I am a highly dissatisfied customer. The incompetence is thru the roof. I went to h&r block thinking I was to have my taxes done by someone that knew and was trained correctly to do my taxes. And little to my surprise that was not the case. When I received paperwork from the irs and it was taken to them. They could not help me. I will not be returning. this company does not look out for their customer.

I made an appointment for Thursday, March 18th at 12:00 pm, on Wednesday I received a call stating that my appointment was at 7:00 am on Thursday even though I had scheduled it for 12;00 pm they also told me that the person that I wanted to do my taxes on Thursday was not there Thursday but on the website, it said that she was available that day and time. I showed up on time and Manassa took care of me.

I didnt like how the tax precessional had to look at my personal bank account information in my phone instead of me writing it down or calling it out to him like I suggested to him. And basically tried to tell me I couldnt get direct deposit because I had to pay the fees upfront, which I know I didnt have to pay anything up front to have my refund direct deposit into my account.

If the price were a little lower, would have rated it extremely likely to return. It was a simple return but price was still high based on the number of jobs held during the year. Too high for a simple return.

Very Nice Person

My tax professional did not know what he was doing and messed up multiple times on my forms. He did not understand how to do my schedule C and did not even put in my charitable contributions after I asked him to look at my statements. He gave me 3 different numbers of what I would owe the IRS or receive as a refund before another tax professional had to come in and fix the form. I am a college student who worked part time and only made $13,000 and now I owe the IRS $500. Im really dissatisfied.

Also the protection and peace of mind fees doesnt really put my mind at peace because that means that there is a chance of an error that may possibly could be made. So I paid more to have it done, by accepting the extra protection plan. Which you dont have to.
