Wow. I have always tried to support this local organization. We just did an entire house reorganization, top to bottom, and had many gently used to brand new things to donate. So many things that we had to bring them in a trailer. We called and made an appointment ahead of time. Yet when we arrived we were made to feel as if they were upset, irritated, and inconvenienced by the large amount donations. We will support Salvation Army from now on. What a disappointment.

I went on Monday for the food bank and a voucher to their treasures store. Kristin is who I met with. Thank your for showing me the love of God. Sharon at the front desk, thank you for being kind to me. The food bank staff, thank you for being kind as well. You never know the pain that a person maybe in when they come before you. World always with your heart try and show someone kindness. We need that in this world of hatred. You never know when a person is holding on by a thread of hope. God Bless the staff at help and hope. May people in your life show you guys love and kindness and well . Continous blessings over your organization. Amen

I felt they were discriminatory, impatient andone volunteer was downright nasty.I think the churches that donate here need to know they discriminate and administer church funding negatively. They do run a decent Thrift Store, but its crowded and I find it difficult to manage due to a disability I have.My first experience with them was good, but it just did not lastThey really need to dispense with the one nasty volunteer I keep getting.Bad volunteers help nothing. Churches may think people are being helped when they are not.

They are prejudiced and I was disappointed. They are located 30 minutes from my home same as Trilakes cares. I prefer to go to Castle Rock but they would not help me. I live in Elbert. The representative embarrassed me.

Please share and DONATE your items, FOOD and MONEY the HELP AND HOPE CENTER.At times even you need these services the most, these people are here to help. They do an amazing job of helping so many. The food pantry is clean, organized to a fault, and the staff is always there to help you!At most food pantries you are not able to get by and arw at a loss as to how your going to make ends meet when you having a hard time. Unfortunately this is the case for many people. The Hope Center does a great job providing an adequate supply of food for families in need and much more. The thrift store next door is amazing. Get in there and check out their selection of clothes ladies, no kidding. Trying to save money on a work wardrobe? This is the place to be, plus your helping a good cause! This outfit here was just pennies compared to what it would have been at a store. Everything pretty much brand new.Mens, womens, and children .Thank you for all you do for so many.

This place is filled with amazing angels! The people are compassionate and there to help anyone in need. I have had the honor to volunteer there and will continue to be a part of this wonderful nonprofit organization in the future! The services and resources they provide for those in need are above and beyond and the people behind the help-well, are just the kindest people you can ever meet.

I absolutely love this place, everyone who I have worked with have been amazing. So helpful! You can get assistance with food monthly and also help with clothes everyone 60 days or 2 months.I was suggest calling and getting an appointment if you do need help, they only see 20 families a day.Right next door they do have a wonderful clothing store and furniture place. Check it, decently priced items. If you are not sure if the cloths fit, they have a dressing room.

This place was unknown to me. They are the most helpful, knowledgeable and compassionate leaders in our community. Jean is a wonderful director. Marion is a hidden gem within this organization. I volunteer my cleaning service and they have rewarded me 10 fold.

These people are so rude. They make up different rules each month. They give dirty looks constantly like this is a huge inconvenience to have to DEAL with people who are looking for help. Its not fun to be treated like this. If you dont like what youre doing, STOP DOING IT.

Website says theyre open till 4 pm. I showed up at between 2:45 and 2:50 p.m. and was told they closed at 3 pm. I asked if I could drop off the car load of clothes I had and they told me to come back the next day between 9 and 3 ??? Apparently they decided to close down the receiving dock a bit early today. My wife has had some similar incidents in the past as well. Goodwill doesnt turn away gifts like this, at least not in my experience.

Found a lot of items that are popular designer brands very high priced. Takes away from the idea of finding a treasure for a good price. Saw used designer shirts 20- 30 dollars.

Worst place to go in Castle Rock or Douglas CountyThey are bigoted and judgmental and if you end up homeless they will tell you you need to leave Douglas County because theyre not friendly towards people like you even though they have single homeless walking around everywhere if you have children and animals they want you to get the hell outThey have offered me money to leave their town even tho its my home and town too

I was dropping off items and the guy that was taking donations was beyond rude. I cant believe that a center that offers people hope treats those of us that are donating items in this way. This is the last time Ill bring anything to them.
