One successful conversation with a promise to call back to schedule a viewing followed by 5 calls to them going to a full voicemail box over the period of two weeks. No attempt to call back or if they did call back, no message was ever left/they hung up before my phone even registered the call. The woman sounded very short and irritated on the initial call so at this point even if they were to contact us with a dream property, I would not rent from them.

Many thanks to Craig for getting our house rented in less than a week! He did all the work....pictures, postings, showings and gave us practical advice about what to fix up (or not). All the docs could be signed online. Were off to a great start!!

Weve been renting from Bev for more than a year now, and this has by far been our best experience as tenants with a property management company. If theres ever a maintenance issue, someone is over to fix it within the next day or two. The contractors they work with are great-- weve had people over to fix our fireplace, check the attic for squirrels, fix plumbing, and theyve all been super friendly and good at their jobs. The online portal makes submitting paperwork, rent and maintenance requests really easy. Also, if I ever have a question for the property owner, Bev relays it to them immediately and is back with an answer super quickly. Highly recommend!

If I have a choice, I would give her minus 100. We rented house from her between 2017 to 2020. I had to break the lease as my job moved to Texas, she scammed us for $5926. She is always in favor of Landlord. Her lack of decision power and negligence cost us badly. She charged us $1300 toPaint the house to save money to land lord, which wasn’t the part of lease agreement. We clearly said “NO” to that, she took out of security deposit. She made us pay almost 2 months of rent, while she & Land lord working at snail speed to move forward, coated us $2526. She tricked us to add promotion from Our pocket worth $1200. Also, she didn’t do anything in-terms of advertising, charged us $900. Total scam worth of $ 5926. Legal action is under way against her. But my personal advise to stay away from renting anything from this business.Don’t be fooled by good. review of landlords, read the real reviews of real tenant.

My fiance and I were working with this company on a property for rent that they manage.As we are paying fees and going through the process they already had accepted another applicant. I personally feel like it was a waste of our valued time and money to go through the process while they were already in negotiation with another client. That should be illegal as this is technically a scam to get more applicants paying fees for one rental property.Then the owner Bev, then lies to me and said she called my fiance regarding the decision but actually never called her.To add, the company (Resident Research) they used for credit check, background check, etc, messed up our monthly income by $5000, then sent in the correct income AFTER we were declined. If I hadnt took a look at the report, no one would have caught that big mistake, this makes since as to why we were unprofessionally declined.

My boyfriend and I are looking to relocate to NC from another state. When I emailed Bev about one of their properties she was very short and didn’t even answer my questions. She seemed like she was bothered to help us. So I didn’t feel comfortable asking her any other questions after my initial email was answered with such lack of information and interest. Against my better judgment we applied for the property anyway. We thought since we have really good credit scores, have good jobs lined up, and have no issues in background checks and credit cards we would have gotten approved. Instead we got denied and the reasons were as follows:Oldest bank account is too new (we are 21 and 23) we both opened our bank accounts when we were 16My boyfriend has too much money in his savings account (My personal favorite reason)Balances on his loans are too high (bc we own a home and since we want to relocate we are obviously going to sell it)So we paid $50 for these people to give us horrible customer service and deny us bc we are responsible young adults. We will not be viewing anymore of their properties. If you are looking to relocate from another state I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone. They make it really difficult to rent their properties, and like I said Bev was bothered to have to email me. This has by far been the worst customer service I have ever received when looking for a home to rent, it’s a shame because the home was honestly beautiful. Overall just very disappointing and upsetting that this was our first application process and it was so horrible.

Honestly, Bev would be an outstanding management company if she learned to be responsive physically to emails for some reason she never got my emails. And to treat all tenants with the same level of respect and attentiveness to those renting $3000 homes or $900 homes. She will do great managing your properties TRUST ME! Let me share a story, I had wanted to get out of my lease is February I found several people interested in applying for the unit. I also offered to transfer my deposit to the new renter. And they agreed to move in as is as in Bev would not have to Turn it. As a management company and seeing as it took several price reductions and months to even get me to rent it out. They should’ve jumped on it, instead of Bev making a smart decision she said I would HAVE to breach my contract. Because it’s considered subletting. It’s definitely not subletting if someone is applying directly through you. It’s about wether or not you would allow me to get out of my lease. When I said I’m not breaching and I’ll tough it out a few months she told me to tell “my friends” (again several people were interested) it would be available when I move out. They were random people I didn’t know they just all had good credit no background and no evictions that made over 3 times the monthly rent. I explained to her that these people are ONLY interested in this in its “non updated” in nicer terms unit because I would transfer my deposit this is what people usually do for lease transfers. And her response well we don’t want people like that moving in because it they are only moving in because of the deposit and it shows they can’t pay it? Okay... As far as maintenance request go they are SUPER responsive, which is awesome on their part, the only issues I have that still haven’t been addressed are the leaky toilets that I never had issues with until the floor was fixed and valves that have been replaced 2 times already. Also, broken front door frame. I don’t think either are still not fixed from her directly but the property owner himself not approving the work or not having money for the work? Who knows. All the staff in the office were also phenomenal Amy, is very sweet. Nadia is responsive to emails and Craig always follows up. I believe I left a very thorough review as some are biased I hope this will help with your decision!

