I absolutely love my new apartment, and the cherry on top includes a wonderful property management company! As a renter, one can often feel like an incidental. New Age Real Estate gives you the feeling that they are actually excited for you, making you feel welcome and at home right off the bat. From my first contact with Dillon Brook, regarding the listing, to working with Leah Collins regarding all the rental details, I have received nothing but exceptional, first-class service. Leah’s clear, friendly, and relaxed yet straightforward communication style made the rental process easy and seamless. Any questions I had were always answered promptly and courteously. When looking over the lease, I ended up having several questions, and Leah patiently, kindly, and thoroughly addressed each one of my concerns, ultimately putting me at ease. Even moving in on a Sunday, Dillon made himself available to help walk me through the lock-box process and conveyed his excitement for me. Once I moved in, Leah was on top of any maintenance concerns or issues I had, addressing each one quickly, sending out some of the nicest maintenance folks, and continuing to touch base along the way until completely resolved. I couldn’t be happier with my new place, and New Age Real Estate has a lot to do with it!

First time homebuyer, but this will not be the last time I work with ERA New Age!Daren was professional, patient and knowledgeable. He made the daunting task of buying a home quick (as these things can go!) and simple to understand.I should preface this review with the fact that I was unsure home ownership was achievable or even right for me. When I realized I was paying a mortgage payment as rent every month, I decided it was time to take the leap! Denver is not an easy market to purchase in. The competition is high for every property. I had a wonderful experience as a tenant with New Age and the entire team but particularly Krista- she was incredibly responsive. In my move in condition report I mentioned some items that I figured were just wear and tear from rentals and had no expectations of them fixing, but to my surprise they sent maintenance to fix EVERYTHING the same week. We had some unique situations as our timing as renters and they were incredibly fair and reasonable in their handling of everything. As someone who used to work in property management I would highly recommend this agency to renters and homeowners alike.

Rented from here was fine, but within the first 2 weeks I moved in had no heater of any kind in the middle of a Colorado winter. They never came to fix the AC I mentioned needed repaired. Went through 2 building managers before one was professional. However they will nickle and dime you for every cent, with a move in and move out fee, a deep cleaning fee regardless of how well you clean the place. I have never not received a full security deposit. Along with how they enjoy not sending your security deposit back or whats left of it on the last legal day they have to. I felt they would not have given me it back at all had id not been pestering them the entire 60 days. Do not rent from here unless you like to get a fraction of what you paid back regardless of how well you do as a tenant.

My wife and I have owned multi-family properties in Denver and elsewhere for many years. As out of state owners we have struggled to find a property manager who is ethical, honest, and truly works in our best interest. After three unsatisfactory business relationships, we found Terrence Lennon at New Age Real Estate and started working with him in May 2019.Terrence is very experienced and highly skilled as a property manager. He is an excellent communicator, and carefully filters everything I need to know about how our buildings are performing. Terrence is very conscious and skilled in sourcing high quality and cost effective solutions in all operational areas including repairs, maintenance and capital improvements, as well as security, safety and the well being of our tenants.We are very happy with the New Age Real Estate owner online portal which enables maintenance requests, billing, income and expenditures to be viewed and monitored in real time, and ensures cost effectiveness, transparency and the easy and efficient preparation of tax returns.I have no reservations is strongly recommending NewAge Real Estate as a property management company in general, and our property manager, Terrence Lennon in particular. Top to bottom, a wonderful company to work with. We specifically worked with Shelby Foster on the recent sale of our home. She was far more dynamic than we could have predicted. She knows the market, outworks everyone, extremely organized and came prepared with a game plan to hit the market and run. Any questions, items, needs that came up, she was the first to respond and always had advice to help steer us.Ive sold several homes in my life. This was the first time I felt that the broker outworked everyone. Which says a lot because its truly a sellers market. Shelby did all the heavy lifting and made this a seamless process for us as we get ready to move our family across the country. My only regret is that I dont have another home for Shelby to sell for me.

