He flagged it for careful observation and on a subsequent visit he verified the issue by experience and backed up with state of the art diagnostic tools that confirmed the tooth was starting to split apart. Dr. Palliser took the time to explain what was happening to my molar and then recommended options to save the tooth. I followed his advise to crown the molar. During the process of fitting the crown, I was very impressed with his high degree of skill that only comes with knowledge and a vast experience in the art and science of his dental practice. In my last visit, Stevie (the Dental Hygienist) did a great job (as always) in cleaning and prepping my teeth for the exam. His attention to detail and providing special amenities to his patients (i.e. TVs mounted above the chair for the patient to view for both entertainment during the procedure and for informational purposes) is first class. My husband and I have been going to Dr. Palliser for almost 20 years. He is excellent at explaining the work to be done, pros and cons when there are options, and truly cares about his patients. Sometimes he shows you photos of the area to be repaired. He fixed a chip in my front tooth, and the fix was expected to last 5 years due to its location on the leading edge of the tooth, but its going on at least 10 years now. He also did all my gold work, and it is much more durable than work done by previous dentists. Highly recommended!

Over the past 20 years, I’ve had twice-yearly cleanings and 3 crowns. Dr. Palliser is spot on in diagnosing problems and getting the best solution. Perfect every time. Had a great cleaning/floss-coaching today with Stevie before I met with Dr. Palliser. She really helped on how I can clean better around a very hard-to-clean implant I have. My family has been seeing Dr. Palliser for over 10 years. We have since moved out of Cary, but continue to see Dr. Palliser because he is the best! When you have your exam, Dr. Palliser is gentle, patient, and kind. He has installed TVs on the ceiling for you to watch, which I find makes me more comfortable. When Dr. Palliser does your exam, he asks you if you have any issues or concerns, and then checks your mouth teeth and gums for overall health. I never feel as if he is hunting for cavities to drill and fill. If he sees something that looks suspicious or what could be the beginning of a cavity, he will place a “watch” on it as long as it isn’t causing any pain or other issues. I have some spots that he has been watching for 8 years. The office staff at this point feel like family, but to be honest, they always kind of did. Linda and Dawn at the front desk are fantastic and always make sure to ask how the family is doing. The hygienist Stevie and Dr. Paul’s assistant Lynda are so sweet and knowledgeable and are always making sure that you are comfortable. The office has done a great job making the office safe while we are dealing with the continued COVID 19 pandemic. They have made social distancing a priority around the whole office. They check your temperature, and have even purchased special air filters/purifiers for every room to clean the air. Thank you for all you do Dr. Paul, Linda, Dawn, Lynda, & Stevie. I highly recommend!!!

Dr. Paul and his staff are great. They make you feel at ease and they truly care about your health, not just your teeth. They have a lot of options for appointment times, which makes it easy to get in for cleanings and other work when you have a busy schedule. Office staff is helpful with appointments and insurance issues. Both my kids feel comfortable when getting cleanings and the hygienists are very good with kids and make them feel welcome and relaxed. Paul is a true professional and knows his stuff. He is Michelangelo when it comes to crowns and veneers. He is straight with you when it comes to issues and presents you all the options when it comes to treatments. Very professional at all times, but also fun to talk with, the entire staff is.

Im just going to come straight out and say that Doctor Palliser and his staff are nothing short of personal heroes to me! Dr. Paul is a VERY experienced dentist that instills confidence and trust. He is a true professional while also very compassionate and caring. A few weeks ago on a Saturday afternoon I had an emergency situation with a tooth and was in extreme pain. I was utterly miserable. The office was closed that Saturday however Dawn, one of the staff, kindly called me back (on her day off) and told me that Dr. Paul and his wife had been downstate all day dropping their son off at school and were probably somewhere in the middle of Illinois on the way back but she would give him a call. So then, instead of going home after a long day of driving and oh yeah moving a kid into college, Doctor Paul and and his lovely wife, Lynn.(who runs the office), drove straight to the office to meet me as soon as they could get there. Dr. Paul graciously performed my emergency root canal while we watched Welcome Back Kotter re-runs. We didnt get out of there until after 7 p.m. Im sure it was a very long day for Doctor Paul and Lynn. I thanked both of them profusely and they acted like it was no big deal. I felt like I was treated very much like family. Quite heartwarming really. I wasnt charged any kind of emergency extra fee and in fact the bill was extremely reasonable. I left that day free of pain, a warm heart, and the theme song from Welcome Back Kotter stuck in my head almost for like three weeks now :-) I just start singing it out loud when Im alone. I cant help it. So then, thanks Doctor Paul, thanks Lynn, thanks John Sebastian, thanks Dawn, thanks Kayla, thanks Linda for everything you all you do! Its all of you who make it such a great office! Dr. Palliser has been my dentist for close to 20 years now. 17 years ago, when I moved an hour away from the Cary area, I decided that I would not look for another dentist closer to home because Dr. Palliser and his staff are the best! DR Palliser was so professional, detailed, and reassuring about every step of my exam. I learned more about my dental health and future plan from him than any other dental practice Ive been too!. Ive already referred him to anyone that will listen.

Dr. Palliser has been my dentist for quite some time; in my opinion he is one of the best. He makes you feel at ease and always takes the time to talk with you; I never feel like Im just another patient. His staff is pretty awesome also. I recommend you give him a try.

Dr. Palliser is an outstanding Dentist. Hes always thorough and explains all treatments. His office staff and hygienests are always welcoming and professional. Going to the Dentist sucks but going to Dr. Palliser doesnt. Highly recommend this dentist!

Have you ever wanted to ask your health care provider who they see for their health care? I am a dentist. After seeing the excellent care Dr. Palliser had provided his patients I asked him if he would provide dental care for my family and myself. Dr. Palliser agreed accept us as patients in his practice. I have since discovered that he provides dental care for other dentists and their families. That says it all; Dr. Palliser, the dentists dentist. Paul had to place two crowns in my mouth over the past few years (Recommendation: Do not eat popcorn or chew ice!). The necessary procedures couldnt have gone easier (His crowns are holding up nicely even now when tested by chewing ice. Some habits are hard to give up.) Seriously, even when a dentist is the patient and climbs into the dental chair they experience the same apprehension as everyone else does. In my case it stems from my experiences with dental care received as a child. Well, now my apprehension dissipates almost immediately after Paul and his staff enter the operatory. Their friendliness always puts me at ease. And to me, most important of all, the dental work has always been excellent.

From cleaning to crowns, Dr. Palliser and his staff are incredibly kind and wonderful. My family has been coming to this office for years and are very happy with their services. A top notch dentist!
