Store layout is the brick&mortar equivalent of a hash table (for anyone with a computer science background), i.e. seemingly random based on an organizational scheme Im not privy to.But the self checkout feature in the app is amazing. Line? What line? Scan on your own and go straight to the door. Whee!!

Dont EVER use the chat service. I had a question in regards to a return which I had advised in the chat ill return in store. Nope sent me a tracking number to print didnt catch it till I got to the store. I have called customer care 3 times, 1st time to be hung up on. Second, I was advised that they refund was canceled and I can return to the store. Ha joke is on me I for they are still unable to return it. This has been a nightmare for a 37 dollar order. I am about to cancel my membership and switch to Costco. Just be aware.

I came in today to purchase an iPhone 11 Pro Max for my son for Christmas and was told they have no one servicing the phone department, and have not since October. We were told we should have called to see if they even had the department up and running. When I notified them we were in visiting from Detroit, they told us it was our fault for not calling even though I had already checked the store hours. It is two days before Christmas and apparently Sams wants nothing to do with selling merchandise. To say we are disappointed is beyond the truth. After requesting multiple times to speak to the manager, Faith. We found out she was refusing to speak with us and was hiding from us. She was forcing her employees to relay messages for her as opposed to doing the job she was hired to do. It was quite shocking to find out a member of the management team was leaving her subordinates out to dry while she shielded herself from upset customers.Update: Best Buy in Coralville was more than eager to sell us the phone we originally came here to purchase. Our experience there was wonderful and we are so thankful we had the horrendous experience here which lead us to the fantastic experience there! Thanks Sams Club and Faith!

Love the prices but consistency is key, kids! Hate depending on stock, get to Sams with that 1 thing on my list that ONLY Sams has, to find out they discontinued that brand or product. Thats my only issue. Well, that and itd be nice to have 2 hrs at the END of the day for Plus members - thatd be perfect!Watch the rewards for plus members, too. Plus membership is 100% worth it for those rewards, earlier shopping times than regular members, and the bonus amount after 1 year is perfect!! 👍Keep it up.

I went to get perfume aisle and I waited there for 15min and this guy with green vest I asked him if someone could help me and he just keep saying I’ll send some, him and there were other two Ladies helping one customer, how hard is it one person out of three of you open the perfume door and make your guest happy! This is really unacceptable and unprofessional, he shouldn’t get to that level with that kind of behavior.He wasted my time and the way he respond wasn’t right, guests shouldn’t be treated that way they should be respected.

First time in a Sams Club as a customer. It was a great experience. I liked the variety of products and services. I enjoyed how friendly the staff was, and I liked the ease of flow of the merchandise and foot traffic. I only wish I had more time to shop.

It was alright was there for a customized cake but they dont do those. In general everything else looks alright.

I found all I was after plus more. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful.

This is the weekend before Thanksgiving. Sams Club was packed with people but everyone appeared to be courteous and maintain proper social distancing. The line to check out or long but the people were efficient in getting everyone through. Everyone took their time and stayed an appropriate six feet apart. Every time I go to Sams Club I always end up buying more than I expected.

This place is pretty big so its got a good selection of things to choose from. Great place for buying things in bulk.

Nothing fancy just pretty good prices to offset the membership annual fee.

The cashier went out of her way to help me I appreciate it.

Shopping in the morning is good if you can get away to do it. Was only out of a few things but a good experience over all. Love the Sams club app! Was able to scan my stuff and pay without going through the checkout line. ❤

Auto renewed my membership without my knowledge and refused to refund my card the$45 membership fee. The best they could do was send me a gift card. Im not impressed.

Wasnt overly crowded. Most were wearing masks. Was nice to find disinfecting wipes in stock even if it was the Members Mark brand. Must have missed scanning an item so had to go through the self check out a 2nd time. Appreciated they didnt make me feel like a criminal.

About half the employees wearing masks not covering their noses, many customers doing the same. Layout of store is odd, random pallets left on middle of aisles, and the aisles are often not big enough to allow 2 carts through. Costco is a significantly better experience.

I always have a pleasant surprise with new and unique products, and the employees are very helpful and actually come across as enjoying their job. Keep up the great job, God Bless anyone reading my comment.

Have a car battery still under warranty from Sams Club that went bad. Took it in to exchange under warranty and was told: They dont have a replacement, they cant order a replacement, they dont know when they will get any in from regular shipments, and they cant refund it so that I can just go buy a new one. So, you only honor warranties when its convenient for you? Dont buy batteries from Sams Club.

Probably thousands of customers was allowed to enter today - Saturday. Management dont follows anti Covid-19 epidemic protection of customers how suppose to be. Looks that selling is more important than the human life for them.

Ive been coming here for years with my parents long enough to know that it offers a great and reliable shopping experience for most, if not all the time.

Always find what Im looking for and more.. My great granddaughter will Love the unicorn I just got....at an awesome price.....

I like the fact that there wasnt a lot of people. I can move around pretty quick and get what I want and get out.