Yikes! Will TRY to charge you with any extra fee they can so be careful. Very happy I got out of their lease via subletting.Leah is extremely rude and will try to provide as little help for you as possible. Prepare yourself for some unpleasant emails.Didn’t even have proper keys to our unit. Made us make copies and bring to their office.Will try to up rent every year.Unprofessional and rude.

I have been extremely satisfied with New Age as my property manager. Ive been renting for 20 years and have worked with a lot of different property management companies and New Age is by far the most responsive, attentive, and professional company Ive ever worked with. From submitting an application, to moving in, to ongoing service and maintenance, the New Age team has exceeded my expectations. Whenever Ive had any sort of issue (my current home is an older home and of course has some normal wear and tear issues that come up), the service request has been responded to almost immediately and is usually resolved on the very same day. I feel like the whole team genuinely does care about the safety, wellbeing, and satisfaction of their tenants, which is not always the case with property managers (my last one in particular basically didnt care about anything going wrong in the home, so long as they had my rent check on time- I went for 62 days without any hot water in my last home, just as one example of the struggles I had). I purposefully sought out a new property management company when I moved last year and am so happy to have landed with New Age. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to rent a home!

Shelby Foster, the VP of Business Development and a Broker Associate at ERA New Age, truly deserves the 5-star review based on my experience with her for the selling of a condo in the Denver area.  Her skill sets were shown in many areas of the sale process.   I was a remote owner, and she managed the entire process for getting the unit ready for sale.  This included getting multiple quotes for carpeting, flooring and painting, and then working with the various firms and contractors to get the jobs done.  She provided solid input when determining the asking price, and her listing pictures were well done.  Once an offer was made, she handled all aspects of the sales in a very professional manner.  For all points of negotiation (buyer credits for inspections, etc.) she offered multiple options I could try, and would accurately judge which one the buyer would accept.  She was always available for any questions and concerns I had.   I would highly recommend her for anyone buying or selling a home.

Update,Leah gave me a credit on my account for the $150 in exchange for me changing my google review.I’m so disappointed.I moved into my townhome managed by Leah at New Age. The previous tenant lived here for several years before I moved in a couple of months ago. Several work orders needed completed within the first two weeks of occupancy which I understood. However, the washing machine stopped working and I submitted a work order. After five days of no communication, I contacted Leah who apologized and gave me the direct number to a plumber to contact him myself. I was very frustrated at this point as a tenant to have to contact the plumber myself but, I did it. It was eleven days before my washer was fixed. Then, what REALLY set me over the edge was when two of our bathrooms had no hot water and two had no cold water. I, again, put in a maintenance request. A plumber came in and forcefully twisted the knobs 360 degrees three times as he was confused as well. He eventually got the water working by fiddling with the knobs. However, New Age charged me for the $150 plumbing because there wasn’t a plumbing leak???? Never would I ever call a plumber to come to my home if there was a problem I could solve myself, especially in the middle of a contagious pandemic. After contacting Leah about the charges she said she would get back with me. After five days of again no communication she said “Sorry. After speaking with my management team you are responsible for the maintenance order.”Don’t live here. Buy your own house for the cost of rent and don’t be surprised if you have to pay for your own maintenance.

Renters beware. Met with Dillon on july 3rd before the property had been repaired after the previous tenant had moved out. I liked the layout and Dillon assured me that the property would be turned and all the needed repairs, maintenance and landscaping would be done before my move in. Went to pick up my keys and there were outlets with no covers. Holes in the wall. Rusted drip pans on the stove. The black sink and tub were so dilapidated that they had a strange white stain in both of them. The back yard had large 2-3 wholes in the dirt from the previous tenants dog. Overall the property was not in a clean sanitary livable condition without further repairs. They stated it would take 30 days to refund my deposit even tho they broke their own contract. I do not recommend moving into one of their properties especially during the pandemic. This company does not keep to their words and they have only made things more difficult for me as now Im without a place to live cause of this company. Shame on them

