Awesome prices, very busy location and if you put something down for even two seconds, chances are that an employee will grab it and put it back!! Almost seemed like too many staff members and not enough to do.... but there are some great deals to be found here!
Ok prices some too high and some merchandise appears to have been donated from people too lazy to go to the dump or trash can. Some good deals. Friendly people for the most part
Sometimes I wonder who is setting the prices. Its a thrift store, not consignment.
Great place to get cds and movies. Sometimes good clothes or furniture if you dont mind a little wear. For collectibles and video games youre almost always better off online. Dont expect too much from the place, its just a thrift store, afterall. Fun place to look around and the staff are almost always friendly. It really is a good thing for the community.
Hit and miss much like any thrift store. You have to watch prices, and quality check yourself. Sometimes they are pretty high for the condition the items are in. Employees have always been polite. Store is clean and well organized. It seems like I can always find better items at this location than the St George DI.Is my go to for used denim but the prices are all over the place so you have to watch what you are picking out. You can find jeans for $4-$12? I asked once if they would take a couple dollars off an overpriced pare of jeans because there was a hole (pretty sure I could repair) in the leg inseam. They wouldnt lower the price but it probably shouldnt have been for sale in its current condition in the first place.Once found a really nice oversized chair for a bargain. Have found some good exercise weights and bands.
They pretty much always have what you’re looking for, and even if they don’t, you can find something else that you love!
LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! WISH they were in TX 🥺 everything is under like $3... and they have EVERYTHING!!! 😍😍😍
Im glad they can help people in the community learn job skills, but Id like it if they cleaned the stuff before they put it out.
It’s my favorite store in the area. I found a new pair of KEEN shoes around Christmas last year for only $8.00. They are the cleanest, most organized DI store I’ve shopped at, and more likely to have what I’m looking for then other DI’s in the area. I almost always find needed items if I check back at the right time.I think Their management is a little tight on not adjusting prices for poor people sometimes though.
So Ive gone to the D.I. quite a few times in my life when they were at their old location, and a few times in this new location. It feels like they doubled the size of the building, and still offer the same amount of items. The new location could be great, but I guess people need to donate more, and better items.
Thank you to the very nice gentlemen that helped grab some band aids and paper towels for my daughter when a cut on her leg mysteriously broke open. He was quick to help. Nicest guy ever!
Deseret Industries is such an amazing blessing to the community. Thank God for His Church and the wonderful people who are involved in helping others, not only with their mental and physical wellbeing, but they do whatever they can to help you succeed in life. Deseret Industries has been there for me, probably more than my fair share, 😉 but I will be forever grateful for the opportunities that I have had because they truly cared.I know some may think the prices are unreasonable, but just know that the money goes back to the community, by helping those individuals that are struggling, to have a job, an education, a chance at a better life that they may not have had without the Church, DI, and the community coming together to donate and purchase items from DI.Praise be to our Heavenly Father! Its definitely a team effort and I thank each one of you for your part in helping others!
Fun to find things to help us organize at a great price!
Whoever if setting the prices on items at this location needs to be fired. This is a Mormon thrift store, not Macy’s smh
As far as thrift stores go its not bad. They could do a better job disposing of items that really should be considered beyond useful life. Theyre more realistic in pricing than other thrift stores so thats a plus.
Great thrift store, great purpose!
The service was awful! And everything is so overpriced for used stuff. I can get everything in better conditions and for cheaper at Ross. They treat their employees terribly, too. I heard one supposed manager going off on another employee for a simple comment they made. Take my advice: go somewhere else and get your moneys worth.
D.i is not the place for you if your willing to shop cuz they are ridiculously expensive on certain Items, as for if you want to work here I would not recommend it management tends to treat their employees like dirt, as a customer Ive seen an employee get treated so badly to the brink of tears horrible service
I don’t understand why the furniture prices are so stinking expensive! Is the management aware that people below the poverty level shop there?? The other day, they had a sofa in there with rips and tears in it for 110$$! I didn’t think greed was the thing with something run by the church. Seriously, something needs to be done.
One of the least handicapped/disabled friendly stores in the area. I guess their words end when it comes to patrons. Big new store but no handicap/disabled carts for customers. Ill be spending my money elsewhere where they want to make accommodations for their customers. Actions do indeed speak louder than what is preached from the pulpit. Thanks for causing me to go elsewhere, my disabled vet friends will be informed to avoid this store since it isnt disabled customer friendly AT ALL!
I would not shop here if you are pro2nd amendment. They do not have any signs in the window that let you know that they do not allow weapons in the store yet it is in the store policy for managers to ask anyone who carriers to leave. #boycottdeseretindustries.
Management is so rude. Entry level employees are super sweet and helpful. Pricing is more often higher than when the item are brand new.
This is one of the worst thrift stores. They sell used dirty items for the same price as clearance ones at Retail stores. They have a USED matress they got for FREE for $500. If people could afford that price, they wouldnt be shopping at a thrift store. They sell used dollar store items for over a buck. The purses are a variety of prices from 1.50 to 5.00. Sounds like a good deal until you grab the $1.50 one and they refuse to honor that price and charge you $4.00 instead. Then when you question it, because theres at least 5 other purses with that price on it, the manager tells you, well you dont have to buy it. Thanks for wasting my time Mr. manager. Congrats on your horrible customer service skills.
The new store is great. The prices were reasonable and the selection was fantastic as well. The grand opening this morning was a lot of fun, even though the whole store was packed.
Very nice and well organized store! Found many great clothes.
DI is my absolute favorite thrift store. It is always fun to come and see what there is to buy. From books to clothes to videos to everything else, you can find lots of treasures here for cheap.
Awesome store, always something new and interesting, however management can use a friendlier upgrade specially in the clothing section, other than that the staff is friendly.
Great clothes selection! I always visit this store for clothes and toys. They are organized and friendly.
The quality of the items overall was disappointing. Priced a bit high. I heard through the grapevine, that to better items go to Salt Lake City. That was sad to hear. I don’t know if it is true.
I love the DI! Whenever I need anything it is always the first place I go!
One of the CSL was rude not polite at all they should take a good look at their management is sad because the church should promote goodness kindness politeness good-hearted people he was the complete opposite very very sad
One of the best DIs in Utah. Theyve had a good mix of quality items since this one opened.
Always a good time at Deseret Industries! This one usually has what I am looking for and I get nice things from it.
The place is fun evert time you go in you can find different stuff
Good selection. Good prices.
I love finding books and cool antiques
This DI is fine. Never super impressed with anything I find here.
Housewares and miscellaneous goods selection was lacking. I did find some decent vintage books and a few regional vintage nic-naks.
Your associates were very kind. But one of your Job Coaches I think his name was Dennis was very rude when I asked him for a piece of tape.
The staff were very friendly and good hundred.
Price tag said 30 cents for a spatula but they wouldn’t honor it at the front? The lady laughed at us and said they don’t sell anything for 30 cents....so why did the price tag say that?
Most expensive thrift store ive ever been to. These guys are ripping people off. Its crazy how much they can charge for stuff that was given to them
Live the checkers very friendly good selection, clean, organized
Lovely place.
The absolute most expensive DI in the state of Utah and Vegas.
I like this store, shoes are over priced but everything else is priced well
The prices are way too high for what youre buying.
Wide selection of used and new items.
Prices on pants are way too over priced!
There trash,can become my treasures.
Great selection and prices
Good stuff.
Thrift store with great bargains
Great place
I love it
