I went in to get an inspection for a used car I was looking to buy, they told me my biggest problem was that I had a oil pan leak and a valve cover gasket leak and recommend I should repair it. After repairing it for around $1,000 I drove it home and bought the car, 45 mins later it had smoke coming from the back of the exhaust. I had it towed back to see what was wrong with it, they said it was a head gasket problem and that it would cost around $3,000 to repair it. After not going through with the repair they charge me $175 for the tow, I sent it to a to 2 different mechanics they told me my head gasket was fine, but that my engine was burning oil and needed a new engine. All this could have been avoided if they inspected my vehicle properly and thoroughly! Never get an inspection by these guys unless you want to have no money in your bank account!

I needed to give a review of the incredible service I receive from extreme auto this week. I was struggling with my 71 chev in finding a transmission leak. So I gave up and decided to take it to Extreme. They found the issue and resolved it. But the truck needed further maintenance, as it was burning oil too. Took car to dealer for service and mentioned there was a power steering hose leak. Decided to take it to Extreme. They fixed the hose but now the power steering pump has issues. Extreme said they didnt break it but at no point their mechanic nor the dealer mentioned the power steering pump was bad. Only the hose. Extreme refused to fix it and to make matters worse over filled the power steering reservoir. When I intended to drive the car home I heard the whinning noise and called the mechanic and said that it probably had air and possibly the pump. I told them that I didnt bring the car to them with that noise. Definetly will NEVER do business with this company and the car was not delivered on time as they promised. I have the picture to prove the reservoir was over the line.

I usually go to Jiffy Lube for oil changes and basic car maintenance. I am now a convert to Extreme Auto! The service was quick, the shop does not try to sell you unnecessary ad-ons and pricing very fair. They also offer a nice waiting area with desks to work or hang in the lounge while you wait.

Chad: I had you do a 45,000 maintenance on my 2017 Kia Sorento. You also did an oil change and repaired a splash guard. When I received the printout of your service it noted my reasons for bringing the car to you as well the service rendered. You found no problems with the car. I thank you. One thing that you and the other mechanics might want to incorporate on the statement is more information such as the condition of the brake discs in terms of wear. The car has 44,000 miles and I would like to know how close I am to needing new pads. Perhaps a note saying that the pads were 50% or such. I guess that I am just looking for some sort of narrative. Not necessary but I guess I am looking for some feedback. I have a service plan for my Audi at the dealership so yearly I take it to SLC. They send me, by way of an email, a video of the mechanic walking around my car and discussing its condition. Might want to talk with Justin about doing this. All in all you guys do a great job. Will continue my association with you.

I took a used Camry in for a pre-purchase inspection before I bought it. They gave me a really detailed report of each part of the vehicle and answered all my questions. The guy I schedule with (I think his name was Colton) was really accommodating when I had to change my appointment time at the last minute. 2 months later my car has not had any problems, so the inspection was definitely worth the $70.

They are our go-to for all our automotive care. Been using them for many years and now our grown kids take their cars there too. Great service, honest and done right or they will make it right. We even bring used cars to them to inspect before we buy. Love Justin and the Extreme team❣️

I have been a customer of extreme auto since 2012, and there is no shop that will work harder to keep their customers happy. I have had issues in the past but everything gets worked out if you have a problem or an issue, they want everything done right as much as you do.I have had lots of work done over the years, everything from an 82 steering column that needed to be rebuilt, with a motor that needed a tune up that has all the wrong parts, a 93 suburban with almost 300,000 miles that has had nearly everything done, and now my 95 4runner that needed a timing belt/water pump kit and heat control valves you guys did an amazing job on. Chad, richard, Justin, colton and all the awesome mechanics that work really hard in cold shop in the winter and a hot sweat shop garage in the summer. thanks to everyone else in there you guys are awesome and Im glad to see with all the buisnesses shutting down you guys are thriving and still working hard. We changed to Extreme Auto after the mechanic we used before missed some simple and major issues on our car causing us to break down in the middle of nowhere Idaho. We drive three cars suv, little car, teenage car. They treat us good with all of them. They have worked with us when the dealer over the suv messed up our car. They have helped us to know what might be warrantied and needs to go to the dealer and what is not. They help us keep the newer cars running well and up on maintenance without over selling and the teenage car they are good about helping us keep it running without treating us like it is junk. They also have a shuttle so I’m not always trying to wait for another driver in my house to take me there to drop off or pick up. They always are thorough and good at letting me know what is and isn’t a priority. They even helped us decide after my daughter got in a wreck if the car was worth having it fixed up or needed to be junked for a new one.

