The staff is near impeccable. Teddy (alumni director) is a lifesaver and a giver. He truly hung on to me almost daily after I left early. Now he is Doing everything we can to get it back there. My insurance isn’t the easiest. I must thank him the most. He I s so terrific you don’t know. He deserves everything you guys can give him and he is capable of everything. I am thankful to him and also to the staff for saving my life and for taking me back in. TEDDY deserves at least an award and pay raise hopefully.

My experience at banyan was wonderful. It really did save my life. They helped me to begin to love myself again and all of the little things in life that are easily overseen. I’m not too sure how it’s fair to say that anyone who gives it 5 stars has relapsed. (Slightly insulting) I definitely have not. I almost have 8 months a lot of the credit goes to this treatment center and the wonderful friendships that I have made while being there. The staff became my family away from home! I always had a shoulder to lean on at banyan. Not only did they help me with my recovery but they inspired me to work in treatment facilities and become a behavior health technician myself. Teddy is also such an amazing asset to the banyan staff. He is trustworthy, hardworking, and loyal to everyone who goes through banyan. He reminds me that I will always have a support system at banyan. I hear from him every week and he always makes sure that I am okay while also expressing how proud he is of me which goes a very long way. Sobriety can be a hard thing to maintain without a support system but he makes it a lot easier for me. I’ve been in situations where I didn’t know the right path to choose and teddy has ALWAYS helped me out. Overall, I am a proud sober success story and I owe a lot of it to this center! (Also, the food...I miss it every single day)

Banyan Palm Springs help change my life. I have been going in and out of treatment centers for the last 15 years. And Banyan has helped me the most in my recovery. The alumni program is the best resource for us graduates of the program. Teddy Kult is excellent at staying in contact and you can tell he truly cares about the clients and our well beings. The only thing i would recommend is giving the alumni program more funding and allowing the alumni Coordinator options to do things with the current clients and alumni. I would highly recommend this program to anyone struggling with addiction or mental illnesses. Banyan has changed my life forever and i know it will change others as well.

If I could give this place a negative zero I would! I do not even think they deserve that! Banyan makes you feel like you are in prison. They held me again my own will for 13 hours. I had to plead with them to let me make a phone call to my partner because I was not feeling too well. The employees at Banyan are unhappy and understaff and they take out there frustration on the clients. If you have great insurance they will try and make you stay for 30 days. They are more interested in the insurance money then they are about your well being. Also, it doesnt matter what level of detox you are in, they will throw you in with those coming off of heroin, meth, hard stuff, etc... There program is repetitive so after the 1st week you get the information needed for recovery. Banyan takes your rights away as a patient, client, but most importantly as a human. Last complaint, I was in need of medical attention as I was having chest pain and other symptoms. Felicia who works at night refused to call 911 for me. She refused to get me any help because she would prefer I stay in order for her to get paid

I was disappointed. I have been to many treatments centers, even free ones! And this is still the worst. The substance of the groups is non existent. The techs are cool but they can only help so much. The counselors and therapists are never there for questions. Everyone passes you off to the next person. There are. Hardly and 12step groups and anyone who wrote a 5 star review has relapsed. It’s a money thing. They detox you, then rehab you, send you to after care. And when you mess up and get loaded, they bring you back through the same loop. I would recommend, if you’re gonna go to rehab in this area, that you go to Bella Monte instead. You’re more likely to get the treatment you need.

This place was a great experience and I will always be glad I came the staff are great atmosphere is great and most importantly your peers really wanna help each other I have made life long friends 😀 thank you banyan;) for helping me get sober!!

Banyan saved my life. I loved the small patient to staff group counseling ratios. The care for there patients was beyond what I expected. There not just there for a paycheck. I would definitely recommend Banyan to anyone who is serious about getting there life back

Horrible unreliable facility. I can’t believe the level of in professionalism. Banyan doesn’t care about their clients. My first time in treatment and they had the audacity to break HIPPA violations and talk about my recovery o fellow clients. The director doesn’t care and doesn’t respond to phone calls. Unjust company that takes property and doesn’t return personal property. They threatened to call the police on me just for me stating that there was items that may have been misplaced. So now I’m a criminal. There are no results and are very rude when it should have been a more welcoming environment. Rory is unreliable for results and ignores matters that should be addressed. Emily a BHT worker gossips like a high school freshman. Grow up!!! Do not go here it’s pointless and you will regret every penny spent at this organization.

Banyan treatment has introduced me to a new chapter in life which is recovering alcoholic. My perspective in my life and around is totally different. BHT staff Rebecca & Mike, physicians Toni& Stephanie,Dr. Micah, Ted Kult, therapist Ishmael were prime examples of an excellent staff. I’m very grateful for what Banyan has done for me. I was nervous and scared when I first arrived at Banyon Palm Springs. I flew from NY to CA and was ready to beat feet outta there. However the staff at Banyon Palm Springs were exceptionally welcoming. After going through intake It was time to meet some of the other clients. They were equality as welcoming. I think it was the second or third day there I met Teddy Kult the alumni coordinator. This guy is absolutely amazing. Through out my stay at residential and PHP we remained in contact and he was definitely the one staff member that shined brighter then the rest. I am 6 months sober today and still talk to Teddy probably 3-4 times a week. There is the minimum a person can do at there job and then there is Teddy, he is the guy that will go above and beyond to help people in there recovery. The Tuesday Palm spring alumni meetings have been great as well as the Thursday national meetings. I would highly recommend Banyon Palm Springs to anyone ready to fight the fight and get there life on track. Every day Is a battle but the tools and resources I gained from Banyon make each day easier ONE DAY AT A TIME. Thank you to all the staff at Banyon Palm Springs especially Teddy Kult.