I was ripped off by this Company. June 10th, I sent a email to terminate the lease early. I clearly stated that the company could advertise the property right away. I asked for a two weeks notice to vacate. Also in that email I stated if unable to find occupants before lease was up I would not be signing new lease or stay month to month. Basically I would stay in the townhome until end of the lease or new tenants were found. I was told to sign a Notice to Vacate for September 30th which was the end of my lease. July 3rd two and half weeks later tenants were found. I signed a new Notice to Vacate for the 19th at his request. Also in that July 3rd email he said Once I get this back from you I will let you know if it is 100% ago and when it is signed. Couples days later he called complaining that if I vacate on the 19th he would not have enough time to inspect the property. I agreed to try to leave earlier. I left on July 17th. Sent email and called to let him know I vacated property. He never mentioned that the tenants had changed their minds until August 8th when I complained about my refund. I was cheated out my money. My mistake was I accepted a verbal request for me to vacate early to inspect property and not get a email for proof especially since he sent a email that said Once I get this back from you I will let you know if it is 100% ago and when it is signed. I tried to resolve this issue with the company but was refused the rest of my money instead I received this Hello- new tenants lease start date of 7/22/20. Your lease officially 7/21/20. Plus, utilities were cut off so we couldnt do any necessary work as it was. Due to you wanting to vacate earlier it would be dependent on the new tenant lease start date and not when you were actually out. Your lease would be in effect up through new tenants start date which was the 22nd of July. The calculations are correct. I understand this statement but do not agree because of the conversation we had over the phone of him asking me to leave early and him not notifying me that the tenants change the date. Not sure why I was responsible for the utility company shutting of utilities I had no control over that all I did was told the utility my move out day. I left that townhouse clean, cleaner than when I moved in. Bev Roberts Rental & Property Management are a very helpful rental agency that were quick to respond to my questions/request. I just finished a year long rental contract with Bev Roberts Rentals & Property Management. The housing we rented was beautiful and the rent wasnt too expensive. The earnest money deposits were a bit pricey but that is fully refunded when you move out, as long as you kept the property in good shape. My only advice for future renters is make sure you read the rental contract VERY CAREFULLY before you sign anything! Especially if you are signing a lease with a roommate because sometimes one will want to move out before the lease ends while the other wants to stay.

Bev Roberts Rental agency has been an ease to work with. The lease signing and deposits are straight forward and very convenient with the E-lease setup. Once approved we were given our keys promptly and could move in right away. There were a few things the house needed fixed when we moved in and Bev got some contractors on it right away. Our heat also went out in the most recent snow storm, luckily we had a fire place, but Bev also got a heat/air emergency specialist out to our house within a few hrs and everything was fixed. Overall my experience has been wonderful, issues were fixed immediately and the house is in great shape. These agency takes their work seriously. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a hassle free rental.

It has been a rocky start but once we called and talked to our property manager directly he quickly responded to our concerns and had people out there next day. My big issue is there was work done on the master suite prior to us moving in the repair workers did not clean up after themselves... Paint spanner over all surfaces and bathroom not cleaned up but everyone since moving in had been helpful.

I have encountered multiple instances of mice and roaches in my home and it is due to the home structure and many openings around hvac, foundation and crawl space as determined by exterminators and contractors. Bev continues to try and fix this on the cheap and not address the real problems which makes the problems happen over and over again. Emails and phone calls are many times ignored and posting repair request on the portal have proven to be useless as well. Bev needs to be more responsive to situations like this and address them correctly and the right way the first time. Have your home checked prior to moving in by your own exterminator. My neighbors warned me upon move in that the house was not well kept and they were right.

We have been using Bev for over 15 years. She has ALWAYS found us tenants really quickly, typically in less than 4 weeks. She also addresses tenant repairs very quickly and is easy to contact. I would highly recommend her

Customer service was top notch. We had to move out due to a job relocation and Nick was excellent walking us through the process. If we ever come back to NC well definitely use Bev Roberts.

