They were the only ones that could get out to me the same day that I called. Walt was very helpful, professional and generous. He found my issue and resolved it quickly. If I ever have problems again I will definitely be giving them a call.
Matthew was very knowledgeable and answered my questions in a professional manner. He was very polite and has a great work ethic. I would recommend to family and friends.
Professional, Fast, Great Price, These guys get the job done the Wright way the first time, And there were NO Hidden Fees for me to pay, it was a Pleasure do Business with these folks
Did a great job cleaning our septic and was reasonable. Nice fellows very friendly and polite.
Im a city boy that purchased a property in Tallapoosa and wanted to know what type of condition and info on my current septic tank. Being from Miami, I always had a public sewage system so i didnt know much about septic tanksCalled WGPS and a gentlemen by the name of Justin came out and answered all my questions. Explained how the system worked and what to DO and NOT DO, so that by system worked efficient. They pumped the tank, inspected it and reassured me that all was good with the system.Justin put my mind at ease. I would DEFINITELY recommend them for any of my plumbing needs.
I would like to thank West Georgia Plumbing and Service for coming out on such a short notice. Our main water line burst inside the house in the concrete wall which flooded our basement. Matt McCoy called me prior to arriving. Matt checked everything out and took care of the problem. We are so thankful for Matt’s prompt service and excellent customer service! He was Awesome! Thanks again for everything! Barnes Family! Be blessed!
This company is the best. Super helpful and great employees. Explained everything that needed to be done and went over all my options. Ive had a lot of bad experiences with some plumbing companies around but West georgia Plumbing and Septic went above and beyond in making this experience as easy and least expensive as possible. Truly exceptional.
My parents needed someone quick and they were there! After having someone tell them the drainfield needed replacing, I called West Ga Plumbing once they came out we were so grateful for the honesty and thoroughness. All it was, was the effluent filter clogged! My parents and their pockets were ecstatic to say the least!
Justin did a fantastic job. He was very knowledgeable and polite. He made the whole process less stressful. I would highly recommend West Georgia Plumbing and Septic for anyone in need of the services they provide.
We had a bad septic emegerency and these two nice gentlemen that were on call and saved the day! Definitely recommend this company!
Incredibly professional, courteous, and through company. Had the good fortune to work with these folks on a recent septic tank pump and inspection. Flawless transaction from start to finish. Highly recommend and will definitely use again.
Ive used this company three times. First time it was to find and replace a leak. They replaced a 3 section of COPPER pipe with PVC and left a 1x3 hole in my wall then charged me $500 for it. The second time they came out they discovered a main line blockage, cleared it out and charged $550. Six days later sewage is coming back up what they claimed to have already fixed. I called them up and they proceeded to tell me it would be an additional $700 to do what they already claimed to have fixed. If you want my advise find another plumber.
Matthew very Good
This is a rip off company - quoted $275 got out here said it would cost $750.00 due roots but he would remove them. Tried to sell other options that would cost several thousand dollars- Took less than 30 minutes to pump it out - for $750 and roots are still in there.. WHAT A RIP OFF!!!
Excellent service from Brian and Mitchell. Both worked very hard to get us flowing again. All pricing was told up front. He did exactly what he said he was going to. His communication was excellent. I thought the value was on par with others in the area. Great employees equals a great Company. Keep up the good work.
Extremely easy to work with. Shane was very clear about what my problem was work my existing service and provided me with a few options on a path forward. Shane explained each option and whether it would be easy or difficult and if it was expensive or reasonably cheap. He suggested the best option for me and did not try to shove extra products in my face. They only took 2 days to complete the job. 1 day to inspect the issue and get the needed permits. Day 2 to excavate, install and cover 200 feet of new field lines. Another thing that I was impressed with is they did not tare up the yard! They were very concerned about existing flower beds, and future use of the area.
I have been doing business with West Georgia Plumbing & Septic for awhile and from DAY ONE have always exemplified EXCELLENT customer service from the young ladies that answer the phones and the technicians. Matt always seems to be the person that comes the most and he is what I think of as a person that has GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE attributes. He gets the job done completely correct the 1st time. Kudos to Matt and his representation of West Georgia Plumbing & Septic company. Keep up the EXTRAORDINARY great work!