I took my GMC Acadia here for the first time and received amazing service right from the start. Ryan called me a few hours later and talked to me about the repairs that my car needed. They also sent a text message link to a website which showed a list of everything they found needed to be fixed or was concerning and there were pictures attached which showed everything that they had suggested be fixed. He spent about 20 minutes on the phone with me talking about which of the things should be fixed sooner than others and which were just things to keep an eye on. Having the photos to look at as we talked was really nice and made me feel like they were 100% honest. They were able to fix everything and called me the next day to let me know it was ready. My car has never driven better. I would highly recommend Extreme Auto Service and Ill definitely be going back.

If I could give 10 stars I would! We had a few experiences that I can’t say enough good things about. They diagnosed a problem with a new vehicle we bought within 10min and it took another mechanic (once we returned it to the dealership) 2 weeks to figure it out even though we had told them what Extreme Auto had already discovered. Its not very often you find a place with honesty and integrity. I dealt with a guy by the name of Richard at the front desk. Very knowledgeable and very understanding of my situation. I have found a repair shop that I will use for the rest of my life. I found a repair shop that I will recommend to anybody and everybody. These people dont take advantage of the situation but instead give you the greatest gift that one can give. They educate you on your problems that youre having. I know not many people take the time out of making money to explain whats going on. In my preview experience with other auto repair facilities most people are just another number and another car in and out of the doors. Not this company! This is a company that you can trust with a great staff! Thank you for helping me get my wifes car fixed and her back on the road with my family. Alternator went out just a few miles from their shop, and this was the shop my insurance dictated. They were quick, professional, and friendly. It was really inconvenient, but it could have been a lot worse and they made it a minor inconvenience. Thats my only experience with them, but it was good.

My clunker with 277,000 miles broke down on my morning commute. I decided to have Extreme Auto Service take a look at it to see if it was time for me to donate it to Kidney Kars or something. Im happy to say that these folks were great to work with and got my clunker back in working order quickly and for a reasonable price. Now I can reach my goal of 300,000 miles -- or a 2021 RAV/4 Prime whichever comes first!

They perform the service requested that the car needs without pressure to do high-priced repairs that arent necessary. I believe they are very trustworthy. They also stand by their work.I often know what is wrong with my car and exactly what service and repairs need to be performed before I take it to a shop. Every time, Extreme Auto has recommended the same items I had already identified and did them at reasonable prices. When I am really stumped, they are able to diagnose and repair the problem.When I first came here I was a bit skeptical of the veracity of the reviews when I saw how many positive ones there were. I have been to places in the past that give perks and discounts for 5 star reviews. This place isnt one of them. These reviews are real. This place is great.

This repair shop is the best I have been to in years! They are honest, do excellent work, and treat you like youd like to be treated. The information they gave me over text (with a link to a web page) had detailed information about everything they checked on my car. It was straight forward and easy to understand. They were on time with their service, done when they said they would be and there were no surprises with the price, it was exactly as they said it would be. Unlike many other automative repair places, they do not try to push new parts that your car does not need. Justin and his guys are very good at just recommending what is needed. Awesome customer service and mechanics. I have had pleasing experiences here a few times, but most recently, I dropped off my car at closing time with a dead battery. Chad was very nice and told me right away after looking up my info that my battery was still under warranty and if that was indeed the only problem then it would be replaced at no charge. Chad called me the next day and told me my car was ready to go, warranty honored, battery replaced, no charge. He didnt try to sell me any other service or repair. That kind of honesty combined with their obvious mechanic expertise has been very refreshing for me. You will not regret getting your car serviced and repaired here.

