Weve moved seven times before, and because of Two Men and a Truck this most recent move was the best, least stressful and easiest move we have ever experienced. The Two Men and a Truck team called as promised and showed up very early in the scheduled arrival window. The team leader, Clinton, assessed the move while his team protected the floors, doors and door jambs. The team protected all are furniture with moving blankets. These movers are fantastic! I can highly recommend Two Men and a Truck with confidence! They are professional, polite, respectful, quick and efficient. If we ever have to move again my first and only call will be to Two Men and a Truck!

They were okay. They don’t explain their process clearly when you initially contact them, so there were a lot of misunderstandings.I had to reschedule thrice just to get them to come to my house and take my stuff because each time, something or the other went wrong.They never mentioned that I had to sign confirmation documents after deciding on a date to move, so I was waiting for them on the day I requested and they never showed up! But I could never reach their office by calling them, so it was completely pointless to request their services over the phone.I requested packing services as well and they agreed to do that, but when they came to my house, they just left, claiming I had too much stuff even though I specified the number of boxes I would need. But they completely ignored that and brought fewer boxes than what I needed because they assumed that since I’m a student, I wouldn’t have much stuff. It’s highly unprofessional to just dismiss a request that I’d made, make their own assumptions and ignore the specifics I mentioned in their worksheet.My mom had to go down to the office to talk to them and ask them to accommodate us, which was a major inconvenience, since I had asked them in advance and they kept confusing us.I had to end up packing my stuff myself and I had correctly estimated the number of boxes that I needed. The men who took my stuff to storage and the men who dropped it off at my apartment were nice and helpful though, so I’m giving a couple stars for that. But overall, not great and gave me a lot of stress.

Two Men and a Truck did a great job for me this week! It was my first time personally using movers and they were so great! They arrived on the early end of the time frame given, they were extremely quick and efficient, and everything was done on the lower end of the estimation given! But best of all Clayton, DeJario, and Ashton were friendly and made me feel very confident in my move! They made the whole process so easy- I will definitely be using them again!! And Christina in the office was amazing and beyond helpful! ☺️

I had estimated the big stuff and as much of the small stuff and boxes as I could both online and over the phone with the office, but when the movers arrived they said they wouldnt do more than one load and even if they did do more than one load, they said it would be far more costly than the hourly rate quoted to us because it would take us above the estimate. So half of our stuff remained at the old house and we had to find a way to move it ourselves. There needs to be a better estimate process in place. The movers took care with what they did move, but I would never use this company again.

Wanted me to pay the hourly rate for THEIR driving to even get to me. Local movers my derriere. Wanted $600 minimum, I called another and had it PROFESSIONALLY moved for 1/3 the cost.

Our move went extremely well. Our two movers, Ashton and Tay were careful, thorough, efficient, helpful and unceasingly potite and kind -- and strong. They were also tireless workers. My sincere appreciation, highest praise and respect for both of them. When the dictionary defines strong work ethic, there should be a picture of Aston and Tay. Moving is always hard, but Tay and Aston made it much, much easier.

Today one of the drivers flipped me off and my student drivers, happened at 9 am at Sam’s club in Champaign, IL. I don’t feel safe driving with people like that driving around your company isn’t professional if your drivers are internally giving the finger to others

I had a team of three men show up- Chase, John, and Ben. They were upbeat, friendly, professional, and efficient. I highly recommend this service, as I was closing the sale of my house and felt very overwhelmed. Having them handle the majority of my move helped a lot and made me feel less stressed.I’d also like to add that the office staff was great, too. Set up was easy. I spent a bit on time on the phone going over a long list of items to be moved. And the day of, I was contacted that the original crew was running late, but they had another crew done early and I could have my choice of which to use. I went with the earlier crew of three and couldn’t be happier.