I very rarely write any review but I had a truly undesirable experience working with this company. We were the first to call and submit an application for a rental property from a Zillow listing. The property itself was a good fit and we made sure that we submitted all documentation as quickly as possible and lined up the first showing to view the property. The first indication of unprofessionalism came when the ad clearly stated that the listing was available as a 6, 12, or 18 month lease term. We had already spoken with the listing agent and agreed that 12 months would be the best term for us and they said this wasnt a problem. Once we submitted an application to get preapproved, they quickly called us to say that they would only agree to a 18 month agreement. This wasnt an issue for us so we agreed to the first showing available and provided our pay stubs within the hour.After viewing the property and getting approved on all the necessary prequalifications, we were told by the showing agent that we are in a good spot and that we would get the property. An hour later the actual property manager gave me a call to let me know that the person that had shown us the house had no decision making power and it came down to them. They went on to tell me that they had received an unsolicited offer to pay 200 dollars higher for the monthly rental payments and that they had also shown the property to this perspective renter. When pressed that this is a slippery slope they said that they didnt even need to make this call and they are basically doing us a favor. I have been renting in Colorado for over 7 years and have never been pushed into a bidding war to rent a property. Its completely understandable that the property owner would want to make more money over the rental period so we agreed to also pay that amount to secure the property. At this point, we were told that all of the credentials are too close to call and this would need to go to the owner so they could make a decision.In the end there is nothing we expect or hope to rectify. If you are the first to contact a property and meet all of the necessary credentials, you should be the one to live there. This is without taking into account that we agreed to pay a higher price and accept a longer rental term to meet their demands. The property owner does reserve the right to choose the renter at their discretion and that is not the issue here. The issue is that this company is the representative of the owner and they acted in a shady and unprofessional manner on their side of the deal.

The New Age Property Management team was courteous, respectful, and very responsive. I rented this property with my three daughters for 7 years through three property management companies with the same landlord. New Age team was the most professional and fastest in their responses. In addition, while leaving the property they were very clear in their expectations of me as well as fair regarding normal wear and tear. I received 100% of my security deposit back. Although we took care of this property as if it was our home, three teenagers can be rough on a home.

UPDATE: Shortly after posting this review, management reached out to us to rectify our issue and address the unprofessional behavior of their employee. We appreciate the promptness and professionalism of their company in making the situation right. It sounds like they will do their best to ensure this situation does not occur with future tenants.—PREVIOUS REVIEW:DO NOT RENT PROPERTIES MANAGED BY THIS PREDATORY COMPANY. We have been renting for 15 years and never experienced such predatory practices. We were model tenants and left the apartment cleaner than any other apartment we’ve ever lived in. We did everything on their MULTIPLE cleaning checklists including WASHING THE FREAKING LIGHTBULBS. They still found every possible way to nickel and dime us out out of half of our security deposit, including charging us $55/hour to clean things we already cleaned or to clean things that weren’t on their checklists, routine wear and tear (paint touch ups) and the gas for their maintenance guy. Also, we were told during our lease that we could not hire our own carpet cleaners and the cost of carpet cleaning would be deducted from our security deposit. After our lease ended, they sent a message indicating they assumed we’d had the carpets cleaned already. We were honest that they hadn’t been cleaned because they said they had to do it. Now I wish we had done it ourselves. Getting them cleaned ourselves would have saved us quite a bit as they charged us $212 for a 900 sf apartment.Our main contact was not very professional throughout the duration of the lease. He emailed and texted us messages meant for other people on multiple occasions. Our last month in the apartment he never contacted us once on what the move-out procedure was or offered to do a final walk-through. Not knowing what else to do, we left the keys in the apartment on the last day and texted him that we’d moved out. He didn’t contact us until the day after our lease ended. Now I know why! It was so he could find hundreds of dollars worth of issues with the apartment to deduct from our security deposit after it was too late for us to do anything about it. It’s clear now they intended to hire their expensive professional cleaners on our dime regardless of how well we cleaned.I’ve never not received my full security deposit back after 15 years of renting. Do not rent from New Age Realty unless they’re fine with them spending your security deposit on expensive professional cleaners. They do not treat good tenants with respect and I’m glad to be done with them.

