I purchased a used car with possibly a bad wheel bearing. I took it to 2 other shops. One of them fixed one side, and said the noise that was still there was just road noise. Took it to a different shop. They replaced the other side, noise was still there. They said it was road noise.I knew it wasnt. It was extremely noisy at highway speeds and had new tires. I took it to Leons. They listened to me. They actually diagnosed the car instead of just throwing parts at it to charge me something and get me out the door.Leons found that the first place damaged the new wheel bearing they put it when they installed it, and they also severely damaged my axle shaft, and the roaring noise was the axle shaft support bearing.Leons repaired the van, they gave me a great price, and best of all they LISTENED to me and DIAGNOSED the vehicle. I am very happy with their work, and have found my new permanent mechanics. I strongly recommend these folks!

Pulled up needing an oil change real bad. I saw a couple of empty stalls so I though I might be in luck. Nope. As I waited to be acknowledged, they had no problem telling me they were a week out but could put me in the book. I said I needed it badly and she said “oh, sorry!”I understand it when you’re extremely busy but I though maybe they would be like all the other garages and slide you in. Usually I have no problem making an appointment but myself, have been extremely busy. I think I’ll go back to st George where they know me and I don’t get treated like an outsider.I’m not mad or saying they’re not good. I was just hoping to find that place that made me feel like family the first visit and someone I could trust. Maybe I’ll try them again, later.

We were in desperate need of wheel alignment after a car accident. Myself, my son and my aunt were on a road trip and had a timeline of when we needed to be headed back home to Tennessee. Professional and fast! Kendall diagnosed the problem (for free) then gave me a written estimate. I ordered the parts and then he fixed it taking apart the entire front suspension and repairing it. He double checked his work and the bill came in lower than the estimate (how often does that happen?). Great people to deal with, Ill be back!!!! Thanks Kendall and Leon, he did the alignment.

We developed a serious vibration in the front suspension of our F350 while traveling thru Cedar City. Leon worked us in and repaired the issue. His knowledge of the problems with the Fords front end and the correct diagnosis off the worn parts was great. Didnt have to go thru the lets try this and lets try that that happens at some other shops. I would recommend his services to anyone.

My family is from California, while driving through Utah we got into a car accident in St. George. We thought the car was drivable, we were wrong. We had to get a hotel room, then look for a shop the next morning. We read the reviews about Leon. I called him 30 min earlier than his opening time. Mind you, Ive been up all night, stressed about the day that were loosing on the road, and now the unexpected expenses to fix my car. Leon put it up with no questions asked. Got the part ordered and was delivered by 2 pm. Leon let us borrow his personal truck( since we didnt know anyone or anything to do in town) he directed us to places we might enjoy. When we came back to get my car, he found another part busted on my car, without hesitation his wife and daughter drove to St George to get the part for us so we could get on the road. This family, and that shop has been a blessing. Made my family feel like his family. Welcomed my kids and offered for then to make themselves at home. Couldnt have asked for a better mechanic to work on our car, and someone to put your mind at ease!

I own a large independant automotive repair shop in South Jordan, Utah. I was traveling through Cedar City when I heard an awful sound coming from under my truck.. I got a hotel for the night and went to meet Leon first thing in the morning. He determined that it was the transfer case and recommended that I replace it. I agreed. He said he would install it if I wanted to order the transfer case from the dealer at my cost and have it delivered to his shop. Owning a shop myself, whenever someone gets their own parts theres always something that isnt right and then the job doesnt get completed on time. I gave my authorization to do the complete job and told them I would rent a car and return on my way back in 3 days. The transfer case came and they got it installed for me before I returned later that week. I appreciated their honesty and concern. The price was what I was quoted and the job was completed on time.and it worked great. Thank you Leon!

A few weeks back our family was near Cedar City and having some truck trouble. Leon was able to get us seen within 45 minutes without an appointment. We recently had our truck repaired at a different shop and worried that it was something that broke again. Leon spent 1 hour checking the problem. He was able to diagnose the problem and suggested we go back to the shop and have them do the adjustment rather than him as it would be an expensive job. He assured us the truck was safe to drive in the meantime. We tried to pay him for the hour of his time but he wouldnt take the money. He said he didnt fix it so he wasnt going to charge us. He was extremely knowledgeable and very kind (funny too)! If we lived closer to Cedar City, Leons place would MOST definitely be our regular repair shop.

I would definitely refer Leon’s . My truck broke down on my way to cedar from Las Vegas. I called a tow truck and we towed it to Leon’s . My steering bar broke in half and I was a mess. Leon and the crew calmed be down and got my truck fixed right up. He was reasonably priced and even did a total exam of my truck and suggested thing for me to address when I got back to Vegas. Most friendly yet professional shop I’ve ever been too. Leon helps you so you leave feeling like you know just as much about your vehicle as he does, he walks you through exactly what could possibly be wrong and how he is going to fix it and make sure that you understand that entire process. He even was concerned enough that he asked me to call back the following day and give him an update to make sure that we had finally gotten to the root of the problem. I don’t think I will ever take my car to anyone else and I will never recommend anyone other than Leon and his crew to my friends and family!

