, nice courtyard in the center for outdoor space.
