I went in for an oil change, and brought my own oil as they dont sell royal purple. They charged me 50$ for a simple oil change. They tried to charge 7 bucks to top of my radiator, which was totally full. There was no line, nobody waiting, but the still rushed me through. They went so fast they CROSS THREADED my oil filter! I was leaking oil, till I had to change it again after only a couple thousand miles because of their incompetence. Never go here.

I went in for an oil change and the honest wonderful manager said I still had 180 days or x miles... who does that??? ... Great companies! They did switch out my wipers and good thing, ran into a huge storm in the Mountains. Going today to get my Trucks oil change (it needs it).

The crew that works at this Grease Monkey are great! Tom the manager is awesome. They all kept me up to date on where things were at with the oil change, my filters, and the brakes.

I had been working in my yard all day and was dressed accordingly for yard work and when I was called to the desk to give my address information I gave the gentleman my home address and he assumed that I was renting an apartment. He asked me for the unit number and I explained again that it is a home and he asked me if there was a unit number. I will never go back to Grease Monkey because I did not approve of being pre-judged based by my color or clothing that I was wearing.

The staff at this location is very helpful. They do not over charge nor are they pushy when we get our oil changed here. We were happily surprised that they even vacuumed the floor of our car. Appreciated!

I needed an oil change while I was out of town. I called 3 places near me and chose Grease Monkey because they were most affordable, guaranteed a half hour or less, and could get me in right away on a Friday morning at 9 (first come, first serve). They kept their word and also offered to change my head light that was out. I was happy to get all of my car needs taken care of so quickly in one place.

I drove from Littleton to this Grease Monkey in Castle Rock. The team was amazing and very through. There Mgr Tom made sure that my vehicle ran smoothly. Thanks so much. I will be going back.

First, the attendant tried to start my truck in gear (its a stick shift). Fortunately for her, the engine didnt catch, so all it did was leap forward towards the bay doors a foot or two. Then when I left, I got a little lecture from the guy at the counter about how big diesel trucks are bad, and how I need to buy something Japanese with 4-cylinders. Turns out he was wrong. What I really needed was to take my business a little further down the street to someone who hires more competent people and has counter help who keep their opinions to themselves. Lucky for me, there are plenty of good options for next time.

I made an online appointment for 9 AM. I arrived on time and they told me that they would do their best to get me in? I said I had an appointment. The Manager said they are like a Doctors office - just because your appointment is at one time it does not mean that is when you get in. I said I dont go to Doctors like that and drove 3 minutes up the street to change my oil. The Manager was very unprofessional.

These guys sent me away when I mistakenly thought it was time for an oil change, came back a few weeks later and they were quick and kind!

Devin and Shiana really did an awesome job making me feel taken care of. They even vacuumed my car!!! Sooo quick and professional! I dont know how they got my tires topped off my fluids topped off and my oil done in such a short amount of time. While having time to vacuum. Wow someone throw these workers a bone cause Im coming back for all my cars here.

Called before I went, asked specifically how much it would cost for my 4Runner. I was told a started at $72.99. Once inside the office with my SUV being worked on, I found out there was a $5 extra charge for the oil filter, WHAT not included? I couldve bought this filter from the Toyota dealer for $4.95. And an extra $15 for oil. Definitely felt like I was mislead. Just tell me the real price upfront. Wont go back.

Have had this issue twice now. They are nice and okay but can be condescending. I usually do not understand a lot, and I onlyCome for an oil change and the guy at the front desk usually has aLittle attitude. To be honest, I avoided coming to get my oil changed here a lot because of that reason

Brought the girls to get an oil change today, our first time there. Seeing I have 4 daughters the man helping asked me if I am the Dad who called ahead to make sure my girls get something special. I kinda stumbled saying that must have been someone else... He left for a little and came back with 4 roses, told the girls what a special Dad they have to call ahead and think of them. It made their day. It made my day. Great customer service goes a long way and we will def be back!

Horrible customer service, look for help somewhere else. I had a similar experience to others who have reviewed this place. It seems if you have a request they don’t care to deal with they’ll tell you it will take a very long time or do whatever they can to drive you away. They have lots of competitors who are very close who will give you much better service.

They tried to tell me my car (Hyundai Santa Fe) all of a sudden required the most expensive oil they had (of course). I’d been here several times prior and always got the basic oil that comes with the basic service with no issues. I’m driving a Hyundai, not a Ferrari. Staff is rude. Namely the individual who works behind the computer in the building. Upsells you and wont listen when you tell him to only fix what you want him to fix. Very unprofessional. Have your oil changed at the firestone across the street for 25 instead of 50 just ask for coupon at the counter. 1/10 wouldnt recommend. There are other viable, more professional options near-by.

