This shop is my usual go too however the last time I had service they kept my vehicle for several days just to tell me the car was done and when I arrive I find they it wasn’t really finished. I wasted time by having to wait an additional hour that could have been used for my other plans. Then I find that one of the services I requested wasn’t even done at all so now I have to schedule another time to leave my car again to have this service done. Definitely was satisfied by this particular visit.

I honestly wasn’t going to write a review, but I feel that I have to share my experience so that it could potentially help someone else out. I initially went in for an inspection. My car failed inspection which was fine because I had just purchased my car from a dealer who had agreed to pay for all of the repairs that needed to be made to pass inspection. My car had failed for the lower left control arm. I brought my car back to get serviced and to get reinspected. The first problem came from the invoice that I received for the work that needed to be done.When I came back to pay after my car had been serviced, the price total was different from the original price that they had estimated from when my car failed the inspection. It didn’t really bother me at the time because I was paying for it, I was getting reimbursed by the dealer. However, there should not be any discrepancies in the invoice and the receipt. The second problem came about when I was driving my car off of the ase auto center parking lot after my car had presumably passed inspection by ASE auto center. As I was driving my car was making strange scraping noises. I proceeded to drive and thought maybe it wasnt my car. By the time I got home I called ASE auto center and asked them to take a look at my car because it was making scraping noises that it hadn’t been making before. When I brought my car back in they said that there was something wrong with my suspension. I said, ok why wasn’t this identified when you guys reinspected the car. I also asked, would this be enough for the car to fail inspection and they said yes. My question is, why would the car pass inspection if there were still things wrong with the car. They proceeded to say that when they inspected the car nothing was wrong with it. I find that hard to believe considering that the car at the time was inspected less than a hour before we had the conversation. The owner explained to me that the work that they had done could have caused the car to reveal other flaws, which I understand. I just dont understand why these flaws were not identified when the car was so called reinspected, that just doesn’t make any sense. One of the mechanics also admitted to driving my car to a different auto shop to get a wheel alignment. I did not authorize anyone to take my car to a different shop, im quite sure that isn’t legal. There were also other customers there who were complaining about similar things. There was one customer complaining that the estimate that ASE auto center had given him for work to be done on his car was different from what they charged him. There was another customer that was complaining about his AC, apparently the customers ac was working fine before bringing it in to be serviced and after his AC was only blowing out hot air. I just want to say that you have been warned, im not sure how they have such a high rating but my experience was horrific.

This shop does amazing work! Very honest and trust worthy with quality work. I dropped off my vehicle for a pretty big job and they did the work very well. The car runs much smoother after having the guys at ASE do their magic. Brian, the owner, is a stand up guy as well. Wouldn’t take my vehicles anywhere else.

I had my 1991 mr2 bodywork done by bryan. I bugged the hell out of them because I wanted everything to be perfect and they kept up with me. Car looks straight out of the factory now. They also have good customer service as the spoiler was installed before the paint fully cured and Bryan asked me to take it back and they will repaint it. Very happy with the overall quality.

I brought my car in and paid a deposit in earlier so they would order parts and everything was ready. When I got there to drop off my car 1) they couldnt find my file, 2) parts were not ordered, 3) was told no way my would be done the next day even though earlier I was told it would be ready. 4) when I picked it up my carpet was soaked in grimy foot print.

Stopped into this shop by chance for new brakes about a year ago and was very pleased. No B.S., they took care me and didn’t overcharge. Since then I have dropped in for a few other things and the experience has been the same. The owner Bryan is honest and always takes care of any problems which may arise. A great place to take your car for service. Bmw quoted me $1800 for a job and Bryan basically did the same job for $900.

Just got my Corolla repaired from a big accident and I gotta say these guys rock. Theyre very responsive and quick to all my questions while I was waiting on my repair. My car looks like its brand new again. Brian and his team is great peeps, Theyll definitely make the repair process less of a headache.

They made the experience seamless. Brian was extremely patient and helpful. I dropped my car off to have my entire engine replaced. No problems, no hiccups, I picked up my car in two weeks and it is like nothing happened to my car. The quote was AWESOME, way better than 3 other shops I contacted, and they allowed me to give them what I had. It wasn’t much, but they began and completed the job. They were actually done with my car in days. And they did not charge me a storage fee while I was earning the rest of the money. I would recommend A.S.E. to anyone who needs quality work done. Great customer service, great work, timely work and EXTREMELY fair pricing. This is a 5 star shop. I will definitely return there if I need any work done.

