Love RAW fitness! This gym has been life changing for me. Having tried just about every gym/fitness regimen out there, RAW fitness finally provides a program that is sustainable. Schedules are flexible, so accountability can be maintained even when life is crazy. Trainers are consistently assessing form and reassessing fitness levels to ensure progress, so I always feel like Im making the best of my time. RAW fitness provides a welcoming, motivating (and yet somehow relaxing) environment. Plus the ZUMBA classes are AWESOME!

Raw Fitness is one of the best gyms around, and that is all thanks to Danny. Danny is passionate about what he does and the routines he creates. He and his staff listen to the input clients have to offer. Danny is flexible with scheduling, whether you like working out in the morning or night. He really tries to work with you and accommodates your schedule.

Danny is extremely knowledgable and a master at his craft! He gives you personalized workouts/rehab regimes based on your fitness level, abilities, and goals. Raw fitness is the best personal training experience that I have had in the greater Champaign area. Danny is experienced and extremely knowledgeable about fitness, nutrition, and stays up-to date on current practices and guidelines. His workouts are challenging but very doable and everything can be modified to your specific needs. The group workouts are fun, upbeat and everyone is welcoming. He has created an environment from the minute you step in on your first day you feel welcomed and encouraged to that post workout high that carries you through the day, and finally to that morning after soreness/burn that makes you want to go back for more! 100% Recommend Raw Fitness and training with Danny!

Raw fitness is AWESOME! Danny is passionate about fitness and you can see his passion in display through every aspect of the gym from his workouts, equipment, delivery method, etc. Hes is energetic, and challenges you each session. Hes always attentive, correcting your form when needed and ensuring you get the best burn from each move. I highly recommend group training sessions, Ive noticed results within a few weeks after joining, and have only gotten stronger since then.

I couldnt feel more thankful for finding Raw Fitness after I moved to Champaign. Joining this facility has truly transformed my life in more ways then I can explain, and I have found more motivation during my 3 months here then at any other facility Ive been too.The workouts Danny personally creates are challenging, effective and fun! But, Raw Fitness is so much more then just a location to come and complete a workout in. Danny goes above and beyond to make his members feel less like clients and more like family. Weather you are looking for a new community to join, a challenging workout, or just a change in pace I highly recommend joining Raw Fitness. 10/10 would recommend to a friend!!!

Raw Fitness is by far the best gym and personal training experience that I have had while in Champaign-Urbana. The gym is very clean and well-organized. Danny gives personal attention to all of his clients whether in group fitness or individual training. He is always fun, friendly, and prepared. I have never had better results. Im in my late-20s and have had experience with various athletic activities (weightlifting, tennis, crew, cross-country), and Ive nonetheless gotten a lot out of Dannys group training sessions. Hes both up-beat and knowledgeable and designs highly varied sessions that combines exercises with free weights, ropes, resistance bands, and platforms. The group sessions are intense but flexible --- hes willing to adapt exercises to individual needs, but always leaves room for improvement and increased intensity. I would highly recommend Raw Fitness.

Danny creates a new workout for each class so its never repetitive, and I feel motivated to come regularly to take on a new challenge. We use battle ropes, boxes, free weights, body weights, sleds, ladders, etc to keep things fresh and physically challenging. I LOVE how welcoming and supportive everyone is. People always greet one another, encourage each other to do more, and laugh through the pain together. Danny creates a very encouraging space, where I feel comfortable enough to ask for help with form or make mistakes while learning a new exercise (aka trying to balance, really). Ive tried a few different gyms since moving to the CU area a couple years ago, and I can say this is truly the best gym!

Great trainer and great atmosphere also is nice to be in a gym and not be so crowded! If you want to get fit for summer or keep healthy for the winter this is the place to go to.