Today I visited your castle rock location for a top off service. After pulling my car in and going inside the manager or somebody comes up to me and says hey your a quart and a half low we only do 1 quart between oil changes so the other half a quart is on you. To which I replied no problem I’m happy to pay for it and then he tells me no I need to go get it from somewhere else and put it in myself. I even said are you kidding me? I to,d him me and my family will never be back.Seriously, how this is what you guys think might be good customer service in any way I do not know. If I could give you zero stars I would and FU.I’ve been coming to your location for over 12 years and I will never be back

Daughters 1st oil change. They walked her through the process and explained the entire service.

Asked specifically for the Engine coolant to be topped off yesterday during the oil change, was told it takes a lot of time as its a sealed system that has to cool down prior to opening. I said, Ill wait as the Engine Coolant Low light had just come on briefly the day before. The engine coolant was not topped off at all. This is the second time in 6 months ill be bringing the car back for engine coolant that wasnt added during the oil change process. Ridiculous that this location does everything they can do to minimize the work performed on my vehicle when Im paying for those services....Seems to be an issue from the management down to the employees. Missing the fluid top off once...i get it. now it just seems like standard practice.

Took my car into Grease Monkey a couple days ago and when I got home I checked my oil and my dip stick was completely dry. I called and said I would be coming back, they said make it here by 5 or on Monday undermining the fact that my vehicle had no oil in it. When I went back they were very rude, unprofessional and undermining their mistake. Do not take you car there, they will charge you way over price to not even do the work.

Its great being able to pull up without an appointment and get almost any routine maintenance done.Ive been to this location about 4 times and it has consistently taken about 30 minutes for my oil change. This past time it took a little longer and I was having extra services done. One employee, who appeared to be the store manager, was giving great customer service and taking the time to explain the who/what/when/where/why/how to car maintenance to customers. I found his explanations very helpful to someone with limited understanding of car mechanics.Overall, I will go back to this location again.

In and out in like 16 minutes and the counter guy was really cool! Had a great conversation while I got the work truck taken care of.

Workers were efficient and reasonable, they made sure that I didnt pay for more than agreed to, and was in and out in less than an hour.

I recently moved to Colorado. Simple oil change was all I needed. Saturday Well I waited for about 20mins. Nobody had even approached me. The person under the vehicle was on her phone not paying very much attention. More to her phone. As I watched the services being done still not a person asked what I needed. I understand it was busy. But what made me not wanna stay and get service was the way the under vehicle person speech was very slurred and had a hard time getting the names of what was being tightened. They have great communication. I should have asked to speak to the manager on duty. Not going back.

Ive always been treated quickly and respectfully here, given plenty of opportunities to ask questions and choose products and services. They consistently get my oil changed in 20 minutes or so and show good customer service.

I’ve been visiting Grease Monkey centers as a loyal customer since 1999. With a recent move with my job to Castle Rock I now have frequented the store on Front Street in Castle Rock several times now... they really are fantastic. Every visit they have exceeded my expectations, and that’s hard to do!!! Keep up the good work guys!!! 🤩

I was referred here by another location, and am extremely happy that I was. My car had a bad wheel bearing, and when they inspected it, it turned out to be a lot worst. The wheel bearing had locked into the knuckle and was unable to be removed, to make my car safe to drive both needed replaced. Not only was grease monkey staff able to locate both parts, and have them delivered on a late saturday, they remained late (after hours) and did quality work to install the parts and assure my cars safety. They were even able to find a discount that could be applied. I cant express my gratitude to grease monkey and its staff enough. Thank you.

I love coming here to get my oil changed. They are kid friendly and the waiting area and bathroom are always clean. I know I can trust them and not be price gouged on any extra services they offer. Were always in an out of there very quickly and I drive away with a vacuumed van as well! Grease Monkey makes this momma very happy.

I sent my 17 year old daughter over to these guys on her own (for her first ever oil change). Little worried as a dad, but shes gotta learn how to to take care of her car! After this location change the oil on my truck. I had a leak that wasnt there before. I took the truck into a different business to service it. Someone at this Grease Monkey location over tightened the drain plug and broke the seal.

