First time here. Wedding reception with friends. Clean, good wait staff at tables. Buffet food was good. Cake very good. No coffee or tea, not even with dessert. Room was attractive with chair covers. Noisy, but lots of people having a good time. 🙂 would likely check it out if I lived in the area & needed banquet facilities.

This is a nice place to have a wedding reception or large meeting area. Its just off of Grand Lake St. Marys, although with no real view of the lake, and situated in the parking lot of the Villa Hotels.It has a nice lobby area, and rather large room with only one bar situated in a far corner. The restrooms are nice. What is really nice about this space is the spacious patoi out back by the fountain! Theres a few picnic tables and benches and its lit very nicely. you could almost hold an event outside here its that big and pretty looking.The inside is your standard reception hall. harsh lights, pretty walls, dance floor in the middle. A rather large space to accomodate quests. The food is pretty decent as well and looks like its made on site.

We had a medium sized party of 60.Starting with the salad. Wilted and brown iceburg and spinach mixed.The dryest most over cooked salmon .Prime rib with no horseradish sauce. After all the guests complained they brought out some A1 and mustard. This was by far the worst meal I have ever had in my life. It was on New Years Eve and everyone was starving afterward.The staff tried to say it was because we took a few pictures delaying the dinner...are you kidding me.Take it out of the oven, wrap it in foil and set it on sterno.Terrible. I think most people are afraid to comment for looking bad to our relatives but this place is the worst.
