Can’t say enough good things about Eric and his skills as an instructor. Having been a martial artist myself for close to 40 years and an instructor, I began training in Martial Blade Concepts (MBC) in 2017 and look forward to class every week. The classes are well structured, thorough and always have an end goal. Classes are taught in an informal setting but always in a professional manner, and we have fun doing it. For me there is a lot of value when you can show up for class in street clothes and execute any of the techniques shown. If you’re considering taking a class from Eric don’t hesitate, just show up and see for yourself. This system is phenomenal and you’ll be training under one of the top instructors in the MBC organization.
Great instruction on practical self defense! Instructor teaches techniques in an easy to understand format. Techniques and training is adapted to the students needs around injuries and capabilities. Teachers and students are friendly and always open to asking why. Best instruction Ive ever experienced!
Great place to learn self defense as a beginner and if you want to get better at the skill. Eric is a great instructor to top it off 😊
Great self defense training and mixed martial arts by some great instructors. Not traditional MMA where you spend hours on the ground or another specific style that makes you think in one direction. You receive training in Hapkido, and other self defense methods in several others types of training in striking, blocking, joint locks, throws, defense against wrestling attacks or common type of attacks. You also learn how to do these types of attacks and counter attacks. I you are interested in a hybrid form of Hapkido (a martial art), that integrates other systems, this is the school for you. Our system uses Hapkido that is a mix of 4 martial arts, then mixes some others, but your black belt will be internationally recognized if thats your goal to achieve a black belt. The training starts at a good pace as well. I tied several other MA schools with plenty of enrollment gimmicks before staying here. With my prior martial arts background I did not want to settle on this or that, but was looking for this, that and the other training.I really liked that I could try two weeks of classes before deciding to join. This made it easier to determine whether or not it was worth staying or moving on. Other schools give you a class, then the high pressure sales immediately begin or maybe a couple classes, before trying to enroll you. That is not enough time to make a decision for your needs. Our school lets you try out the classes and then you can decide to join. Nick
Best system and the best teacher.
