Fossa is located on the eastern exterior of the 7/11 at the intersection of Baghdad road and Whitestone Blvd. It’s a good geographic location, but I only give it 4 stars because it’s outside with virtually no protection from weather, and—more importantly— it is not exactly secure from a situational awareness standpoint. The locker is easily visible from Whitestone Blvd, (a highly trafficked road which would make an easy getaway) and is directly across from the convenience store dumpster enclosure; adjacent to the Napa auto parts store, additional parking behind 7-11, and more concrete dumpster enclosures at the rear of each. You simply can’t keep an eye over your shoulder and maintain awareness around all those blind corners in every direction while putting in your Amazon code and pulling packages...There are just far too many places for a would-be robber to lie in wait, watching for people coming to retrieve their purchases. Now....all that said, this community is a pretty nice area, and I would imagine the likelihood of such a crime happening here on the low order of probability...But I personally would prefer a location where I don’t feel the need to keep an eye trained in all directions.
