The whole laundromat has extra large washing machines!

Looks that owners spent a lot of money to make it modern and nice laundromat however the personal is very lazy, unfriendly, looks that they are something mad and want to destroy this business. Evening attendant closes as early as can and stays inside with no customers for the next 1.5 hours....so how you going to make money if customers cannot enter?...

Clean,friendly,free wifi,and must wear a mask...I drive pass 2 other laundromats just because this place is well kept,and have actual live attendants available. There are t.v.s throughout so you dont feel cramped or as if youre evading others

In town for work, dropped off my laundry and they did awesome. I had time one day and did my own laundry. VERY CLEAN, in fact probably the cleanest laundry mat Ive ever been in.

Simple, do your laundry, and get out. Sometimes they are busy, but there are a lot of machines. So if they all are busy, usually a very short wait.

Used this facility for laundry after August 10th storm and almost 2 weeks without electricity. Wonderful service!

Nice casual place to do laundry.

Clean, decent prices, washers and dryers kept in good repair. They offer many services, you can drop your laundry off for them to wash. They have an UGG cleaning service and best of all is the pet wash!!

Pretty decent laundromat. Theyre cheaper than the next place down the road. That have some good specials to take advantage of on certain days if you can fit it into your schedule. The attendants are very helpful. My only complaint would be that some of the machines do not work properly.

Normally dont need to go to the laundry mat but have gone here a few times when needed.Never had a complaint about them.Super nice and has always checked on me to make sure everything was good.

I inserted 2 dollars and didnt work so a old lady let me use a different machine but she said I didnt insert 2 dollars but only 1 dollar. What!? So she told me to pay her a dollar. How did she think I only inserted 4 coins!? I did put 8 coins. Just warning to you all to use old machines and maybe they charge you extra.

The staff here is amazing. They offer lots of different freebies and discounts. it is a decent place for doing laundry. Lots of great places to eat close. Only bad part is not enough dryers. If you come during the busy hours you will wait on dryers unless you want to use the smaller druers.

This location on Center Point Road, is far superior to their 6th St. location. Its always clean, and the attendants, when on duty, are helpful. I wish there were more front loaders, as these are at a premium when the place is busy.

No one REALLY enjoy going to the laundromat. Soapy Waters is a well maintained facility. Dont see lot of out of order signs on equipment, also folding areas and restrooms are kept clean.

THEFT!!DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CLOTHES UNATTENDED.I have had my clothing stolen twice. I leave the clothes to do errands. The machine has stopped by then and some one has already stolen items.I suspect the workers. They are more aware who is leaving.Both times that older big blonde woman was there.Just dont walk away from valuable things.I work hard to buy my family thing, it sucks some lazy person thinks its ok to steal them.

Washer seems to work okay. They seemed to have corralled every fly in Cedar Rapids, maybe saving them to release next year, I dont know. The mens room smelled like an outhouse in the middle of July. Other than that, not the worst laundromat Ive ever been to...

Do not go here! Took a couple of months to get our money back. Coin machine doesnt give you all of you money back. Staff are rude and laugh at you if you lose your money to a machine. They dont put signs up if machines are broken so you lose you money. Stopped going because I got tired of moving my laundry out one washing machine into another. They are expensive! Be prepared to spend more than $20 dollars on just a few loads. Their washing machines dont rinse out the soap very well. Their bathrooms are disgusting! Pulled my knee because the place was ankle deep in water. It wasnt easy moving my laundry to the dryers cause of that. My shoes were soaked. And the wheels wont turn on some of their carts.

Extremely competent staff with affordable and reliable equipment

I formerly spent between 15 and 20 dollars per week at this location with no trouble at all. After tonight I will not return. A machine did not work and I had already put in the soap and fabric softener (which I purchased from their machines). The attendant, Steffan, quickly agreed to get me another set of laundry supplies and told me I could move to another machine. While he was getting the supplies I moved my laundry to a neighboring machine to be told that I could not use that machine, but it was alright because an inferior machine had been started for me to use. When I expressed dissatisfaction the attendant became hostile advising me that I could not file a complaint because he had fixed my problem and asking why I had a problem moving my clothes (a task I had already performed). He then went into his office and when he walked past again muttered that I should give him his soap back and several unkind and inappropriate remarks which do not bear repeating. Moving my clothes turned out not to be a problem. I packed them up and left for another laundry which shall, until that particular attendant is no longer present, enjoy my custom. Hopefully the management will at least do the right thing and refund the 5.00 I pumped into their non-working machine.

I have found that this is the cheaper option for laundry in Cedar Rapids. There is a laundry service also, though I have never used it. It is very clean inside and usually isnt really crowded.

I use this laundromat all the time. Its always very clean when an attendant is there. Its open 24 hours. The machines are also serviced quickly if they have issues.

Just a laundromat nothing special. Havnt had a bad experience here though. It helps that there is a KFC next door so you can eat while waiting for laundry.