ASE performed the Maryland State inspection. They did a fine job and their work was appreciated. What was most impressive was ASEs customer service with other customers. They were polite, professional, and helpful. Would recommend for all types of work.

Speedy and Avoidable repair shopI stumbled on A.S.E Auto Center while I was looking for an auto-shop that offer state inspections service at avoidable price. After I completed inspection with them at an avoidable price and I saw how trustworthy they were with the service, I made them my service stop. I have returned back to them numerous times for services without any regrets. All services that I received were of good quality at avoidable prices, and in comparably short wait time.It is hard enough to pay for unexpected repair, but harder to pay exorbitant fees for repairs in shady autoshops where the mechanics are just out their to clean your pocket by performing incomplete and poor repair works. IF YOU WANT YOUR PEACE OF MIND and you want to be certain that you are paying for only what you need at an avoidable price, with service done right the first time, you should check A.S.E Auto Center out.

Updated: My fault for all the time past and my apologies to A.S.E. for having the bad review up longer than it should have been. The manager had a replacement boot within days which means he got right on it. I was called the moment it was in but due to travelling and a bout of the flu, it took me forever to come get it. Where they went so far above and beyond, is that they kept calling. Not at an annoying rate, but just kind of a hey, you didnt forget this right? I found it very professional as I was the one making little effort to contact back. They could have just sent it back and said forget her. Customer service is hard to find but I can tell you its here. After chatting with the manager more, Im going to be bringing my car back. Mistakes will happen. Its how they are handled and I feel in this case, A.S.E. could not have done anything better and Im willing to extend my trust to them.Original:I hate to leave a bad review as the customer service was, for the most part, excellent. I was only there to have a MD State Inspection done on what was a pristine, nary a scratch or stain on it, used truck that I had just picked up. The vehicle is manual and Im rusty so I spend a lot of time looking at both the stick and the ebrake. When I got the car back, we both noticed almost simultaneously that the ebrake had a 3/4-in. slit with some fluff sticking out. I KNOW that was not like that before hand. 100% confident. In addition, there was a greasy boot print on the door but I didnt make a stink as that could have already been there. Unlikely, but possible. There were also grease smudges on my light grey seat covers - brand new. The manager started off by saying it was like that.... and so on... till the absolute annoyance on my face finally had him admit it was possible. I think we left it with he would look for a part. We would do the install. No offense, but I will never let a place that leaves grease and damage work on my vehicle I dont care if its to put on a wiper. This is not my normal mechanic. She would have had someones head for this. I understand mistakes happen - I dont think it was done with malice. Just carelessness. The price was right but its going to cost me in time and money if I have to fix it myself. Again, a shame because I like to use local and I think it was just one bad apple, but the trust is broken. If they find me a new boot, Ill call it even and update the review. They really seem like good folks so its a shame to have this experience.

I was tremendously impressed with the quality of service and general professionalism from the entire staff at ASE Auto. I brought in my 2009 Honda Civic to have some components I purchased from another vendor installed and generally most facilities will only install parts that they provide but they happily obliged no questions asked (There was a disclaimer that if my parts failed, there would no warranty but thats understandable considering I bought them elsewhere).Im having a difficult time deciphering what was more impressive, the reasonable rate I was charged, the mechanical expertise of the staff or just the casual, friendly service of everyone there. Much to my dismay, two components I purchased did not fit correctly. Jon was able to work around the defect and made it fit like it was suppose to fit. Daniel and Danny (There were two Dans there) had to do some custom fabricating (Extend an oxygen sensor?) and fabricate a bracket because once again, it didnt line up the way it was advertised and it looked perfect after they were done.And last but not least, despite the hiccups with the ill fitting parts, not only was it completed within the allotted time, Bryan (I believe he was the owner) didnt charge me a single red cent for all the extra fabrication work that was needed to get it done. Kudos to the team at ASE Auto, I will not hesitate coming back with any and all of my automotive needs.
