I highly recommend this place; its sanitized, professional and they truly care about their customers. Very kind employees and they do a great job. Also, she helped me picked out the gel color and it complimented beautifully. Ill be coming back for my next dip gel refill.

I was recommended this place by a friend and I absolutely loved it. They did an amazing job. More importantly as a guy I usually feel weird going to nail salons and even sometimes get funny looks. But not here they made me feel welcome and relaxed it was truly the enjoyable experience it should be. This now my go to place.

Super rushed for no reason. Was not even busy and was rushing. Nails look terrible and way overpriced for what you get. They went over my nail cuticles with the dip and didn’t care to shape them before hand. Left my hands dirty and messy. $55 for this. They make you pay before they even finish as well. Much better options elsewhere.

They charged me $50 dollars for this, they were extremely rude about me changing my mind about the color I wanted, so I settled for this. They refused to do any designs. Poor workmanship and customer services. I got these done around 4 pm today, it’s 8:30 pm and I already have 2 chips without doing any activity that could potentially cause damage. I am always gracious with service people but this was extremely disappointing.

They give the best manicures with excellent customer service! Great service and great staff! Very professional and very friendly and sweet! They do a nice clean up and phenomenal polish finish. Such good quality, nice people, and fair price. Will definitely be returning.

Im the maid of honor for my sisters wedding this weekend and my nails look GREAT for the occasion! They are super nice and professional and do a great job on nails. I always walk out feeling so awesome and more put together.

Service was exceptionally well and the staff were attentive to my requests. The selection and variety for nail work was good and I was very satisfied with the end result. All technicians appear to be great here and even with the constant flow of walk-ins and those with appointments, no one seems to be rushed to hurry up & finish.

I loooove this place. I drive 30 mins here to get my nails done passing hundreds of other nail salons on the way. They always do an amazing job! Absolutely love this place and the way my toes and nails came out. Great service! Its always crowded but they manage to fit you in. Could do a little better job when painting toes. Walked in to get my nails (full-set) done today and was pleasantly surprised. My nails came out really pretty just the way I wanted them. Would recommend for anyone that is looking for a top quality, but affordable service.

I waited over 2hrs for a pedicure and manicure. They sat me down in pedicure chair and left me there with no water in the tub for almost an hr. I paid for the deluxe pedicure that came with sugar scrub. I did not get a sugar scrub. They did not get out my hang nails on my toes or fingers. My hands did not look or feel like I had a manicure. The prices are cheap but so is the quality of their work. Will not go back again.

I usually go here and have a great experience. However this time it was a 20 min pedicure of that, they were really rude to my daughter that is 5. I called and complained and they only told me sorry. No refund or anything.

Horrible experience I had appointment at 1pm and they didnt help me till almost 230pm and when I walked in I told them I made appointment they said okay pick color and as I was waiting another lady and he daughter walked in and told them what she wanted about 10 mins went by and they helped the lady who was a walk in before me and that absolutely upset me then when I sat down to get my nails done the tech cut them way shorter then I wanted and on the back of the nail had extra acrylic to wear it would snag on my hair or clothes and had nerve to say they were long and say he gonna charge $65 for the length and they were not long at all then when they did my pedicure it was a rush job and the did a Horrible job on calis removal so do not waste your time or money at this place

I went to get a new gel set. When she was scraping off the old one, it was aggressive and hurt my cuticles so they were sore afterwards. My nails werent shaped well and werent all the same length. Then they chipped in like 5 or 6 days, so I paid $37 (with tip) for a manicure that lasted less than a week, I dont even know how.

My mom and I are visiting from another state and we decided to get our nails done. We came in not knowing what to expect, but it was very clean, organized, and the workers were very nice. Wonderful Experience! I came in on a Saturday morning, no appointment, I needed my dips taken off and a new dip color put on and I was in and out in 40 min! He (I feel so bad I didn’t catch his name!) did the best dip I have ever had!

Needed to get my dip manicure done on a Sunday and this was open. I just moved to the area and don’t have a regular salon yet so gave it a try. They have a nice, new location and everything seemed clean. There was no wait as only one other client when I arrived. Their color selection was pretty limited. The tech who did my nails did no cuticle work at all and after soaking off my previous dip she immediately started applying the new one (can still see old color on edge of one nail) She did less coats than my previous salon and I could barely communicate my questions or concerns because she spoke very little English. Even though no one was waiting I felt rushed and she made me pay before applying the final coat, which I thought was really odd. The price was less than I expected but definitely got less service as well. There are bottles of wine on the wall but I was not offered anything to drink and I was never given a menu of services or pricing. I knew what I wanted but was still surprised not to get any info. Ultimately it lasted about 3 weeks which surprised me since it was done so shoddily but it was never smooth and finished looking like I am used to and 2 nails got cracks through them before they started lifting up. All in all I probably won’t go back.