I scheduled our move with Two men and a truck several weeks in advance. A moving consultant followed up with me quickly, asked relevant questions to better understand our needs and took time to listen to my concerns. Office staff was consistently helpful and patient. Phone hold times were reasonable in length. On the day of the move, I received a call from the moving crew notifying me they were on the way. They arrived early on in the arrival time bracket I was provided and moved very efficiently. They were ok with us helping them load and unload items to allow us to save service time. They were affable, but consistently professional. We spent more than $300 less than we were quoted and were so pleased with the overall experience.Id recommend being prepared and organized before the movers arrival. We saved so much time and money because we worked in advance to make the move a smooth process. I dont want to move again anytime soon, but if I have to, I will definitely use Two Men and. truck again!

No overcharge, very quick, and professional.I had tens of different furniture, electronics, boxes and luggage to move and I had a few more items unpacked yet. While packing those left items, the movers emptied my house in no time. Then in the new house, they were even faster and cautious about handling our belongings and put them in places I asked them to, kitchen, second floor etc.At this point, I am amazed at how good and efficient the overall service is. The total charge was actually lower than expected!! Even in this corona pandemic (movers were even wearing masks!), I had a great experience with moving.

I contacted this company, based on reviews. Received an online quote for $847.00 for my move. I lived in a 596 sqft. apt (not much stuff to move). I called the office in Champaign several times to discuss my quote and schedule a move date, no answer. Left at least two voicemails which were not returned. I also responded to an email from a Jamie twice, asking for a return phone call, and was never contacted. I went with Movers for Less in Champaign. They were quick and much better priced. Moved me for $345.00. I am quite glad Two Men and A Truck were not interested in my business, as I obviously saved $ 500.00.

Used 2 men and a truck out of Decatur for a move 5 years ago. They did a great job. No issues at all. So when moving again, tried to get hold of the Champaign IL Two men and a truck. Called for several days leaving 3 messages. Never heard back from them for 4 days. Tried contacting on line and they actually got in contact with us. Finally talked to rep. She said would prob be over $30,000 for our move comparing what we had on our last move which cost about $10,000. Scheduled a person to come to our home to give estimate for our out of state move. Rep was 20 mins late. no phone call. Said we would have our estimate in 48 hours. That was almost 2 weeks ago. Still dont have estimate. Got another quote from United Van lines for $10,000. A third of their estimated cost. United had their quote to us the same day and they answer their phone every time I call. Not impressed at all with Two Men and a Truck this time.

The gentlemen who were moving my house were awesome. There was a very customer service savvy man and there was a lets get down to business man and they were a very good team. The move didnt take as long as the estimate which saved me quite a bit. They were very conscious of my property, not wanting to cause any damage to it and also wanting to make sure it got exactly where it needed to go. I lived in the same apartment for 18 years. Moving is something I never had to do. I contacted two local companies. TMAAT responded quickly and were super helpful in the planning process. TMAAT were able to supply boxes, do a lot of the packing, and do a lot of the moving. Makari and Jonathan were great. They were on time, worked efficiently and consistently, and allowed me to have some great conversations with them throughout. Makari has some serious leadership skills in regards to his understanding of how to do things and his ability to communicate this information to the other employees so everyone is working together efficiently and effectively. I horribly underestimated how much it would take to pack and move everything, so they ended up having to call in two other movers and spending several hours longer than I estimated before they had to officially stop for the day. That was totally on me for being unprepared. I also ended up wanting to change my method of payment days after the service, and the business office was on top of contacting me back and getting that taken care of too. Kevin and Tae did a great job moving my office. They were careful with my things, efficient, and a pleasure to work with.

Absolutely furious. We scheduled the move, had everything packed and they did not take everything because “it was not on the list”. I hired them to move, they are not doing me a favor! Is like they did not want to do the work! I see that one customer commented how they did not have everything packed and still the guys took everything! The treatment I received is unbelievable!Addendum: on top of everything they ripped me off. They charged me for five hours although they came 8:40 and left the new place 12:45. From Champaign to urbana the drive takes 10 minutes. Almost $800 to not move everything. I would have probably paid cheaper to move cross country! NEVER HIRE THESE PEOPLE

So even though they were couple hours later then their estimated start time. I was still completely satisfied with their service. For several reasons. One once they got there. The guys were extremely friendly and helpful . They were quick and careful with everything we were moving. But what really sold me. Was I work overnights. So I happened to be sleeping . And my mom was waiting at the old place for them. And since I was asleep they couldn’t get ahold of me to let me know they were running behind. So someone actually ran by my old place to let us know. I felt that was above and beyond. These guys did a great job! And I’d recommend them for sure!

