I was visiting my family in CARY. I came in from New Orleans and had problems with my hearing aids. I was recommended to the Cary office and met Teresa. When I first met Teresa, she was so attentive and caring. She made me feel that she could help me correct my problems. She enlightened me about things that helped me that I was never told. It was time for me to search for a new Hearing Aid Provider because my warranty was running out, and I knew that I wanted to search for a new provider that was knowledgeable and helpful with my hearing loss needs. I was off work one Friday, so I thought that I would just walk in to see if I could make an appointment. Hearing on Call is far superior to all other options. Ive been using hearing aids for 25 years and Ted is sharper and better trained then anyone I ever seen. I purchased the latest Widex models and the sound quality is excellent and the phone App is beyond my expetations. I have been looking for hearing aids for the past 5 years. I have been to many retail hearing aid stores and tested many bands based on the recommendation from the audiologist (which of course was not the brand I originally come in to test). I had to pay up-front for every trail and when either I didnt like the hearing aid or it didnt work, I returned them (still during the trail period). I eventually (typically 3 weeks later) was finally refunded (in some cases, the store took a restocking fee). Ted was exceptional with identifying my 88 year old mother’s hearing difficulties, and also with finding a hearing device that she could manipulate and that felt comfortable to her. The explanation of her hearing test results were presented in a positive fashion, and Ted’s gentle and attentive manner kept her at ease during the appointment while also giving her a positive outlook for correcting her hearing loss. Insurance covers some of the cost for us, but even without, the prices were far below what I expected them to be. The ric devices that were chosen by her were high quality and they are a perfect match for cosmetic appearance and helping to maintain her dignity. I’d highly recommend Hearing On Call in Cary with Ted for anyone concerned about their hearing.

Awesome service from Ted and Victoria! Ive been wearing Kirkland 6.0 hearing aids from Costco for 3 years and have never been happy with them, but thought thats the way they are. Boy was I wrong! Ted went through the Pros/Cons of about 6-8 major manufacturers and we narrowed down to 2, then to 1. I had a trial set for a few days and LOVE them (Phonak Marvel). Ted really knows his stuff, and Victoria is wonderful. And the prices!! A few thousand dollars less than the audiologists offices Ive been to. Highly recommended!!!!!!

Prices were found to be much more affordable than any other others I had received. given a blackboard presentation of all the brands they carry. Based on my hearing testing results, given the recommended brands/models best suited for my hearing issues. offered & accepted home evaluation demos of recommended products.Almost all competition did not offer to demo their product until a sale was fully finalized. I personally had two different models to demo for as long as I felt comfortable to do so. absolutely no sales pressure to buy from them. What a great find. A bit of a drive to get to, but well worth it. I saved a lot of money, and unlike other places that sell hearing aids, he told me not to worry about the 30 return policy, and he meant it. After several visits, and his adjusting the inner workings, he got them just right....oh!, and did I forget that he was able to save me thousands of dollars over the price of the local audiologists.

Have it both ways----the prices of a remote online provider and the service level of a local hearing specialist. Hearing on Call prices are in the online provider price range but offers in-person professional hearing assessment, fitting and follow-up as well as warranties honored by manufacturers. I went to several other hearing aid providers before going to hearing on call, including the provider associated with my ENT. I found Hearing on Call through my mother’s hearing aid manufacturer. Her hearing aids were not functioning properly and it was very frustrating for her and for us. Ted was able to accommodate our timeframe while I was visiting and spent time explaining our options. After a new hearing test, Ted cleaned and reprogrammed my mom’s 10 year old hearing aids and she is able to hear much better. I was attracted to come here by the price. What I learned is that their service is unbelievable. They did what ever it took to make sure I was properly fitted. I purchased my 2nd pair of hearing aides from HOC. My first set was from Costco. The first set were well priced and the service was ok. However as my hearing decreased it became apparent that Costco did not have the hearing aides or expertise that I needed. I came accross HOC and set an appt w/Ted. I found Ted to be very knowledgeable accross the spectrum of choices and his assistant Victoria gave me the best audiology exam that I have ever had. They both were very patient as I demod 2 sets over a period of time and went through many adjustments to get them right before I bought them. I am about 1 month into the new set and they are working very well ...so a big thanks to HOC>