Normally I have a great experience, however this evening was dispointing. I dont go very often and was really looking forward to a good massage. One leg had much more time spent than the other and there was pretty much no massaging of my feet. I will go back but will be particular on who does my pedicure.

Went in to get my dip nails redone. My friend wanted a pedicure. Guy who did my nails was rushing and rough. He cut the skin around my nails in several places. 2 of my nails chipped within 2 days. My friend never got her pedicure as they kept letting other people go ahead of her (and no, they did not have appointments). I left with several areas bleeding/scabbed, and dip powder stained all over my fingers that he didn’t bother cleaning.Worst nail place I have ever been to.

This salon was great! Clean, bright, and reasonably priced! The woman who did my pedicure was very accommodating. She focused her attention on areas I pointed out and was very gentle and considerate in the way she did her work. And HALF the price of the salon across the way. 👍

My dip nails only lasted 8 hours before chipping. When I have this service done at other salons they usually last 3 weeks. I suspect its because they only did 2 layers and seemed to follow a different process then Ive seen used at other salons. There was also no cuticle maintenance or hand massage at the end of the service. I also got a huge guilt trip for not wanting to get a pedicure. I understand up-selling is important, but this was a bit much.

I really enjoy coming to Q Nails & Spa. Ive been coming here for about three years; Ive never had a bad experience. Everyone is very polite, patient yet fast and (so far) good at what they do. I normally just get pedicures because I work with my hands so manicures are rather fruitless, but for fun or special occasions I will get both a manicure and pedicure. Again, Ive never been hurt, they usually shape my toenails well, always shape my fingernails well and Ive never gotten any toenail fungus. Bright, well lit, clean atmosphere, and they have wine on the free refreshment menu 😉.

First and last time.... I do dips for my nails and add tips. The tips were not filed down to be squared up, they were lumpy on the finish and they dont have a very good variety of colors for the dips. I had to settle for a color because they didnt have the colors I can get at every other place I have gone. I am not happy with this place at all. I will definitely go somewhere else.

Was greeted by a very friendly man who told me to take my time picking a color, after about a minute a lady came and took the swatch sticks (which were very messy themselves and should have been a red flag) and made me pick a color on the spot (which was okay, I knew what I wanted but I dont like feeling pressured). Same lady rushed through my dip manicure and only did 2 coats so the color was a little uneven (again, whatever). They didnt use any cuticle oil or lotion afterwards. And then FOUR days later one of my nails cracked which I have never experienced with a set of dip nails. Reading these reviews it doesnt seem like theyll fix it either so I will not be returning.

The gentleman who did our nails was great. This was by far the best experience weve had yet! Very calm setting and very clean. The gentleman engaged in conversation with us the entire time. He stated hes been doing nails for almost 30 years and it definitely shows! Highly recommend this place!

I came in earlier today and left with four fingers bleeding and over half of my reals nail glued down to my skin.My usual nail salon is closed onSundays so I came to the next closest salon that was open. The building is nice, but I was left with four of my fingers filed down bleeding, my right thumb nail almost a half inch longer than my left, and a shape that ended far too square.My fingers hurts and I will never come here again.

I am in Iowa, out of state, for business. This nail salon was the closest to my hotel. They have a sign saying they close at 8pm. I walked in at 6:05pm. Took a seat because no one was at the reception area. The lady finally came Anotherto the front and asked me what I needed. I told her a fill and didnt have a chance to say anything else before she asked me to come back tomorrow. The lady who walked in after me(not African American like myself - may or may not be relevant) was serviced. So this was my first and last time setting foot in this establishment.

I love this place, everyone is so nice and friendly, and I am always offered a bottle of water or a pop, they also have wine if you ask, I don’t only because I am usually in between jobs when I stop in.And they always always fix your nails so nice at a moments notice you don’t need to call it’s so nice there and it’s very clean you don’t see that everywhere.Merry Christmas

Q Nails is an adorable nail salon in the perfect location. They have always been polite, timely and very professional. They are great with full sets of all shapes, shellac color, and pedicures! I highly recommend visiting this new business and taking time to let them pamper you!

I’m new to Iowa Cedar Rapids...just moved here looking for a nail shop.I heard great reviews about this particular nail salon. I walked in and waited for 10 mins. I needed a fill in on my nails. After waiting I was then offered help . I told her I needed a fil in and she replies “ just go”!.. I was confused and asked her if there was anyone doing nails? She rely “no....just go..” I won’t be going there anymore.

Did a horrible job on my nails. They just get you in and out. Added to much paint on one of my nails which got ruined because I had thought they were dry but one was still wet due to too much paint.They said they do not do nail art which is crazy to me. Would have paid extra for it. The guy was extremely rude and basically made you feel like you were wasting his time. I will say the lady who did my pedicure was nice but was also in a rush to get you in and out. This was the second time I had been there the first time was not a great experience but I thought maybe they were just busy due to prom rush but its not any better. I would recommend going somewhere else. Not worth the 70 bucks we spent there.