Two Men were able to schedule something for me on relatively short notice and their website tool for estimating your move is a very nice feature. They even let me update the estimate once I had gotten more accurate numbers. They were quick and only charged me for the things they moved and the time it took. No damage, no problems.

Gravely disappointing experience with Brenden, Avery and the company as a whole. I will never be using or referring this company again. As a local business owner, teacher, and grad student I intentional hired a moving company for efficiency and put extra money down to make sure a quality job was done. An internal move damaged 3 pieces (6k+ in value, 2 couches, and an heirloom cherry wood table) because of lacking competency. The boys made inappropriate jokes while working, forgot to wrap furniture and asked me the customer for wrapping material and tools. Then proceeded to request I call my building maintenance for help with disassembling of items. My building maintenance previously on-sight and overseeing suggested I document the process because Two Men and a Truck were being unprofessional. After filing a claim on site the company took over a month to finalize or fix any damages. After addressing the company they acknowledged they lost my claim but did nothing extra to compensate for my loses. Time is a previous commodity and along with my personal items being damaged they still have not hastily resolving the issue. I requested a payout in order to be done and move on, but instead the process is being dragged out and my time and resources wasted on managing the issue they created.

The movers were great!! Timely and used the warehouse space efficiently. Great team!! This is the 3rd time I’ve used your service and have NEVER been disappointed!! Great work!

Super impressed with the guys. I was very worried about them getting the huge truck onto my small and crowded street but they backed into my driveway without a single problem! They are very efficient and seem to have what they do worked down to a science, so they make it all look very easy. They did the job faster than I was quoted for so they saved me some money. They were also very nice. This is my second time using this company to move and I have only had great experiences with their staff and their service.

I have used 2 Men and a Truck before and was very pleased which is why I chose them for this big move. They ended up quitting early, didnt move all of my stuff and caused me to have to hire other movers to finish the job that they were contracted to do. Very disappointed. Customer service was contacted afterward and no solution to the issue other than they would re-train their staff so it didnt happen again to someone else. That was NOT a solution for MY move.

I had hired Two Men & a Truck to help me move once before, and they were great. This time they showed up on time to move my washer and dryer from the basement to the main floor. But they dropped the washer, broke the front soap drawer, and damaged it so badly that it leaks from the bottom while it’s running. Of course, I did not buy the extra insurance because it was a 15 year old washer, but it still worked like new. They also tried to leave without telling me what happened (I was not watching—tried to stay out of the way), and then claimed it was already damaged before they moved it. Valuable lesson learned!

We have used Two Men and A Truck twice now for moving. Our last move was not easy being on the second level of a duplex with only a two tiered deck or tight Hall to get in and out. They arrive on time and do everything in their power to keep you on schedule and keep cost down. The office staff is helpful in answering questions and getting things set up. I had seen Two Men and a Truck around the area and this company was mentioned a lot on the Nextdoor app which I appreciate for the word of mouth recommendations. So I decided to call them.Michelle was very professional and went through my million questions and did a thorough inventory of the goods I needed to move. Mine wasn’t a straightforward move. I was swapping furniture and collecting and giving away furniture at four locations. Michelle gave me a time range it would take — from the estimated minimum to maximum time estimates so I didn’t have any surprises. I appreciated her detailed work and professionalism. She used a computer program to input all four locations and technically five points because they had to circle back to my house.The day came and both Rashon Clemons and Lekonte Pelmore (Te pronounced Tay) came and listened and walked through what needed to be done. They were very efficient and hard-working. This was my first time using professional movers for anything (we always had a bunch of willing friends who helped us for pizza and good company :)). So I was nervous thinking “Time was money.” They understood my stress with wanting to minimize any extra expenses and got on it! :)Wow both Rashon and Te blew me away with their professionalism, hard work, and efficiency. They also were really positive, not like “Dang I hate this job. Ugh.” I loved their hard work can-do spirit.So my time estimate was between 2 hours 30 minutes to max 5 hours 30 minutes (I think), and they got it done in 2 hours 45 minutes! Bam! Awesome!!! Very happy! After two hours, they charge in 15 minute increments, so any amount shaved off is so helpful!To be fair, they were soooo good and efficient that they easily could have finished in LESS THAN 2 hours and 30 minutes, because both guys are AMAZING and make a GREAT TEAM!!!! BUT we had an unexpected hiccup because my friends were supposed to make room in their storage unit, but when we arrived there was no room to put the mattresses I was giving them. But Rashon and Te, the consummate professionals they are, rearranged everything to make the mattresses fit. Even with this extra unforeseen obstacle, they still made it in 2 hours 45 minutes!!! Yay!I can’t speak highly enough of Rashon and Te. Really professional and efficient. They handled all my furniture with care and didnt waste time. They disassembled and assembled our day bed. They handled my couch well. I really appreciated them from start to finish.If I ever move again I will call this company up!!!

