I booked a week before upon renting a car with them and they called me on that day itself to say that they dont have any available cars at hand. Pretty disappointed as this is not their first time doing this. The lady on the phone was not very friendly and helpful in fact she came off as rude and arrogant. This is the last time I will rent from them. Hope you guys can come up with a future solution or better yet plan ahead in informing situations like this to customers. Also, please update your website if you do not have available cars. It wasted my time figuring out how to get a rental car from you. Thank you.

Since the change in management.....this is the worst place to try to get a rental.....even if you have a reservation in hand...and a lot full of cars....they will not have any cars available for rent...they dont want to rent them out, it might require work, or for someone to do something other than making an excuse. I used to rent from this location all the time, and no where else, never had any issues......I will never rent from this location. Now ...and dont recommend you even try....go to enterprise..they have 2 location s in the area....and have no problem, getting you a rental car!!!

I was so thankful for the man named Kyle at this location. I was having a very hard day, and he was so helpful and made everything go smoothly. I was leaving on short notice all by myself and among other things, I was worried about whether I would be able to fit my bike into the rental car. Without me even mentioning it, he noticed I had a bike and offered to help me put it in the car. He did it easily and was overall so helpful and made sure I had everything I needed.

Fast amazing service. Rented a nice new car. This is my new go to rental place

The 1 800 number for roadside assistance is useless. Was stuck in a blizzard with a flat and had to change the tire in freezing temperatures then drive on the spare for 200+ miles to an open agency to get a replacement car.

Good interaction with operater and manager l would recommend Hertz even though I dont think they pick you up but they were closed but came back to the shop for me and opened up. Thanks again

Very poor customer service experience. As mentioned by other reviewers, my price was also much higher than I was quoted. When I asked if there was anything he could do to lower it back to the original quote, the customer service guy responded that this was just policy. He did not express any concern or give any real apology, instead opting for the apathetic and unfriendly approach of simply repeating that this was just policy. Very disappointed; I will be going back to Enterprise from now on.

Absolute nonsense. Why any company would charge incidentals up front instead of just holding a credit card I have no idea. I made my reservation a week in advance and received the price but when I arrived it was much higher. I almost missed my business trip but went to Enterprise and got it half the price with a free upgrade to a very nice car. 😎

Called ahead of time and was quoted a rate, arrived at the business and the rate increased by $30.00!!! Representative didnt seem friendly, just an overall horrible waste of time. Use to rent from Hertz Cedar Falls all the time for my business travel to Cedar Rapids so extremely disappointed.

Absolutely the worst experience of my life with a company. Canceled my reservation and gave me no reason why. There was no trying to remedy the situation or apology. Had to scramble to find another option. Gave me an 800 number to call and a have a good day. Completely flabbergasted at the lack of concern.

Mitch, the store manager, along with his team, did such a wonderful job getting my husband and me a car when our car was part of a recall. They were quick to meet our needs and went above and beyond for us. I definitely recommend this location to anyone needing a rental.

Overall had problems every time I rented from them. Wrong car, didnt get the reservation, etc. Rented from them a total of 7 times in a yr and half never had a problem as far as the cars shape when returned. Went to go rent another one for my mother in laws surgery. Boom my 658 score was suddenly not good enough for a rental. Even tho I had just rented from them 2 months prior. Contacted Equifax credit whom hertz blames for this problem, and they report there should have been no problems!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great ride for 3 adults. In and out of the University Ave location in 10 minutes. Loved the Nissan Ultima gas mileage--36 highway.

Our car has had a change oil lamp on it and now has a charging system check engine light! Their roadside assistance laughed abs said i should just drive the car! Then did not listen to me when i said were not a big enough city to have ubber or lyft! No empathy training done here and not to mention when the other drivers insurance took over they took money for a deposit out of our bank account without any knowledge to us! I did ask if their would be charges taken out of our bank and was told no by a assistant manager!

Horrible service paperwork wasnt correct after reading the book of paperwork noticed something wrong had to struggle with someone changing it and making it right out of town and then they over charged me and said my time I choose wasnt what it was it was to be returned at 7 a.m.

I rented a car wanted a 4 door got a 2 door. they told me $146 thought it was a bit much but ok used it for 6 hours they charged me $304. to fly to the location where i dropped the car off was $256. GOOD job hurtz you got me this time . rent from here if you want to get screwed