I, honestly, feel like I got overpriced & taken advantage of when they came out to pump my septic tank because I didn’t know. This was in theory a $500 job give, and it turned into a $5,500. I wish I could return back time, & take my bad decision with getting in contact with this company. I will always look at reviews & go with that people around me use. Never again.
Wish I could give owner less than 1 star.Other sewer company was 4 days out to pump septic tank, so I called in this company. Estimate was $50 more than other company..but I wanted to help out the renter in the unit and get the repair done.Guys on site were nice, but owner calls shot on pricing and was more than double than another company...who I quickly called in to finish the job in a few days. After emptying septic tank(which they charge $50 more to do than competitor), they said line needing jetting. Estimate was $400 in addition to emptying septic tank. I agreed. They could not jet line, due to blockage(so no charge), so then they wanted $1,400 more to run new main septic line(about 6-8’). Total job would have been close to $2,000. I’m having all fixed for less than $1,000 using a different company do run 6-8’ line.I will NEVER use them again and would not recommend.UPDATE: A manager called me after I posted this review. His response was that he would basically have a talking to the guys doing the work. I told him I had no issues with the three guys on site..just with the OUTRAGEOUS pricing.UPDATE 2: I saw the owner response posted below. They did give me estimates before they wanted to perform each additional work. That is not the issue as I know additional problems can be discovered while doing work. The original quote was $375($50 more than competitor) to open and clean out the 1,000 gallon septic tank. In the end, they wanted close to $2,000 for all the work.I can see that it might be intimidating to someone who is not aware the additional work estimates were about double what anyone else would charge....when they have started a job(septic tank opened and cleaned on my job), and you are already invested in the work. I suspect most people would just pay. Just to give you an idea..the guys on site called their main office, when I called them out on their outrageous pricing and their boss knocked a couple hundred dollars off “each” extra thing(water jetting/camera and 6’ repair)they wanted to do...and the discounted rate would have still been outrageous. So I called my main plumber and he said he was floored with the cost and could take care of the 6’ pipe install tomorrow for less than half their original quote of $1,400 to do the same work.In addition, owner response said they did not charge for jetting cause they could not do the work. Really, you didn’t charge me for something you could not do...really..that’s your justification for not charging me?Also, “i’m sorry I feel this way”. Really? Your not sorry you charge double what a competitor would charge?I recommend this company DRAMATICALLY lower their pricing and be a good corporate citizen in our community. I worry about older people(My mother or grandmother for example) who would have just paid because they did not know better or didn’t really know what to do. Over $1,000 ADDITIONAL to install a 6’ (maybe 1.5-2hrs work), when the ground is already dug up is outrageous. Geez Really? If owner responds again..I’ll follow up again.I did see that other people posted here with the same outrageous pricing issues. Wish I would have checked reviews here first before calling them.
Highly recommend. Brian came out on a Saturday and fixed our problem. It was not fun. They worked all day and did not complain. Excellent customer service. The company directs you right to a person. The phone service is wonderful.Oh and they did not charge extra for weekends. The rates were very reasonable. From my experience I Highly recommend.
Great Service. Donald, Larry and Matt were very professional and informative about my system. In and out in no time. Unfortunately the pump truck leaked some motor oil on my driveway but that is the least of my worries. Great job WGPS and thank you
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I do not believe the 5 star ratings are real. This company is a scam and the owner is a con man. The owner, Bo Williford, will look you in the eye and steal from you. I found out the hard way that he is well known by all the other septic providers and the County as someone who fraudulently charges customers 400% more than the going rate. He waits and preys on customers who are in a bind and uses his Christian faith as a tool to defraud you. Then if you stop payment on the check and attempt to pay a fair amount, he calls the Sheriff to have you arrested in order to collect his extorted fees. He charged me $3200 for work that should cost less than $800 to pump a tank and install six feet of pipe. Now I have to take him to court. Proceed at your own risk!
This is a terrible company to use wanted to charge $500 to pump 750 gallon tank and not even clear the whole tank, They showed up with there pump truck full was there excuse for not getting it all. Job went from $275 then $450 to $500 to just pump the solids out. I paid another company three years ago he pump the whole tank and sprayed the lines for $375. Really tired of company’s charging what they want because they know they can. The tech that came out Matthew if I was was the owner would not have him working for my company. Would not recommend this company to anyone. For a company only been in business for a couple of years not how you do business or treat people.