Working out under Danny Iniguez in Raw Fitness Personal Training has been the best training experience. (1) Danny is an expert. He designs work out plans for every session and is able to demonstrate and explain the purpose of each exercise in the plan (2) In many cases, Danny has gone above and beyond. He has helped me take care of my parents by designing a workout plan just for them. He has also worked with my traveling schedule by giving me a set of exercises to do for the road. (3) Danny’s workout plans are effective. After only a few weeks of partnered training, my strength and conditioning improved dramatically. The effects are especially noticeable when doing chores and other routine tasks

Danny is an awesome trainer. He makes it a point to make each session tailored according to your needs and he will patiently work with you to meet these goals. The way he explains and demonstrates different exercises really proves how knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate he is about what he does. His charming/bubbly personality is a plus making each session more enjoyable than the previous. If you’re serious about your health and really want to see significant improvements but also want to have fun in the process then I highly recommend you go with Danny!

Love RAW Fitness! Danny is fabulous with teaching the kids technique so as not to cause injury. They work hard and have fun! My son has worked with Danny for 3 years now and he loved it. My husband and I also worked with him and it was great because you can have so many different abilities but still do the same workout.

A number of years ago, my wife had multiple surgeries which left her physically unable to keep up with many things, even simple housework. Over the last few years, the Raw Fitness program has helped her to recover her strength and stamina, and beyond.Raw Fitness is not what you want if youre looking to go for 10 minutes and leave. Danny provided us a great workout plan for our 12 and 10 year old kids who are both very active in rec and competitive sports. The strength and power gains our daughter has achieved in softball have been astonishing. She went from barely clearing the grass line to hitting the fence consistently!

Have started working with Danny. Thought a personal trainer would be good for me. Makes it hard enough, but not too. Im feeling motivated, which is important to me. He is in a new facility. A work in progress. Has a good variety of equipment. I feel much better, stronger, and more have increased endurance. Im losing weight even though my diet is not good. Thats my next step.

Raw Fitness is a great place to get in shape, have fun and train. If you you enjoy a fast pace work out then you will love the Raw Fitness training sessions. It is a combination of weight lifting, and cardio. If you are that type that likes to challenge yourself of gets motivated by competition then this is the right place for you. Danny will also tailor each session to you if you have any physical limitations and does everything he can to help keep you motivated during the workout.

The owner, Danny, is one of the best trainers I have ever worked with. Its too bad I dont live in town anymore, because I have never been in better shape or maintained better fitness in my life than training with him and at RAW fitness. He gets to know his clients and keeps people and wanting to come work out. His routines are clever and challenging. You wont feel out of place if youre out of shape, and hell know how to push you farther if you are.

Ive been going to Raw Fitness for about a year and a half including the group training sessions and the group fitness classes e.g. Zumba & Combat Cardio. Its worked really well for me as there are multiple available times to go and the small class size has kept me more accountable to show up for my scheduled times (people notice if youre not there!). The instructor, Danny, is very knowledgeable and encourages you to work at your own fitness level each day. I highly recommend for people looking to do strength training and/or group fitness!

Raw Fitness is the best fitness training experience Ive ever participated in. The clients are all extremely friendly and made me feel welcome and part of the RW family the first time we met. Danny is a tremendous trainer and makes every group workout feel like a personnel training session. He prioritizes quality over quantity, emphasizing and demonstrating proper form of each exercise prior to and during the workout. He excels at modifying any exercise to accommodate your experience, strength, and/or limitations including injuries. He provides documentation to easily track your progress through the 18 day (6 week) workout plan. The 6 week plan is challenging with plenty of variety to keep your muscles confused. Raw Fitness also offers Zumba and Combat Cardio classes. And he occasionally offers a Saturday morning class (at no additional cost) that is fun and completely different than anything we do in the 6 week plan. Several times throughout the year Danny offers a six week challenge using additional online tools and mobile apps to track your weight, various measurements and nutritional intake to kick start and optimize your weight loss and fitness journey. If you are seriously considering starting, or returning to, a regular workout routine I highly recommend joining us at Raw Fitness!

I cant recommend Raw Fitness enough! I moved three years ago and its still what I miss most about Champaign Urbana. I also model my strength training after everything I learned at Raw, because there is nothing else out there like it (trust me, I looked for months after I moved). If you want the motivation of working out in a group, but also the benefits of individual feedback, look no further. The workouts can be modified for any ability and fitness level. And if you want one-one-one training, they have that too! I also loved the focus on mobility and injury prevention, as well as assistance in learning correct technique to help with any current ailments. If you havent tried Raw Fitness, you are missing out!