Don’t waste your time here, I made the mistake of coming in at around lunch time, it was crowded and one guy at the counter of course he was frustrated and seemed to be taking it out on the the guy in front of me. So I left and went to a different shop. I’ll tell you it sure is hard to find a good repair shop anymore!! The one I did go to is great! Not to far up the road either I think a couple Bros. Own it. I have always been skeptical of using small repair shops because I feel that they always try to screw you over and make you try to fix things when they don’t really need to be fixed. I have worked a lot with Richard and he has been phenomenal. He is very honest and straightforward with me about what needs to be done now and then things that can wait until later. Prices seem to be fair and usually less expensive than the competitors. I have and will continue to refer people to them.

I have reviewed a few Auto places in the past, some good some not so good. In all my experience with Auto repair (which is sadly too much with an older truck) I have not been as happy as I am with Extreme Auto. They are honest, professional, and know their stuff. We had to put a new engine in our 7.3L and Extreme did it for us at the best price possible, and with best best quality as well. We are Extreme customers for life.

The staff here are friendly and knowledgeable. This is the only place I take my vehicles for service anymore. They include a inspection list of items that need attention or to be watched that are rated based on severity. Ive never felt pressured by it. And when I ask about items on the list, I get honest answers about if it actually NEEDS to be done and if so, when it needs to get done. I drive a lot for work, this crew has kept my truck on the road without incident from 100k to well over 200k in the last couple years.

I was phone shopping around, I talked with Tony he was really rude and short with me. I just had a few questions about there warranties they offer because I had seen them in there reviews, he acted like he didn’t have time and was rude as h**l I did find another shop that was around the same price that I was able to get good information from. I’ll be spending my money there. I wouldn’t shop here until new management is hired.

These guys are friendly, courteous and know their stuff. All the typical buzz words but for real. I had a full AC replacement that failed. They promptly replaced it under warranty and gave me a nice loaner car to boot.

Extreme Auto really is an EXTREME place. Thorough service/extremely expensive prices. Sure, they do a good job, but I found a place that quoted me at HALF the price of these guys. But when they work on your car your engine practically gleams and they offer extra services like a shuttle service to ferry you around in, coffee and juice. But trust me, you pay for those extras. Also, the guys that work there are extremely hot.

Cant speak highly enough of the crew here. Theyve taken care of a lot of my vehicles over the last 5 years. Other mechanics would recommend intensive fixes and theyd narrow it down to something much more affordable and the car still runs great. I dont a trust another mechanic as fully as these guys.

The work and prices were ok. They lost my electronic keys, my apartment key and my mail key. It cost me 150 to replace apartment key and mail key. They only replaced the car keys with two regular keys instead of the key fob that they lost. I can no longer open my door remotely which is a huge inconvenience!! They offered no further resolution when I expressed my displeasure with their resolution. I feel ripped off and that they have no concern for their customers. Im out hundreds of dollars for something they should have taken responsibility for! My cousin is an attorney and suggests I sue them. Still considering. It was a nightmare Im reminded of every time I drive my car. Such BS!

Took my car here after being super stressed out with it over spark plugs and wires and my car getting worse with new wires and found out the wires recommended to me were junk and messed up my ignition coil now my check engine light is off and my car is running good again and my stress has been relieved. they were great dropped my car off in the morning and got it back around 5 pm. im very happy with the service i received Richard was very nice and worked with me on letting me know everything that was wrong and needed to be fixed worked with my warranty and even sent me a video of proof that the wires were not good. thank you so much!

Extreme Auto is the best shop in the state. Every problem I have had with my car they have taken car of me and been cheaper by about 10% then anywhere else. Every employee there is great and does everything they can do to help you out.
