I took my SUV because it had a check engine light so the owner of the place Abel said it was the catalytic converters so payed $1200 and still doing the same thing...I dont recommend taking your vehicles there dont spent money on parts you dont need..

So the owner...Abel. ...Wow. I told the dude 3 times my truck was built to califonia emissions and it has CARB cats on it. And he kept telling me to put a straight pipe on to bypass a pre cat. ... a pre cat which is there regardless of vehicle registration for this engine family and year of build.... If I were to listen to him I would have made a few trips to his shop to pass smog/obd2 and several hundred dollars inspection for registration not to mention a poor running truck computer.... I doubt this guy is an ASE mechanic..... Just as bad as Scottsdale Muffler with BS.... charged me a premium to weld in a new cat and advised to bypass me to bypass my precat.

It’s hard finding honest mechanics and fair prices. The industry is littered with dishonest mechanics who look for any way to screw you over. I don’t know anything about cars.. when my radiator went out I took a chance and came here not knowing what to expect. I was skeptical to say the least. The owner checked my car and pointed out where the leak was. He took the car the next day in the morning and has it fixed with a new radiator 4 hours later. He only changed me $300 bucks. He said because of the pandemic he would help me. It was a blessing. Ended up needing a transmission cooler not long after and again for more than half of what Mineke wanted he again fixed my car. This guy is old school.. he likes helping people and knows his stuff. His staff get the work done quick and he gave me a lifetime guarantee. I can really say anymore than that. It just proof there’s still good people out there! I highly recommend this place.

We went to get a quote from Abel and because we needed to get parts ordered and it was a long wait he told us he didn’t want to do the job which is totally okay but he wasn’t very professional and didn’t try to help us find solutions.

Took my car here to fix an exhaust leak and all they did was make it worse. My exhaust now hangs down low and has a horrible rattle. Their welds also look like they were done by a blind child. Super sketchy as well, they apparently dont take credit or debit. Cash only.

After Henry Brown quoted us $1050 for a radiator repair, my husband called Abel at Cactus Radiator & Muffler. He got my car in within two days. Abel called an hour after we dropped it off. He said he’d replace the radiator & thermostat, etc all for $450. Four hours later my car was done, HB said it’d take at least 7. Abel & his team deserve recognition for their honesty, fair prices & quick efficient work.

If I could give a -10 star rating, I would. We took our car to Abel twice within a 2 month period. Each time it seemed it was a bigger problem. This last time we brought our car there it was a $1300 repair. It didnt work the day we got the car back. We finally got our car to another mechanic in Chandler and he called us saying there was duct tape on one of our hoses. DUCT TAPE! We had to replace the thermostat which was something that had been supposedly fixed thru Abel. The only mechanic that had worked on our our vehicle was Abel. Do not bring your car here unless you want shady work and to waste your money.

My experience at Cactus Radiators and Mufflers was incredible. I called and spoke with the owner, dropped my SUV off that same morning and they replaced my problematic exhaust and muffler system for a reasonable rate the same day. I highly recommend Cactus Radiators & Mufflers as they are very professional, courteous and offer a great value for automotive repair.

Great honest service at best price. Called them up and asked if i can be seen now and they agreed they had any opening for muffler work. When i arrived they indeed had me pull right onto the lift. Had my new muffler installed in less than 2 hours. Thanks.

Needed a new muffler for a car we bought for $50 lol Everywhere else wanted $300 and up. These guys quoted me $100-$120 and only an hour of my time. Sure enough, dropped it off, they took it right away. Kids and I wandered up to McDonalds to wait and about 50 minutes later they called and told me they were done! $124 out the door, parts and labor! And I also told them that I am trying to find an air box for the car, the part is no longer made, so hard to find and very expensive when I have. ($475 just for the part) he said he knew some people and would see what he could find for me! What great guys! The shop is a bit small but it works because you get the time and attention youre looking for and they are so friendly! I cant believe I didnt find them sooner! Definitely recommend!

Helped me out with a Exhaust delete for cheap, does good work

So far seriously disappointed!!!!! Told with vehicle unseen that this is whats wrong. Gave $200 & told when part comes in, theyll call and schedule install. 2 weeks later Go to find out what is going on and told Oh forgot about you ok so give back the $200 then told me cant give it back beciase used it to order my parts (really? U just said you forgot about me) since then calls were answered once, soon as identified, hung up on. Called back, straight to voicemail and now, blocked. So its not going to be pretty when I can get over to the shop next. I will bring 3 on your side the Chandler PD & if necessary, cast of questionable people who will get my money back. So highly recommended and very sad they seem to be shady as hell!!!!!

Abel was very profesional and took care of my Yukon needs. Abel is very Honest and upfront concerning any issues with my car. When my Yukon broke down he sent a tow truck to pick it up and take it to his shop. He order the parts needed and fixed my Yukon on a timely manner.

Terrible welds they look like a child was playing with a soldering iron and it took him less than 5 minutes to get a piece of old used piping on my car. He also tried to fight my buddy over being $5 short of what he wanted for used pipe.

The owner is the only person who speaks english.....before I went over, even though he does not use chemicals to clean the fins of the rad, he agreed to put a degreaser in there to clean it out. When i showed up to drop off the rad, he was not there but one of his employees called and had me speak to him....he reconfirmed that he would do this, but when i went to go and pick it up, he was not there again and his employee had me speak to him on the phone. He then says, I will be over, and when he comes, he says that my rad is clean enough....what ever. I only went there because i though i would have repaired my vehicle by sunday....and i could not finish. I should have waited till monday and had Chandler Radiator Services just a few shops down do the job for the same price and he used an aluminum polisher to clean the fins to look like new....i guess you live and learn.
