He was very prompt, professional, and I was very impressed with his explanation of what the issue was with the leaky toilet and the solution. I am very happy with the new ADA approved toilet. I was considering adding a Point of Service small water heater at the kitchen sink to reduce the wait time for hot water. I was able to get an appointment the same day and Doug showed up within a couple of hours of my call. Doug provided professional advice and opinions on my options and provided a total cost of fixture plus install at the end of the appointment. The cost is greater than I was hoping for, so Im taking some time to consider whether or not to proceed.

Cody suggested a Jetter and we are considering it. He did everything he could to replicate what was going on and it never flooded like it did when I had to call you. I am very pleased with Andrew and his partner. He came the first time and determined that the pumps for our steam shower needed to be replaced. He reached out to the company and told us the parts to order. Second time around, he came with a partner to do the installation. They were both great to work with and stayed after hours to get the job done. Need to get an electrician to double check but overall, I highly recommend! We have been customers of BF for a long time and have always been happy with their service.

The call originated with flushing the water heater and repairing a leaking toilet. Dennis listened to my other concerns and offered helpful solutions. We discussed future plumbing projects - I hope Dennis is the plumber assigned when we are ready to move forward.

Richard Moomey and an apprentice worked at my house for a couple hours yesterday, replacing kitchen sink hardware and repairing the internal connection as well as external hardware on the garden hose connection. He also looked at other problems with us and gave us options and answered questions about future work we need. Hes a keeper and his apprentice was quiet and helpful as he worked too.

I called this company specifically inquiring about having a city water base pump installed for our sump pump. I was told by the dispatcher that BF did, in fact, install them. She asked if I would be purchasing a pump from them or if we would provide our own. We had already purchased one on our own so we just needed the installation, which was approved to be done by the dispatcher. The technician arrived at our home, looked at the pump, and stated they do not install these pumps. He called the owner who confirmed they do not install these pumps due to liability issues. He stated that the dispatcher would not have known that, as they are not plumbers. He then went on to try and sell us a different system that they had available, however, we were not interested, as we just needed the base pump installed as planned. He then stated he needed to collect a $73 service fee for the house-call in which he provided no service. No hands were laid on the sump pump or any other equipment. We refused to pay the service fee due to not performing the services he was called here to do, even though the installation was verified ahead of time by the company. The technician said he would bill us and he left. We called the supervisor who had just left for the day. We will not be referring them to our family and friends.

Richard was prompt and thorough. The price seemed a little high, but he even returned to help us troubleshoot why the furnace had gone off after his repairs.We highly recommend Benjamin Franklin. They have helped us out of some tight places and are always cheerful and explain everything before they start. Their quotes are accurate and no surprise billing when they finish.

When installing they have caulk chunks around the drain. Installed garbage disposal and didn’t install rubber parts the goes in drain. I used the disposable and water shot up everywhere. Installed sink but didn’t shim it so the water doesn’t drain it pools in the front of the sink.

The pressure was low, but it is due to corroded faucet. When he took the head off the pressure was great. He looked up the information and gave to me to call for replacement. I am very pleased with service.

Keep in mind their prices are about three times the going rate of any other license plumber in the community. Not all of their technicians are also licensed plumbers they just have to have a license plumber with in so many miles of their technician working so he can come check the work if needed. Joke of a company but of course their prices are going to be higher when their slogan is we give you $100 if we’re late.. that $100 doesn’t come from them it comes out of your high bid of a job they did

Despite the added cost, I was glad I went with Benjamin Franklin to install my new garbage disposal. They found a leak at the end and fixed it. And Im worried that another place might not have found that leak and just done the install and left, so thank you Ben Franklin!

We had discovered water all over the floor of the laundry room. We’ve had the pros at Ben Franklin before, so we knew who to call! After a short investigation, Jerrell and his partner diagnosed our situation as a clog in the main water line. They explained the problem clearly to us, and were so pleasant, polite, & friendly. They tested the floor drain in the laundry room by turning on every faucet in the house, and the washer. Their testing proved that the drain was open and nothing in the main line was clogged. It was great to know! They also went back in the attached store room, and discovered some suspicious looking signs of possible ground water. So we will watch that and see if anything else shows up in that area. They spent their time testing and explaining in clear terms what was or wasn’t happening.