I have changed my review. The actual owner of the company called me yesterday. He was kind and he was sincere and he had integrity. They are returning all my moneys. I am grateful for that. The only thing Im out is a lot of energy and a lot of stress. Dollars spent for paint, cleaning and paying for moving out by moving company. These bad reviews about this company not returning security deposits has me shook now! Tenants are cleaning their units, leaving them in great condition & still not getting their deposit back!? 😳 that’s not good to know at all! Especially considering the extremely high amounts and the fact that you don’t know what’s in the lease b4 they ask for so much cash like that! #SCARY I was so interested but now I’m terrified because I know I’m an excellent tenant and I have very nice things! As a long time renter this is by far the best company Ive ever dealt with; Ive been a customer/renter of theirs for over 5 years. Angela (property manager) is great to work with and everyone is very attentive. Once I put a maintenance request in online at 9pm regarding my garage door and 15 minutes later the garage door company was on the phone with me. They always communicate about any inspections 24 hours in advance, and do regular safety inspections for smoke and CO2 detectors.Ive recommended them to friends looking to rent out their houses and have gotten good reviews from them as well.

I worked with Shelby and Tia, and right from the get-go, I knew they would have a successful session. They were extremely responsive and made sure their teammates were ready for each time slot (seriously they didnt miss a beat) and more importantly everyone enjoyed themselves (there was a lot of laughter and pure happiness). After a really bad experience with another property management company a friend of a friend recommend the ERA New Age Property Management team. I have worked with New Age and Anne Kremer for several years now without a single complaint. Im typically extremely critical and I literally dont have a single negative thing to say about them. Im an accidental landlord and I dont have a big income producing property, yet Anne Kremer still treats me like a premier client. Immediate response to my questions, immediate response to tenant/property issues, and she keeps my place rented with quality tenants. What can you ask for? Do not hesitate to hire them.

BEWARE! This place is a joke! We had applied for one of the properties and were approved before even touring the property. After visiting, we were told they would repaint and lay new carpet before we moved in due to the condition the previous tenants left it in. We liked the neighborhood and were excited to have the place “in like-new conditions” as promised so we decided to go through with leasing the property. This was back in early March. Full disclosure: we are a family of two with a lovely 4 year old boxer. They were all over us in the beginning, wanting to get the ball rolling, getting our security deposit and pet deposit within 24 hours of our commitment. We paid our full deposit within 12 hrs. From this point on things started to change. I didn’t hear from the agent or company for almost a week before she sent over the lease agreement. Our move in date was flexible so when talking about pushing it back to allow them more time for repairs on the home the agent told us the owners needed us in by 4/8. She then called me back later and said they could possibly move it back since they had quite a bit of work to do and said to hold off on signing the lease until they had a set date. Fast forward to this past Tuesday 4/2 just six days away from our move in date. The agent called and told me the owners changed their mind and would not rent to us because we had a dog and they planned on replacing the carpet. 6 days away! She said the owners experience with the previous tenants was not great due to the amount of damage done to the property. Not our fault. We offered to pay an additional fee as we have a well behaved dog and already set up movers. She asked that I provide a reference letter from my current landlord and a letter from our vet, both of which I was happy to provide. Just 4 hours later she sent me a pathetic email stating they would not rent to us because of our dog. They then avoided my calls for the next two days, I have made multiple attempts to get in contact with Darin the president of this company to get our security deposit and talk about our experience but he has yet to call me. Both the leasing agent and the receptionist have promised he would call us back but clearly they do not care. Since Tuesday, they have put the house back on the market and now asking for a higher rent. Are you kidding me? Give us our money back! Terrible customer service experience. Thank you for showing your true colors early on, I’d hate to deal with such a poor management company for the next year.

Our experience with Ann Kremer and Melanie Stoner was AMAZING from start to finish! In fact, from scheduling the initial viewing, the actual visit to the home, all the way to the move-in, and move-out it was smooth.Our rental market has been a disaster since the boom, filled with rental listings where owners and unprofessional management companies were charging numerous people for application fees at the same time, many times those fees were charged even after a listing was rented. This was not the case with ERA New Age. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised to find out each property was offered on a first come, first serve basis, and once you apply for a rental, your application is processed in full. IF and ONLY IF you dont qualify do they move on to the next applicant in line. How refreshing!Ann is professional and was very responsive throughout our stay. Their maintenance team was always accommodating and able to make the necessary repairs upon arrival. I would absolutely rent from them again. Happy renting!

