Customer service with Central Waste has been quite horrible. Lets keep in mind it took them over two years to finally get an online payment system, showing what level of company we are working with...The staff, managed by Jason, a pure leader of setting the standard of customer service in this organization, at the Whitestone location have gone out of their way to be unreasonable. So much so, that having audio and video evidence (from their own system mind you) of Central Waste not fulfilling their contract was negligently disregarded.Ever have an issue with your trash? Dont expect the brilliant minds led by Jason to assist you, instead, he will lie and cover his tracks.
Central Waste & Recycling meets all of our business waste removal needs. From general trash accumulated in the business offices to light construction/remodel waste. They are the only company I know of in the area that offers both household and light construction waste pick up in Central Texas area. They offer a variety of container sizes, and pick up options. They are affordable and always on time. They also offer off cycle pick up for a nominal fee. Were so happy to have them as our provider.
Our condominium has been using Central Waste for almost a year now. The company has been very professional and quick since the beginning - from providing quotes, setting up our account, starting our scheduled services, to answering any inquires once services started. They would also contact us proactively when they expect service outage (e.g., truck down from repair), which is very much appreciated. Highly recommend.
For being a customer service organization, they are quite horrible at it. The manager Jason is rude, scams people by not holding his staff accountable and making customers pay, meanwhile the receptionists are condescending.When THEIR OWN video evidence showed their staff blatantly skipping bulk pickup left on our curb, their solution was, pay us to come get it because its too late.I will gladly petition AMLD to not renew their contract and get a better service provider.
Ive been trying for 2 weeks to get yeah service at my home. There is no one answering phones. I constantly leave voicemails but no one calls me back. I have to haul my own trash to work everyday because I cant open a new account. I have money to pay for service but they wont call me back. I just want to pay for service and they will not call me back. They have a contract with my neighborhood so I have to use them, but they will not call me.
We have used them for over a year at our business. Had a little trouble at first with them missing a week here and there. Called them and no problem since. Would recommend

Had family over for the Fourth of July holiday which sealed up the recyclable trash they generally pick up every other week that’s why I called and explain the situation and asked if there was anything they can do they could’ve even told me I would have to pay extra for the pick up instead I was told there’s nothing they can do customer service it’s horrible
I have had central waste for just about a year at our home because its the only company that does trash service for our neighborhood. I have had 2 bill cycles with them, both times, I never received a bill. The first time, they said they mailed it, but some how sent it to the wrong address. The 2nd time, they just said, well we sent it.This second bill, I didnt get notice it was late until 60 days past due, with a $10 late fee. No big deal, Ill pay the $10. However, I had gotten an email on 3/10/21 saying, if you dont pay this bill in the next 7 days, your services will be suspended and there will be a $25 fee to resume services. I called the morning of 3/11/21 to pay my bill, the next day I check my bank account and the payment was $30 higher than the invoice. I emailed thinking it must be a mistake.They emailed me back saying, it wasnt an error, they canceled my services on 3/1/21, even though I sent them the notice on the 10th saying I had 7 days.They exact response was. Well, we canceled it on 3/1/21, so the charges stand.
We live in AMLD which has contracted Waste & Recycling through Central Waste. They are always there on the designated pick-up days and the drivers and other workers are super friendly. My son loves to watch the trucks drive by and they wave and honk their horn! Never had a problem with billing...very straight-forward and done totally through the online portal. Would recommend.

Pretty bad. I use Central waste because ACDI doesn’t offer recycling and I’m outside the cedar park waste collection area.These guys are never consistent. They tell you to have the trash out at 7am on Wednesday, but they collect at random times, 3pm, 5pm, 8am, and sometimes not at all, and then come on Thursday, or you have to call them to get them to do their jobs. Like right now for example. It’s 4:38 on Wednesday and my trash is still not taken out. Will they come today? Who knows.Also they have billing issues. They will over charge, or forget to send a bill and charge you extra later.
Michelle from billing talks over people like me and others and is always itching to start a fight. I told her recycle missed Friday 2/12/21 and she said okay we will credit you your $4:00 to you. They missed my whole street and whole neighborhood. She said drivers were told not to drive because of ice storm that did not happen for 2 more days even though trash was picked up. She also said no service today or tomorrow so we will go 2 weeks with garbage and recycle pickup. She kept talking over me and trying to verbal fight. Her company is messing up not me, reminds me of ERCOT. Not performing and taking money from people for services is called fraud. Turning this into Anderson Mill HOA. Hope they can find another company. Please other customers post your bad experiences on here and we can get them replaced.

I would like to compliment the crew that picked up garbage in Anderson Mill on Thursday, Oct. 22. A neighbors can was full of leaves and a pile spilled onto the street when it was dumped into the truck. Instead of leaving it, the crew swept it up, put the leaves into the can and dumped it a second time. I appreciate the crew leaving the street reasonably clean.

Reliable and responsive account manager I can depend on for commercial waste and recycling hauling services.
The people they have working in the field are nice and very friendly. Thats why this company has a 2 stars from me, or it would be a 1 star company. Their office staff are inpatient and doesnt know their software! I had to call twice because they said they didnt receive my payment and cut my services. Then they asked me to send in receipts, of course I did. No apology from them and it took them the next day to come and pick up my trash. Again, this happened twice. Then today, they sent me an invoice with the quantity and total doesnt match, without even checking they said it was correct after I asked them to update it. Also, within a year theyve already asked their customers to sign up for auto pay twice. Such an unorganized company! Please train your employees better.But I am happy that they take glass! Previous recycle company didnt take glass.
My husband had to call for a billing issue. My husband was told to shut up even though, Michelle from billing, was talking over him the entire time. When this escalated to upper management, she could not answer any of the questions my husband had asked her. When she could not answer our questions after being asked over and over, she responded with anger and decided to end the phone call. We couldn’t get our billing issue fixed, nothing was done for us. Poor company, poor customer service.
Great prices, friendly staff and crew. We have rented roll off dumpsters and 3 and 8 yard regular transh service at different times. Always drop off and pick up on time. Couldnt be happier with the service received each and every time.
Not only are they the rudest customer service, they will over bill, lose payments, cut service by mistake and then charge you to bring them back. After several attemts to explain their error, three employees later got a somewhat compitant person.. Was able to show they made an error. Was left on hold 45min then no apology said fine there its fixed bye. .i HATE giving my money to this company! But my neighborhood is in a contract so I have no option or choice to use another service.

Zero stars was my first choice. They dont recycle properly as they claim to do. They do not offer composting. They dont have designated yard waste pickup days. Bare minimum trash company with poor management and terrible customer service. Out of date company with the concerns trash customers have today with regards to reduce, reuse, compost, and recycle.
Great service, and they even post on our community page to let us know if there are any changes. The drivers are super to my 3 year olds that loves to wave at them. Thanks!
This company billed me for 3 dumpsters when I only ordered and received 2. I went round and round with them over billing me. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
