I had Allstate since 2017 and I recently changed car insurance companies. Theyre I not bad but I started to notice that my payment would slowly increase which made me want to look elsewhere. I canceled my auto policy with Allstate. The agent I had told me that there is a cancelation fee which I was fine with. My agent never told me that my auto pay stopped or when my policy was canceled with Allstate. I only found out my cancel fee was past due via email. Im really annoyed by that and I only found out by calling customer service. I just wish my agent wouldve told me that instead of rushing off the phone saying Ill take care of it I had no other details after that.