5 Stars, Love these folks. Had great experiences with both office personnel and plumbers. Their prices are great and very friendly and helpful employees. Very professional and know what they are doing.
I highly recommend this company for all services. They were very professional and courteous when scheduling to get my septic tank serviced. The technician that came out was very helpful and explained in detail the work that needed to be done. I will certainly use them again in the future!
I wouldnt use anyone else. They have the fastest response time of anyone I have ever tried. They are friendly and professional. Its family owned and operated. They do my personal and my business work.
I would recommend these guys. I wish I found them a lot sooner. The price was reasonable and I learned more about a septic tank. I knew nothing before finding out. The last guys I was using. Was robbing us. It takes 5yrs to be pumped out. Not a few yrs or months. And didn’t need another tank or field line. Thanks you guys so much.
These guys are very knowledgeable and do a great job!
Shane was a very honest, up front guy. He came in and knew exactly what to do and got the job done efficiently. I will not ever go with another company on my septic needs again.
I had WGA HVAC install a mini split at a rental house for a price of 1.600.00 (he initially said that it would be 800-1,000) and immediately after the install I had problems with one of my control units. I paid Austin another $975.00 to diagnosis and fix an issue that they caused by a faulty install. One month goes by and the control unit stops working again and he says the compressor is bad but then I called an experienced tech in the area and found that the fittings were never secured correctly on the compressor causing the compressor to leak out all the refrigerant. Austin blamed in on the supplier but the other tech said it was an extremely poor install job. Austin had to routinely call tech support but the experienced installed never called tech support and knew exactly how to fix the issue. I had to pay the experienced tech another 800 so overall I paid an extra 1,775 to fix an issue that should have never happened.
My mom & I definitely recommend!!! Shane & Walter came out to pump the septic tank & place new septic lines from where tree roots had grown into our 40+ year old septic line into our home. They are honest & told us the septic tank didn’t have to be pumped. So we only had to replace lines. As soon.as he finished we finally got to flush our toilets flawlessly without all the gurgling. Shane knew exactly what the issue was & immediately repaired it. Thank you!
Luke and his assistant handled my situation with professionalism and honesty. They advised me of best practices but then were happy to help me find some middle ground to fit my budget. Ill use them again and will refer anyone else to them. A blessing to get to know them, their story, and the way they do business. Thanks!
PLEASE READ ALL THESE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!If I could rate negative stars that is what this company would get! DO NOT USE THEM! I have had the WORST experience ever with this company! They are unprofessional, liars, and thieves! Employees that have no idea what they are doing and who the owner admits “is stealing from you and his company”We called their office to have a camera run to find blockage in a drain, and they sent out their employees. The guy (Carl) says he can just run a snake and fix it cheaper. His service manager (Shane) shows up to bring him tools, and he unclogs drain, and asks for payment. One week later there is a massive leak because of the work that was done, so I called them back out. They cross threaded the drain and knocked a pipe loose and it was pouring water downstairs! So he slaps putty on it, calls it fixed and leaves. The owner of the company (Bo) shows up with his service manager (Shane) and asked what happened. Gives me my money back and says the employee had been stealing from his company. I show him the water damage caused by his employee, and he sends out a restoration company. $10,000.00 worth of property damage due to plumbers error!!!! The owner and company will not take responsibility for it, and claims their employee did it as side work, even though THEY sent him out in company truck twice!!!! I continued to try to contact the owner through e-mail and phone calls... he has completely ignored every attempt and his office staff was rude and very disrespectful.would not give me any information as far as their insurance company, so we can file a claim. To get resolution, we will have to sue... which is the next step.
This company does business the old-fashioned (right) way. So far, they have done three jobs for me (two at our church, one at my house), and everyone with the company that I have spoken with or met has been exceptionally friendly and professional. Their technicians assess the situation, explain plainly what needs to be done and what the cost will be, then do what it takes to fix the problem. The price they quote you is what you pay, and their prices are reasonable. Another thing that really amazes me is that they always show up when they say they will, which is practically unheard of these days. Whenever I need a plumber, West Georgia Plumbing and Septic will be my first call! God bless!
Had emergency septic situation, everything backed up. Called these guys and they came out really quick and took care of my situation. Thanks again Matt and Carleton!