Roberts Rentals made our move as seamless as possible. From answering the phone when we called to showing homes and making suggestions off of what my family needed in a home, I couldnt ask for more. What I appreciate is the no pressure response, allowing us time to review the photos, take the virtual tour and make a decision for ourselves if we wanted to go further and see a place in person. That is the best for me because we all lead busy lives and we have to sometimes fit things in where we can. When I feel pressured to do things when I am not able, it takes away my interest and just makes me irritable. I didnt get that from Bev Roberts. So thanks! I read all these positive reviews with high ratings and hoped I was dealing with a reputable company. Their hours are from 9a - 6p, so I called and left a message at 9:06 AM on 6/23/14 inquiring about 2 available rental properties located at 1022 Renshaw Court and 919 Lexington Court. I never got a call back nor email. I decided to give them another call this morning --- 6/24/14 (at 9:06 AM again), and a lady picked up who did not provide me her name. She lacked professionalism and customer service. She snapped at me and made sure I knew she was frustrated on talking with me. She made it apparent she didnt want to assist me nor was she interested in my needs. Bev Roberts, if you read this, I am sure you can find out who the lady was on the phone on 6/24/14 at 9:06 AM. Continue to keep employees such as her to be the face of your company, and customers will look to other property management companies to serve their needs. PLEASE stay away from them!!! If you are considering utilizing their service, then by all means, QUESTION them about my post on their site and demand to know what was done about my situation first!!! The lady on the phone succeeded in making me feel Bev Roberts was TOO BUSY for me.

Bev and her staff were extremely helpful in finding the right tenant for the townhome which we purchased. She handles everything and has very competent people working for her. We would definitely recommend using her for your rental needs.

Ive only been using Bev Roberts services for a couple of weeks now, but so far theyve more than exceeded my expectations. I signed the listing service agreement on a Sunday afternoon and 4 days later I already had a lease in place! Craig was very helpful and responsive during the entire process. He provided solid recommendations for some repairs that needed to be done prior to the tenant moving in. I put in a request online and within 10 minutes received a call from a repairman! The website is easy to use to put in maintenance requests or to pay your rent. I will be resigning with them for the 4th year in a row! 12/27/2017- Just renewed my lease for my 5th year. Bev Roberts makes it so easy! 2 words- Still Awesome!!

Great if you are an owner, not so much if you are the tenant. Perhaps it is dependent upon the owner of the home you are renting, but maintenance requests went cancelled or closed without notification on several occasions. An initial request upon move-in for replacement stove knobs took several calls and 2 months to be filled. Each time I called with a request or a concern, was made to feel like I was a nuisance. When I contacted the company to confirm final prorated rent amount, I was advised I had to pay full months rent and would be reimbursed the difference after 30 days, and a rental clause/law that is specific to deposit funds only was quoted as the reason why I would have to wait 30 days after move-out for the rent overage. Had I not had experience in contracts, I may have taken this at face value, and would not have disputed (the clause quoted applies to rental deposits only - not monthly rental fee). That last incident was disconcerting and made me question the companys ethics, especially with regards to their tenants.I understand that this company is an advocate for the property owner - as they should be - but as a tenant that remained in good-standing for over a year, it would have been a much better experience had we felt, as a family, that they had any interest in our well-being in the rental home. If you are looking to rent, I would consider others.

I would never do business with this company nor recommend them to anyone!! Friday 9/20 I called to inquire about a rental and spoke with Nick I specifically asked if any applicants applied for the property so I would know if it would be a waste of my time he said no one did. I proceeded with the application and paid $50 for the fee he did mention that it would be a few days before I would hear anything. On 9/26 I was offered the unit and on 9/27 he sent over an email with security deposit info and first month rent but it never said who to make the check out to or if I would need two checks for the payments. When I replied back asking if I could see the unit and about the specific information for deposits that Thursday afternoon all communication stopped he never responded to anymore messages. I found that quite strange as he just sent me a message 10 mins prior to my response so I called him on Friday didn’t get an answer so I called the office to get the information needed for payments while at the bank the lady looked up the info and gave me the information I needed. After all of that Nick finally calls back to say that the owners went with another tenant and gave a lousy excuse of an explination of why they did. I was very upset at such treatment and told him he was bad for business he states for me to hold on to my money and if thing didn’t fall through I could have the place again!!!!! As if I would be willing to deal with this company nor the owners after you offer the place and then take it back I’ll pass....!!!!!! BE AWARE OF THE TYPE OF PEOPLE YOU WILL BE DEALING WITH