Leah could not have been more helpful with my relocation back to Denver after living abroad in Shanghai for a brief period of time. She helped me find the perfect rental and had the keys waiting for me before my plane even touched down. In an odd turn of events, I was having scheduled maintenance done in my rental and I had to leave my dog June in the backyard for a brief period of time.. In that time frame she managed to injure her paw and Leah went above and beyond bringing June straight to Animal Urgent Care. Angela was absolutely terrible to work with. In the beginning, after we had submitted our rental application we were told the monthly rent went up $50 from what we had anticipated. This should have been a sign to get the hell out of there, but we needed a place live, FAST. Within the first 3 months of living in our new condo, we noticed things were not workingproperly, the carpet needed replacement, and mold was growing throughout the entire unit, including the window seals of my son’s bedroom! We had asked for things to get repaired, only to be told by Angela that these issues are our own faults and they are not responsible. We continued to contact Angela and New Age about the increasing mold and for the entire year we were there, nothing wasbeing done to eliminate it. Angela’s response time is incredibly slow. It normally takes her weeks to respond to emails and NEVER return phone calls.  Fast forward to our move-out date, we had a list of things to clean in order to receive our deposit, after cleaning theentire place we were told that there has been deductions made from our deposit with things that were NOT on the list in the first place! We ended up receiving less than half our deposit back, which we gladly took so we wouldn’t have to deal with Angela anymore. I will neverrecommend New Age Real Estate and will definitely let people know to stay asfar away from Angela as possible.

By far the worst rental experience of my life. Angie was a nightmare to deal with, not returning our phone calls, not competing work orders, and being very aggressive when we try to communicate with her. Basically zero customer service. Im in real estate so I have worked with many property managers, all insanely better. We left the apartment spotless, found a tenant to replace us when we left, and even brought get a Starbucks gift card after moving in. Didnt prevent us from being a nuance to her. I cant speak for the rest of the company, but shes terrible.

What I like most about living here, is the location and the landlord Representative, Terrence. He is always available and responds to calls and texts and emails when I and we (the complex needs him...even when he is out of town on vacation and sick). The trash is picked up at least 6 days a week. There is a lot of trash, but I like that its picked up almost every day. Neighbors are friendly, mail is delivered promptly, parking can be challenging...but I have found its not too bad after all, But dont have a party...and dont park accross the lot in Ivy Hill,,,you will be towed!So far, its been great these past 3 months...Thanks to property management.

Im a current tenant and enjoy working directly with Terence. He makes sure that as tenants, we are comfortable...early this year, when my husband and I were informed that we could buy a house, terence came through for us with each home that we looked at. His proffesionalism and immediate actions made my home search easy. However due to lending under writings, the home we work hard to get under contract was let go. Nevertheless, although we have to wait for 1 or 2 years before house hunting again, I will definitely give Terence and his company a call to help my husband and I for our next home buying journey. I moved out of my apartment, and my deposit was not returned because of a strong urine smell. My dog has been house trained since she was months old, and never once went in the apartment. I emailed, and never heard back. I felt like my money was stolen from me!

We applied for a house last Wednesday. Credit check were completed by Friday. It’s now Thursday the following week. I have to be out of my current place in a week. Would be great if the people at this company actually returned phone calls and texts. Especially when it comes to having a home to live in, and becoming homeless because a company didn’t have the courtesy to contact us in a timely manner. To let us know either way.

I thoroughly interviewed over 5 property management companies in a pinch to move out of my previous residence. Anne Kremer came to the property to do a no-cost rental analysis. I ended up going with them as they were the most professional property management company for the right price. While they of course wanted my business they were not pestering and let their reputation speak for themselves. I was referred to them by Nova Home Loans. In about 7 months with them I have been pleased. I know they do their job right as I have almost forgot about the property. Melanie Stoner and Anne Kremer handle my questions or requests in a timely manner and act on my behalf.