It was my first time at a Grease Monkey and I will be going back. I rolled in at closing time hoping to squeeze in an oil change before a road trip. They did not hesitate to accommodate. It was quick, the customer service was fantastic and I really appreciate them staying a little later, it would have been easier to say no, we close in 5 minutes. Brandon, Kyle and their crew were friendly and efficient. I am ready for my road trip.

Do not go here.... Twice now Ive left without an oil change. The first time I had to leave because they kept moving my car around in the queue. People that had arrived well after I did were getting serviced ahead of me. I left and found a much better place. That place was demoed for construction so I gave this GM another chance and it went well. Now I show up and the tell me they will only put the expensive synthetic oil in the car and I have no choice. WOW 125000 miles of regular oil, it runs great, but now it can only run with the double the cost synthetic oil. Its too bad these places are so greedy. I found another place that did let me choose my oil so at least Im set for now.

Im a big fan of Grease Monkey. My first time at this location and I was not disappointed. Great as usual.

Requested traditional oil change and lube, got into truck to leave, oil and grime on steering wheel, no big deal, on freeway going home, hood released but safety catch saved the day. Arrived home,20 minute drive, the 3 grease zerkes were not greased. Called and mgr. and he said the weather needs to be just right before they grease even though it was 68 degrees. Not what mfg suggests! Had truck for 19 years and never had issue with hood. Seemed a bit sloppy!

Friendly and fast. In and out usually. Good service. Fair prices. Oil changes but not hardcore mechanic work.

I went to the shop before they were open as I had to be at work in the Springs in the afternoon. The manager came out, greeted me, and took note of my problem(s). He then instructed me to park in front of one of the garages so they could start working as soon as they opened. They not only had my car in first and were diligent in checking for any issues but did went above and beyond what I expected by spaying off a lot of oil and grease accumulation on the engine and underneath the hood. Wonderful service and they had me and my car back on the road in no time!

Easy in and out, super fast service. Illbet we were only there 10 minutes. They make changing your oil ohhh sooo easy.

Its Saturday morning, only 1 person on duty, 5 customers in waiting, I feel bad for the gal, its gonna be a long day for her. Saturday is a pretty busy day around here, you would think that ownership would have this place FULLY STAFFED, and READY for business by 8am sharp!! This isnt the first time for this problem

Hard and a little confusing to get to. They found an additional problem with my car but didnt pressure me into having them fix it, they did ask if I wanted them to. There is good customer service and a comfortable waiting area.

These guys exceed my expectations! Not only did they change my oil, but topped off the coolant, window washer fluid, and checked my battery and tires. They even washed my windows and vacuumed the floors in my car. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Very impressed!

Ive been taking both of my vehicles here since I moved to castle rock - I love the service I get here! As a woman I am naturally wary of auto mechanics, but these guys are absolutely honest and polite! They do a wonderful job servicing my cars and in a timely manner. My husband went to this location today to get my oil changed in my car. This was our first time going to this location for grease monkey as we just moved to castle rock a few months ago. Upon arriving, he was handed a slip and told to hold onto it. No further directions. Which was odd because at every other grease monkey location we’ve been to, we’ve never been handed a slip. My husband headed inside and took a seat. Several minutes gentleman at the counter asked “do you have a car here or something?”. My husband said yes, the Jeep is mine. To which the guy snatched the slip out of his hand and stated he needed to get him in the system. My husband, taken back by his rudeness, explained to him he didn’t know the process for this location and that he didn’t need to act that way. The man behind the counter simply told him “well this is how we do it here”. They completed changing my oil and then the man behind the counter took my husband outside and briefly explained what they did with my car. My husband asked to speak with a supervisor, because he wanted to file a complaint for the lack of customer service he recieved as a PAYING customer.... only to learn that this same guy was the supervisor. Clearly my husband would get no where with him, so he grabbed my keys from the guy and left.One star for pure lack of customer service. And for just being plain rude. We will never use this location again.

Had my oil changed here and was pleasantly surprised when the technician showed me that the fluids were full and the caps were all tightened.

Change the oil. Technician should me the dipstick and said it was in the safe zone. It was a 1/2 quirt low. On a oil change should it not be full?

