Last summer my front porch started to buckle. Freeman Construction had done work at my mothers house so I contacted them to do the repairs. The issues were more extensive than it first appeared and required an extensive reconstruction. Jerry kept me informed every step of the way and his workers were all professional. The finished product is beautiful! I get compliments on a regular basis.

I recently hired Freeman Construction due to a pipe freezing and bursting in the ceiling above my laundry room. The job was completed quickly, efficiently, and with a great finished product. The company owner was on site monitoring the work being done most of the time to ensure it was being done right, and cleaned up daily to ensure our living space was not interrupted.

Weve hired Jerry and his team at Freeman Construction of Champaign several different times. In two cases--once for a plumbing repair and once to remodel a bathroom--we didnt realize there was a problem. The repairs were in response to a home inspection and thus needed to be done quickly in order for us to sell a house. These repairs were then closely reviewed by the potential buyers and/or home inspector. In each case, Jerry provided prompt, high-quality service at a very reasonable price.

I can not recommend Jerry Freeman construction in good faith. He seemed friendly and professional at our first encounter but at the end of the job he had doubled my original estimate. I was not smart enough to realize what was going on until it was too late. I had two seperate neighbors approach me about his work ethic, One neighbor said he was not on the job most of the time but had his his partner do most of the work and when he was on the job he held up the tree alot Another neighbor reported he carried one brick at a time and although a wheelbarrow was available he never used it. Both neighbors concluded he was padding his hours I paid close to 20,000 for 11X 7 outside deck. I had another neighbor ask who did my deck and wanted Jerrys contact informtion after I told him the cost he said My god that is highway robbery you could have had an entire new addition to your home for that cost. Again, I can not recommend Jerry freeman construction. I am thankful for my wonderful neighbors who alerted me to the situation or i would never had realized what was going on. I only post this in hope that someone can benefit from this and will be very careful that all details are communicated in full prior to hiring him. Please ask for a log of all his hours performed daily. Please look over any contract that is presented to you and ask for a copy prior to any work being started and have a copy of the contract. i was not provided with a copy of contract the until the job was done.

Jerry Freeman construction doubled their original estimate without explanation or communication, They also gave me a list of hours including dates for feb 31st. This date is not possible . He threatened a construction lien when his hours were questioned I signed a contract and never received a copy until the job was completed . I asked for a copy several times. Overall, I was extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the professionalism of Jerry Freeman construction. My neighbors witnessed his work ethic and said he held up the tree a lot when he was on the job,
