Doug Emmerich has been the best tax advisor I have had. He cares about his clients, is knowledgeable, and his work is accurate. I do think though that the prices that H&R charges to file taxes is very steep. Even with the discount that Doug was kind enough to provide me with, I still think the fee should not be more than half of what I paid this year, especially since most of the information was already available from last year, and was simply copied over.

Dustin is knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. My life has too many components and variables now for me to be confident doing my taxes on my own! I am grateful to have him looking out for me and my family :)

I typically do my taxes online but opted to set an appointment so I could gain a more personal experience. However the tax preparer never once mentioned pricing or cost until after all was done. When he mentioned the total cost was close to $300. I commented that this was much much higher then my online experience. The tax preparer paid no real attention to my concern and just moved forward. In retrospect I paid the charge, but was unhappy with the lack of discussion or supposed transparency/ no surprise policy. As I was very surprised at the significantly higher fee.

Prior to Covid19, Christine was very candid about what to expect and what to do, being proactive for 2020 filing.

Dustin is an exceptional tax expert. This year I was chose to download all my tax information digitally and then have a phone meeting. This option worked perfectly for me. Dustin explained everything completely and answered any question I posed. I will be looking to use this option next year.

Yesterday i went in to get a replacement emerald card at this location.. it was never sent in the mail. I called customer service and they said they will issue me a new card at any h&r block location but said they couldnt do it at this place, because it was online.. i went to another h&r block and was able to get one... so im never going back. Obviously they dont know how to do their job there... they need more knowledgeable ppl working there..

Been trying to reach the tax guy I had an I tried calling this location I keep getting directed together locations an they cant seem to find anything about my taxes Ive emailed the guy who was my tax accountant an I still havent recieved anything back.