Most of the time the service here is great. There are always quick to pull your car back and do the oil change in a timely manner as well. I have several vehicles and are usually take them to Grease Monkey to have the oil changed when its time for that particular car. Well I was taking in a 1998 Suburban for its regular oil change and was told by one of the staff that they could not do the oil change because the oil plug was stuck. Now the previous will change have been done by the same Grease Monkey at the same location so if something was wrong with the oil plug then it had to have happened in their care. I was told that there was no mechanic there that wanted to try and remove the plug so that the oil could be changed, I was given suggestion by one of the staff to visit the Parker Greasemonkey location that they would have a mechanic who could remove the plug and give me a good price to do it. Like I said the previous oil change was done by this Grease Monkey so I didnt feel like I should have to pay to have the plug removed this is something that should have been done for me as a courtesy because they were the only ones to touch the oil pan and plug. To shorten the story they did not fix the problem in my oil was not changed, my husband had to go in and mess around with the plug to remove it and change the oil. Since then I have taken other vehicles in for oil change at the same location because like I said usually the service is very good. But because of the oil plug incident on the Suburban I could not give them more than three stars.

I pulled in and got my oil changed. They were super fast and efficient! They also managed to fix my light panel -- the dials had pushed into my dash so I couldnt use them. It made my day!!

I was changing shops for my oil changes and they sure made it easy to find somewhere else. My first experience was a rude front desk person who condescendingly told me to park in front of a bay door. The person writing up my service was rude and ignored my comments. I go back inside with the order and stand there while the front desk person ignored me while talking on the phone. I asked the attendant to get my car, she looked exasperated and slowly retrieved my car. Rude, no customer service whatsoever. The store wasnt busy either...1/15/19 @ 0830 hrs.

Truly pathetic. I needed a normal oil change. Within 3 minutes of arriving my car was pulled in to the car port. There was only 1 other vehicle in the shop. 45 minutes later it still wasnt done. Ive had my oil changed at grease monkeys all over Denver. This was embarrassingly slow.

Do not have your car serviced at Grease Monkey! We took our 2014 Audi A5 to the Castle Rock station for a simple oil change and it cost us a new engine! A local Audi dealership and an independent Audi expert mechanic concluded that a Grease Monkey employee dislodged the oil dispersion baffle, causing extensive engine damage. The engine had to be replaced and it cost us thousands of dollars!We were treated like scammers when we contacted the VP at the Denver corporate office to discuss the damage. The VP was convinced that we were trying to pull a fast one on Grease Monkey. There was absolutely no interest in discussing the damage to the engine. The VP said, I dont THINK we damaged it, and that was it. He did not initiate an inspection by an independent party or insurance claims adjuster. The store manager and VP clearly did not want to deal with us. Customers do not come first at Grease Monkey!My husband and I initiated several phone calls to the corporate office requesting a resolution/inspection. They totally blew us off. I told the VP during our last conversation that we would be pursuing legal action. At this time, the VP demanded to know where our car was located to have it inspected. His exact words were I have a right to have the car examined if Im going to be sued for this kind of money. The only time Grease Monkey reacted was to save their own skin! Keep this in mind before you let the pit crew service your car!We agreed to an inspection at the dealership because we had nothing to hide. The mechanic who inspected the car was not independent. There was a conflict of interest as he has a business relationship with Grease Monkey (providing training to employees as an instructor). The Audi Service Manager informed us that the mechanic was a medium/heavy truck and school bus technician. He did not have extensive experience with the Audi engine and he was completely unfamiliar with the oil dispersion baffle attachment and damages to it. Unfortunately, we didnt hear back from the VP after the inspection. Based on our experience, this company operates with a complete lack of accountability and professionalism, and their pit crew is not trained to service luxury cars!My response to owners response below:The mechanic hired by your company to inspect our car is not an expert in servicing or repairing luxury cars and he definitely lacks independence. He has been paid by your company to provide training to Grease Monkey employees. His specialty is medium/heavy trucks and school buses. Your mechanic had to be directed to the damaged baffle by the Audi Service Manager during the inspection. Actually, he asked to see an undamaged baffle in a different Audi because he doesnt specialize in Audi cars. The baffle was dislodged by your pit crew, and the damage did not occur 10,000 miles after the oil change. The damage occurred when your pit crew dislodged the baffle during the oil change.Furthermore, the VP offered absolutely no solutions during our brief conversations with him. He didnt follow up with us after the inspection. The comment below to contact him at any time is extremely ill-advised. Apparently, he has been directed to not respond. The only response we received is on social media after posting a negative review. Need I say more?

I went in today for an oil change. On the service card, I chose the $59 oil change. As expected, one of their employees was back in the door within 5 minutes telling me that I needed new filters. The price on the price list was $13, and so I said okay. My total bill was $151.00. Yep. For an oil change. What a bunch of crooks. And, by the way, I sat in the waiting room listening to them bandy about the F word while working on my car. DONT GO HERE!!