It is a brand new super clean environment. Longest massage I have ever received for a basic pedicure. The smells made it auroma therapy even. I went as a birthday present and it was the best pedicure I have ever had. I didnt even tell them it was birthday to see how i would be treated as a basic customer. Exceeded my expectations. Super satisfied! Definately my new place

I would say zero Stars. They did a terrible job of a dip on my real nails. Four of them broke the same night that I had them done. When I went in to complain they told me there was nothing they could do. I will never go back!

Me and my mom went for the first time to get our feet done and they didn’t do a good job, water was cold wasn’t even bubbly, rushed to paint our toes and wasn’t even engaging to talk to us hardly. They don’t offer pop or water to you while your there relaxing. The second time was to get our nails done and showed them what we wanted and couldn’t even do the design that we had picked out. Our nails are crocked and uneven and on top of that they told us to just use water and not soap to wash our hands.I wouldn’t recommend going here. There rude people and can’t even understand what they are saying and rush to do there job.

I went in and sat down right away. they were very polite. except, my nails were crooked, and not even 4 hours later my hands were numb. i had to chew them off to get the feeling back in my hands and i think i had an allergic reaction to the acrylic stuff. went to the doctor to get the swelling to go away. would not go back.

Not good. Went in on a Sunday; it was busy which was FINE.. I expected it because they are the only nail place open on the SW side on Sunday. What I was NOT impressed with is how quickly they rushed through doing my nails. I have been to other nail places (I constantly have Shellac on) and they only did two coats and they only had me hold my hand under the UV Rays two times rather than three or four like normal... my nails on day 8 are cracking and peeling off.... my nails usually last at least 14 days and I only get them redone because they’ve grown out, not because they have come off! Horrible experience ... I would have rather had you take longer on my nails EVEN THOUGH you were busy, because now I will never come back.

I received the most amazing pedicure from a nice gentleman. he brought me wine and made conversation. I thought that because of this the rest of my experience would be just as great: i was wrong. I said i wanted acrylic and dip for my manicure and the lady completely disregarded what i said and told me dip was only for natural nails. Ive had it done before and i look the look, im pretty sure she just said that because she didnt want to take the time to do it. My manicure didnt match the color of my toes which I SPECIFICALLY asked for. she did a rush job and my nails are lopsided and full of bubbles. I also mentioned that i wanted waxing and when i reminded her she said they closed soon. I wouold go back only for the older gentleman who did my pedicure but other than that I wouldnt get anything else done here! My nails look so awful and wonky-looking! The only reason theyre getting one star is once again, because of the great pedicure!

I went in just recently for shellac and pedicure.. I told the gal who helped me I wanted a French tip and design. She was very rude and my friend was showing her particular colors to try and she wouldnt respond..i had gotten a spray tan and mentioned to her and she didnt even turn the bubbles on for my pedicure.. and then for a design my friend tried to show her a few pictures and she ignored her..Also complimentary drink was not given I had to ask.. my first visit was awesome and second visit totally opposite..I feel I was over charged and disrespected..I will not return..

I have gone to this nice and clean nail salon 2 times and OMG I love it and they offer you a can of soda if you choose to have one and they done rush and get the full experience and you wont regret it... by far my favorite nail salon....

This place sucks. Theyre rude on top of it. The man made no effort with my nails and I called him out and he yelled at me. It was embarrassing. Then he proceeded to talk about me with other costumers in front of me. Never coming back. Horrible. Shouldve listened to the reviews.

My daughter went there 8 days ago to get acrylic nails. We walk in and there are only 2 people working in the entire place. After waiting over an hour, he rushes through doing her nails and overcharged her. In the past couple of days, one nail has fallen off and a piece of another one has chipped off. DO NOT GO HERE!

I would never go there again because I used a 100 gift card for my nails and they didnt fill the whole nail all the way and it came off within 2 days. I personally dont think they should do nails if they cant make it last for a week and could not fill the whole nail.💯

Was not impressed at all. Cut my toenails so short it hurt while he was doing it, then told him to leave my ingrown toenails alone bc im getting them fixed soon by a doctor but he still continued, i told him that its ok and to just leave them alone, continued to dig at them to the point where i had to ask him to stop because it hurt so bad. Only scrubbed one foot and just skipped the other, didnt use any lotion or anything and didnt wrap my legs in warm towels yet still charged me for the most expensive pedicure and got angry when i said i would not pay for it because that is not what i got. Would not recommend.

They suck, they made me bleed 3 times didnt say sorry or anything, my nails were set weird they were crooked and they popped off in 2 days and on top of it all I got an infection from them not whipping off the blood
