Shakespeare flooring did a beautiful job of finishing wood floors in two bedrooms that have already been stained or aged to a beautiful floor however when they came to a short hallway between the two rooms that had never had any kind of stain and was therefore looked blond rather than oak As an out of town customer I should have been notified . they finished it rather than asking whether we wanted it stained or not to make it match. now I have to strip it stain it and refinish it myself I am not pleased. He tried to convince me that the world was completely different I’m a woodworker myself I’m not buying it. using different stains you can make it match so it looks similar. When I gave him a chance to make it good he threatened to leave me a bad review if I left him one I thought that was very unprofessional he needs to stand behind his work rather than threaten his clients. Now I see how he has all 5 star reviews. This is the first bad review I’ve ever left for anyone! I would suggest not using him if you can’t be there to watch him. If you can go for it.