Long story short- Amazing experience.Long story long- we were driving to Cali from Northern Utah and our Van over heated twice (2nd time in Cedar City). We found Leons off a Google Search. My, wife & 5 kids pulled into Leons and explained we were in a pinch. We needed to get to LA to pickup my daughter that night for a vacation Saturday morning. Leon checked the Van quick and realized it was not an easy fix. So he called Rental Car places & Shuttle companies trying to get us taken care of. Ended up, he let us take his personal truck to St. George where we got a rental van we used for a week (we left his personal truck parked in St. George for a week). Then Leon fixed our van while we were on vacation. We returned the rental van and drove Leons personal truck back to Cedar City from St. George. Service is fast, but had to take my vehicle elsewhere to finish what was supposedly done costing even more money about 2 months later . I was also charged almost 10% to run a card because thats what the card company does - Front desk, not Leons words . I later called the card company and discovered thats not accurate. So I dont know where that money went.

Best automotive shop Ive ever been to, cannot recommend Leon enough! Ive been to many shops and done lots of work myself ranging from tube chassis buggies to Hyundais, and Leon was next level amazing to deal with as far as quality of work, price, overall attitude. I walked in without an appointment, and he went above and beyond researching and calling people and assisting me for tuning my newly installed supercharger. Everyone in the shop was really nice, and Leon was awesome to talk to. I will exclusively be taking my trucks to Leon in the future for any and all work. Hes not a chain or huge dealer just trying to get customers and money through the door, hes a straight shooter and will be honest and not intimidating and willing to work with you.

I took my car in for a problem I could barely explain because of multiple symptoms. The mechanic said I think I know what it is and he had it fixed within two hours. Went in this morning and asked shop look at my trailer rim. Counter lady asked several shop employees, but none was able to take few minutes and just look at rim. I took my Chevy Aveo to Leon because the front end had a bad squeak when I turned the corner. (I had taken the car to other places where I had brake-work done, but they were unable to solve the problem.) I was looking only to make an appointment, but he immediately had his crew put my car on the hoist, take the front end apart, and locate the problem. Rather than set an appointment to come back, he had his workers quickly fix the problem and I was back on the road within 30 minutes. No Squeak! Plus a guarantee that if there was a problem I could bring it back and he would do his best to fix it. He was honest, kind, and a welcome change to the run-around I have received at some mechanic shops. He will always receive my future business. Highly recommended!

We were in Cedar City for the summer games on Thursday afternoon, with our truck and RV. We had unhooked our RV at Cedar Breaks RV park and as we turned the truck around to park for the evening the power Steering went out. We didnt have any idea where to get the Vehicle fixed. My nephew Dan Jewkes told us about Leons alignments, he made a couple of calls and got the OK to have it towed there and leave it that night. Leon said he had a full schedule but would try to work it in on Friday. Leon did everything in his power to get it done and back to us by Friday. I was traveling out of town from California and had a wheel bearing go out on one of the front hubs of our Suburban on the 4th of July. The shop was closed but theyre mechanics Peter and Parker happened to be at the shop at 7 p.m. in the evening. They opened the shop up confirm the problem and were able to repair the truck that evening. The final bill was very reasonable and its rare to find such great service nowadays.

Leon was honest beyond what I expected. My car needed things he didnt feel comfortable doing so he called another location in town and helped me get an appointment there. He could have cost me a lot more money but his integrity showed.

Leon could not have been more accommodating. Our little car had slid hard into the curb after a recent snow storm. Leon took it right into his shop for a quick assessment of damage. He called to advise that we should consider making an insurance claim as the evident damage looked to be well over our deductible. We did that. He responded to the claims officer with an accurate estimate and the work was authorized. We had the car back a week later (even after one of his suppliers shipped the wrong axle). Leon was fair, fast and friendly. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Didn’t have a good experience. He wanted to charge me over $200 for a battery and installation. He talked me down like I was an idiot when I told him we couldn not pay that much for a battery, so we will save up. Then he tried to charge me a $96 diagnostic fee which he did not tell me about before I left my car there. He called my husband a dumba** several times for disagreeing with the diagnostic fee we were not told about until after. There were about 5 customers in the room when he acted like this. I understand we disappointed him by denying his service, but that is never professional. If you have a diagnostics fee, you need to tell your customers before they leave so they can choose to stay or take it elsewhere. We will not be returning.

If there were 10 stars, I would give them! We were traveling with our toy hauler and happened to call Leon to see if he had any insight about our F450 and it driving like a wave runner! We had taken it to Ford many times, they installed a new steering box, took it to an alignment shop in Las Vegas and still no help. Installed a Fox steering stabilizer, bought new Toyo tires, tried it ALL and was about to give up and just sell it until we let Leon in Cedar City take a look. He advised us to take the Fox stabilizer OFF, and just like that, a whole new truck. Wth?! So stoked Leon was able to help us and make our summer rv trip much less white knuckled and enjoyable!! Ive been taking my trucks to Leon for 20 years. Once he took the plunge and opened his own shop I took all my vehicles trailers and smart ass remarks week after week to get all the neglected things fixed. With Leon in charge I know Im being treated with honesty and respect. Ive watched Leon walk away from two employers who I use to take my vehicles too. Reasons always came down to trust and integrity of business practices. Leons didnt open because hes a mechanic chasing the better money of owning a shop.