Definitely has gone downhill from even just a few years ago. Prices not as competitive & many products are no longer available.

The chicken tenderloins were not stocked. The cashier was distracted by her smart watch and we had to reach over to get our receipt.

Sams is great. I spent way to much money. LolMy only complaint is, I wish they had more cashiers. The lines were super long.

The store is very clean and the associates are really nice. If you have an item that is marked down with a yellow sticker you can still do the self checkout and they will come over and enter it for you. Great place to get all the things you need for a large family or small business.

Not enough cashiers, you know. The paid kind, included in the membership and prices. (Disabled shopper) as well, food court hardly ever open.

Amazing! My mom used to take me here as a kid and it brings back so many good memories. The restaurant here serves AMAZING Breadsticks and Pizza! They also have a great variety of drinks to choose from! Overall, this place is amazing!

Many empty areas yet, or again. Not sure how many of the stores will survive this pandemic. Companies just cant keep up with demand.

Number one, you have to show your sams card as soon as you enter which makes no sense because you can’t even do a transaction without it, number 2 if you don’t go with their most expensive membership you can’t shop until 10. What kind of nonsense is 10? Maybe like 9 but 10 is nearly half the day. Number 3 they never have toilet paper. Number 4 comparing cost to Walmart almost nothing is cheaper but maybe liquor. 5 watch gas because 2 times I have gotten gas it has been higher than the local gas stations.

Always a clean environment, and beautiful people.

We go here regularly and they have always been consistent in their products. They could improve on the quality of their perishable products though!

It was interesting to see Sams Club in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. They have a good selection of quality products, good pricing, and friendly helpful staff. We normally shop at Costco in Coralville, Iowa. It seems like Sams has less emphasis on organic products.

Not very helpful on phone, however in store customer service was fabulous!

Customer service does a great job I found everything I needed out quickly. The membership Internet being free they took $45 off of my total at the registe. You can find the coupon In most coupon booklets.

A Girlfriend brought me. Was the first time I had gone. Was an AMAZING experience! Umm, I spent almost $400. All was needed items. We just moved. We have my Son, his fiance and new grandbaby now, besides us. So more TP, lots more food (esp. frozen fresh foods) and some stuff in the fruits n veggies, hamburger, bathroom spears,, diapers, diaper wipes, soap, toothbrushes, medication, pop, so much more💗WE VISITED THE CEDAR RAPIDS, IA store. An AMAZING EXPERIENCE.Thank u‼️

I lost my valuepak coupon but wanted to sign up for membership and was rudely told I needed to go find it or find another one or wait til next month for the discount. Ive went to several other places without my coupon and it was ok. Hy-Vee actually has a stack of there coupons at the door to help out. I will go to Costco.

I would like to acknowledge that your staff is very busy during this time of need however, I would like to advise your company that good service is still possible and a must to keep members. I had a very poor experience with the online ordering process,  incorrect information by member service, and a manager named Charlie in Cedar Rapids, Iowa that hung up on me and didnt resolve my issue. Charlie needs to understand that he cant treat people like this especially when he is representing a company. Secondly,  your staff needs to be trained better at this club. I was lied to, promised items I didnt get and now cant get them anywhere.  I did my due diligence by ordering and following up with your store just to be let down and mistreated by management.

Its always a good experience at sams club. A good place to buy meat and burbon.

Delivery of a T.V. goes from a Monday ( 01 25 ) to a Friday ( 01 22 ) and then back to a Monday ( 01 25 ).A wasted day for cancelled appointments and rearranging things a second time for the new delivery prediction ! So glad I went for the higher cost membership just so I could be disappointed, now way to start the new association with Sams Club

Spent $320 on an item for pick up. Said would be ready by 6. They let me drive all the way to the store to tell me they were out of them and the manager could have cared less. Have been a member for over 20 years. Today is my last day. Hello Costco.

1st time for curbside and I waited for 20 minutes for my order to be brought out. Cars all around me were brought their orders but not me. After asking more than one employee for help, one employee who was just helping out, went out if her way and personally helped me. Thanks to her but not a good sign for me to continue shopping there.

While the pricing and quality of items is good, and I like the checkout process, I don’t like waiting in line to walk out the door. It’s not the policy at every Sam’s. On Saturday there were 40 people waiting in line to get out of the building after paying. Why? We’ve paid for our goods. If you are worried about people stealing things, increase the security presence, don’t hold your customers hostage.

Sams is a good store for buying in bulk or getting a good price on products. They bring in special deals and seasonal products that are nice to get at such a low price. The store is clean, the workers are great, and though we are a 2 person family now, we still manage a trip there at least once a month or more often! The bathrooms are clean. They also sell food, like pizza or hot dogs if you need a bite to eat in a hurry. We also buy our car tires here. They do have pharmacy as well.

Love Sams but miss the $30 per year membership cost.

I love the Scan and Go option, with this pandemic, it makes you feel safer!
