Chip really took care of us. I had a faulty thermostat that was difficult to find. He came twice to figure it out. After I got a new thermostat Cole came out to turn on my breaker switch. I was an idiot. Stressed and hot and wasnt thinking straight. Really appreciate them both. Ill be using this company in the future and trying to do less myself. High integrity.

Holy cow!! OUTSTANDING customer service from Chace at Davis Heating & AC Service (Cedar City). I called after 9pm with a dead touch-screen thermostat. From the time I called their after hours answering service, to the time Chace called me, it was literally less than 5 minutes. We were able to get our issue fixed the same night. Went above and beyond to help us replace our furnace after a basement flood destroyed our furnace. They were so kind and attentive.

Came out promptly to inspect my furnace. We made a arrangements for them to make a repairs on a project that needed to be done before winter set in. It is now February and still waiting. Only heard good things about them. But I can not recommend them.After posting a negative review about Davis heating and Air I figured I would hear back from them middle of March still nothing from them. Fortunately I have found another company to make the repairs I need. I believe the problem was too difficult for them to handle

I just want to say that I really appreciate these guys always being willing to come out and check on my AC. We have used them multiple times and they have always been responsive and very friendly when they show up. Thank you for being awesome.

They were prompt and direct addressing my heating problem. The technician was on time and got right to work fixing the problem. Will definitely call them in the future if I need anymore work done.

After calling at 6am on the hottest day of the year, which also happened to be a Saturday, Mike came out just hours later to diagnose and fix my old evap cooler. He did no more than necessary to get me up and running immediately, but also let me know what will help keep my unit running and what might come up as repairs down the road. Fast, professional, competent and amazingly reasonable. At 65, I am done climbing up on my roof twice yearly. I now have a company and technician I can count on to do it right. They really are 24/7 and even their dispatch person was great.

I appreciate that Davis works hard to come quickly. I discovered on a Wednesday the air wasnt cooling, and they were there by Friday. Here is my issue, the technician came at 3, asked a few questions and insisted it was my filter which I had changed within the month. I dont feel like he was truly listening to my issue and taking advantage of the fact that I dont understand AC. He left with only changing a filter and checking a vent for air. We put the air on for a full hour and it never cooled down which was always the issue. They didnt charge me thankfully for that visit but said they would come Saturday if I would turn it off because it was probably frozen on the outside. We had already tried this, I appreciate that they were willing to come on Saturday but I felt I lost their trust and ability to be proficient and spend time listening to the customer. I decided to go with another AC company and chose to wait a week because of their reviews and service. They discovered the motor had ceased up and it needed referiderant. I honestly I jsut dont think the tech from davis wanted to get on our tall roof. We ended up going 7 days longer from the time we had Davis to the time we went with another company, without AC so we could get someone we could trust rather than how fast they can come. I am sure this company works for some but sadly wont work for us. We will wait to be listened to.

We recently used Davis Heating and Air and everyone we dealt with great! Unfortunately our old oil furnace died in the middle of winter and it was time to switch to gas. Mike was very knowledgeable and caring when explaining everything to me and explaining the process. He went above an beyond when working with our schedules and working with the gas company and the city to have everything done as quickly as possible! He was very accommodating and it felt like he truly cared about my family! I cannot say enough good things about this company!!

Good group of people but I am disappointed in their ability to communicate clearly. I was told to wait a few days for a bid and then called back a couple days later, expecting a plan to replace the unit, only to find out their “policy” doesn’t allow the install team to install the type of unit discussed days before. I know our tenants would’ve appreciated the correct information days before... instead, now we have to wait a couple days to get another company out to take care of a simple replacement.

Fantastic service and people! Frank took time on a busy day to come give us an estimate. Then he surprised us by getting a great crew here much earlier than we thought it would be. He had warned us that they were scheduled out the next 3 weeks but found a crew willing to come in less than a week! Our old swamp cooler hadnt worked all summer and when he found out he really went the extra mile to help us. And he was less than half what the people from St. George told us too. Blessings on this business!

Turned on our furnace for the season and smelled a horrible burning smell. Turned it off and called Davis. It wasnt an emergency and it happened during a freeze period so they were super busy. They still got me in line for service within a decent period of time which was great. Kole came and got the job done very quickly for a fair price. I highly recommend them!

Excellent experience. Cole helped with a minor repair at a home I was helping a client sell. Even though the repair was minor, he kept in touch throughout the process as he knew it needed to be done before the closing date.

Jeff arrived the same date of our call for repair even though the appointment had been made for the following morning. He said he had finished another job early and was in the area. He found the source of our A/C problem immediately, but said it would need to thaw overnight and he would return the following morning (as scheduled) to complete the repair. He was very polite and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this company again!

I called today at 3:30 to schedule a time to have my furnace fixed. I was shocked when they said they could come today. Chip the serviceman was here before 4 pm. He was very knowledable and pleasant. By 430 he had fixed/ changed a part in my furnace, and lit my fireplace pilot light which he didn’t charge me for. So grateful he had the part on the truck. I highly recommend using this company I couldn’t be more pleased and grateful!!

Called my normal repair company for four straight days - got their outsourced answering service that promised a technician would call in an hour. They never called. Called Davis - Left a VM and Carmen called back in 45 minutes. She explained my options and we set an appointment. Then she called back 2 hours later and said they could fit me in today at straight time. Cody showed up, very professional, and got me up and going in less than 10 minutes. Explained options and ongoing maintenance, things to look for, and charged me a very reasonable price. My new service company. Fast, Honest, Fair, Friendly and Professional. Not sure what more you could ask for!

Only giving two stars because the people who did our install were nice. Otherwise Id give less than one star if I could.We were quoted over $500 LESS than they actually charged us, and the installation men were only here for a couple hours. They left during install to get some parts and were gone for over 3 hours. The extra charges ($500 more than quoted) were for those parts that turned out to be some metal sheeting. Quoted $150. Charged $675. For a swamp cooler install.We wont be back for the installation of our new heating.

Our furnace quit working so we called Davis. They came within a short time and the service guy was very friendly and took about 5 minutes to find the problem and 10 minutes to fix it. I wanted to write a testimonial about the fast, friendly service, etc. etc. etc.I later found out that they were very busy and short-handed and the friendly service guy was actually Frank Davis, the owner of the company. I dont know how many large, well-established companies have their owner still making service calls, but it tells me that he is in touch with his business and cares about his customers. Frank Davis has earned another loyal customer for life.Also, my work brings me into contact with many of the business owners in and around Cedar City, and Ive found that MOST of them have been long-standing customers of Davis for their heating and air conditioning service. If you are new to the area or in need of service for the first time and are trying to find the best company, look no further!

With the temp dropping to near 0° at night, an unresponsive furnace can cause a lot of damage. I called around 6pm on a Friday night and had Kip onsite within 45 min. He diagnosed and fixed the issue within 30 min. This entire company has always provided great service and response times.

The technician was very knowledgeable and quoted us several hundred dollars less than the other estimates we had received. The AC blows cold and the job was finished a week faster than quoted!!! I will be back for all future HVAC repairs and installs.

They are very quick to respond and got someone out to look at our unit very quick. They are great to work with and called with a very accurate time of when they would be to my house.