This is Lori L. Im from Kansas City Mo, I came to Bayan to receive treatment for my alcohol addiction. The treatment I received was wonderful. The staff really takes the time to give you the help that you need not only for addiction but other needs that you might have. The facility is clean and very comfortable. It was truly a safe place to be. I also received one on one therapy that helped my level of support for my addiction. You will not go hungry staying here, the food and chefs are absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend Banyan for treatment for addiction.

This place truly saved my life. I came in so broken, not once but twice. It wasnt that the program didnt work, but I didnt apply the things I knew to my real life when I left. I couldve went anywhere else, but I knew I had people here that cared about me. I would honestly be dead if I didnt find this facility. I will be forever grateful and always encourage anyone who wants a wonderful rehab experience to call and get in as soon as possible.

My treatment at Bayan has been amazing. Ive been to many treatment centers but Banyan has by far been the best one. The staff here is 100% on your side, they will bend over backwards for you. The Clinical staff here has experience and you can tell that they know what you are going through. They will do anything they can to make sure that you have a successful stay. This is a lovely place if your looking for recovery for your addiction! The food is awesome the beds are comfortable and the staff is extremely laidback yet caring. I almost dont want to leave! Thank you Banyan treatment!

The most amazing staff ever! If youre looking for a solid treatment facility to get you back on the right path this might be your answer. Something very special happened for me here and alot of healing took place. Banyan is the place to go if your ready to get sober and start living life again. They have higher success rates than alot of other treatment facilities as well. Its alot more than about the money here they genuinely care!

Banyan has been a great experience for me. The staff is very helpful and cares about each and every patient and their success in sobriety.

My experience here was very interesting. When I came in I had the gut instinct to stuff my phone and debit cards into my boxers. Unfortunately, I was texting during intake, and was fully busted. Also when I walked through the front door, the quarantine type of acceptance was strange to say the least. But upon taking the blood test and passing with flying colors, the masks were dropped and I can see everyones face. Jeff had a lot of energy, but he assured me that my cigarette rolling would ensure me the least amount of bumming in the facility, which I was happy to here. The Chefs here are amazingly kind and cook 5 star quality of food, most of the time. Adam especially is a uniquely kind-hearted, and has a great sense of humors, which compliments his tremendous caliber of delicious and presentable food.While I was here, I worked with therapist Deb, who behind her gruff persona, had a very sweet and understanding nature. I worked with therapist Bill, who listened to my insanity and rambling without cutting me off. At the end of the session I could feel relieved to have emptied my drawer for the moment and here some great advice of how to manage my emotions. Karen, BHT, is one of the best staff here, she listens and helps me understand how to stay in my own lane, and clear the traffic.Nursing staff is very cool, as long as you dont miss your dose, then good luck. Sal especially as a very holistic approach, with aromatherapy and various spiritual books to really make you think differently.My FAVORITE staff here is Irish, who the minute I saw greeted me with a hug and made me feel so loved. She has handled my case and discharge, with a terrific amount of care and understanding. She has a lighthearted side, and a more serious side - both have been critical in me feeling like I have a solid discharge plan, and what to look out for on the outside.I just want to say thank you to all the staff here for helping me through one of the hardest times of my life, encouraging me to wake up in the morning, encouraging me to be myself, encouraging me to stay on the sober and clean path. Thank you also to the clients I have been here with, who really made the whole program tolerable if not down-right enjoyable. The program here can change your life, and will change your life if you allow it. Forget about your usual desires, because that is what gets you into trouble. You will be without things that distract you from focusing on yourself, and that is truly for the best - no matter how frustrating it can be.Jah Bless and Stay Strong,Drew

They seem to want to do as little as possible to get your money.You know... I have been calling and emailing for months with still little to no results. Everyone there seems to want to pass it on to somebody else. And offer no clear answers as to why they cannot seem to get their act together.I would really appreciate it if someone in that outfit would please take charge and actually do what they say that they are going to do. Lack of accountability is running rampant over there.Come to think of it. Its odd how I get a faster response to my review than to my calls or emails.

Recently very close friend spent some time at Sunspire Health in Cathedral City. Wow, what a difference this place has made for my friend. I just wanted to say thank you to all the staff at this location, fantastic work.

I went here two years ago, and had an awesome experience! Caring staff and counselors, amazing food, and had a lot of fun along with gaining knowledge! The best treatment facility ive been to out of the ten i have gone to in the past. Have had an amazing experience with recovery afterwards as well, THANK YOU DESERT PALMS!!

Techs were great luved they had history to relate, therapist was more systematic than individual which upset me, everyone is different and was reading print outs from 2 weeks b4 because 2 weeks of patients have left ?? What ???? Was no individual counseling getting to know what made u get there and what u made u click, sad, just a number and another insurance claim ! Would not go back !!! Techs were great, food blah, sell u on pool sad