Lots to do so this will be short but highly recommend. It was fast, the price was right, nothing damaged, respectful workers. Couldn’t ask for more.

Dylan and Brandon were both very nice, helpful and efficient. I had two Upack cubes full of furniture and they were able to get it unloaded in less than two hours. Would use this service again.

As I stated in my text reply to your text the crew did a ver good job of handling a very difficult move of a piano up from a basement to a garage. They were courteous and I would use them again.

Had an estimate on a move and I took pictures and described all the items I was wanting to move. Witch was a big list 129 items and 27 medium sized boxes. I told them I have seen their trucks and had others tell me about there experience with this company. So I explained Ill need two smaller trucks or a large and a small truck. They said I believe all of your items will fit on a large truck so without arguing I agreed with the professionals. The day of the move my movers seemed to be in not so good of spirits. When the man called me I herd people talking in the background about inappropriate behavior exc. They get to my location and I hear them talking about nothing extra only whats on the list Im tired of doing extra for no tip... I ignored that. Then all started to go well but then about 70% of my stuff is loaded on to the big truck and they are saying we might not have enough room for all my items. I then became a little heated about the situation because I had previously expressed my concerns about this issue at the beginning. After fighting and begging them they came up with the idea of a 2nd trip.... Witch too me cost much more then 2 trucks orginally. They were over my estimated time by 3 hours and about 700 dollars off my ticket price as well. Very unpleasant time with Two Men And A Truck.

Kayna worked with us over the course of several weeks to plan our move. She was patient and responsive to questions and sorting out all the details to provide an accurate quote. We did all our packing and disassembly of furniture before hand so the crew just had to put stuff on the truck. Brandon, Ashton, Jay, and Tay called when they were on their way and arrived right on time. They took a quick tour of the house and got an inventory and set to work. They were efficient and handled our items with care. They worked well together and had our house loaded up in no time at all. The unload went just as well. I stood outside the truck and directed the guys to the rooms they needed to go. Again, careful speedy work completed the task swiftly and smoothly. Because we packed things up and had things ready to go (and because I dis/reassembled all our furniture) our job came in under the quoted range. All 4 guys were extremely professional and courteous (and generally fun to hang out with for a couple hours). This move was just a temporary one for us; we get to do this all over again in a few months and theres no question were asking for the same crew.

Very nice and pleasant

Used 2 Men to move the furniture and kitchen contents from 1st floor of our house to a storage unit in September and then back again in February after a major remodel. They were on time and worked quickly and efficiently both times.

The guys were great. Chase Chenouetl (dp) a d Ashton Littleton were very professional. They arrived on time, worked quickly and were very careful not to damage anything. Highly recommend.

They were easy to schedule, on time, friendly, and worked hard for the duration of the move. They came in under budget as well.

We used Two men and a Truck for moving furniture in our home to different rooms and moving 2 pieces of furniture to our daughters home. They arrived during the time that was specified. They were friendly and polite, and knowledgeable about how to get furniture pieces through doorways. We were very pleased.

Best move I’ve ever had. Most professional group I’ve moved with and this was my fifth large move. The guys were professional and it was a touch of class that they were are in uniform, which added professionalism to my move. I will definitely be using them again.