I was quoted $275 to drain my septic tank, as long as the tank is not larger than 1,000 gallons and not deeper than a foot underground. It rained throughout the night and up to a few hours before they arrived to our 11am appointment. Once they located the tank, they use the backhoe to dig up the area and remove the lids on both sides. While one worker was fetching the drain from the truck in order to empty the septic tank, Austin (the manager) told me that my tank was over filled. He then stated that he will need to charge me $475. He also said that he believed the pipe that connects the septic tank to the drain field may be blocked, and that would cost an additional $475.I told him that I did not have $950 at the moment. Then, Austin asked (while drooling at the mouth), “How much do you got?”. I was stunned because it seemed like he was trying to hustle me. I told him that I didn’t have $950 and that I could only pay $550 if the line was blocked. He said that he could do it for $650 and I agreed that if the line was actually blocked, then I’d pay $650. From that moment on, he started referring to the line as ‘the blocked line” trying to convince himself and co-workers that the line was blocked. I stood over them and watch them waiting for them to show me that the line was blocked. They pushed a high pressure water hose in the line, sprayed water in there and then told me the line was blocked and they have removed the blockage. Took all but 5 minutes.I ended up paying them the $650 and called their office to explain that it would have been nice to have been quoted a more realistic price, rather than digging up my yard first and then raising the price and trying to see how much money you could squeeze me for. The office manager did every thing that she could to defend her employees and could not put her feet in the customers shoes and understand my situation. If they had a price sheet, and told me up front before digging that (1) if the tank is OVER FULL we charge an additional $275 and (2) if the line is blocked we will also need to charge and additional $475, I would have gladly paid $950 or even more. To ask the customer, well, how much do you got is unacceptable. I won’t be calling them for service anymore.
Awesome company good people and fantastic prices
I like that they suggested I get a blueprint from the county environmental & health department of where the septic tank was located. The county then sent me an email of a blueprint with the location of the tank & the rest of the system, along with the depth. West GA arrived with the tank truck & backhoe & went to work. I showed them the blueprint, they dug it up & even gave me a senior discount. Total cost was under $300. Not an easy task if you dont have the experience or equipment. West GA had both.
I highly recommend this company for all your plumbing and septic needs. Toilets wouldnt flush and drains were backing into the house. I called and when they came out they found the problem right away and fixed it. Plumber was excellent. Very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. I will use them again if needed!
Worst experience ever. Pieced together a pipe above ground. Took little effort. Charged me 4 times price it should. Talked to owner and was hateful and extremely rude. Would never recommend this company. They are a RIP off. Dont call them. There are many others that will do a great job without sending you to poorhouse.
Make sure you get a detailed quote spelling everything they are doing. I didn’t and paid WAY to much for the amount of work they did. I will never use them again and all I can say is buyer beware of this company.
Not good service.... Came out to my dads house and couldnt find his septic tank and said sorry maybe you can find it and then charged my dad 0ver a thousand dollars to dig a hole that still has water coming out the ground..... My dad tried to call to get someone else out to try and fix the problem again and the same guy was rude on the phone to my dad and told him if he didnt like the service dont call back...they took advantage of the situation and didnt even fix the problem or find our septic tank...def not professional.. obviously from the response from this post you can tell your unprofessional you dont make excuses you make your customers happy so you have a good day...
Great service. Quote was fast and better than other companies. Septic system and field lines installed.
Had an issue but the owner called and offered to rectify the situation. Bo came out and fixed our problem! Sometimes you cant help the actions of employees, but a companys willingness to step in and make good when things go wrong is what really counts. This is one of those companies, dont hesitate to call 😊
We had all toilets overflowing and septic coming up into the tubs at 9 oclock on a Friday night...talking about a nightmare! Quickly googled 24 hour plumber/septic service and they were the first company we called. Shane was out in an hour and quickly diagnosed the problem and got to work. We didnt know where our septic tank was and Shane had trouble finding it because it was not in the usual spot. He called the owner of the company, Bo at 11:00 at night and he also came out! Together, they worked at it until problem was finally resolved at 2 am. This is a wonderful company and so grateful that by chance we found them in our desperate hour! Bo and Shane were very professional, respectful, and kind. They could have easily made the decision to pack it up and leave and charge us a service call when we told them we didnt know where our septic tank was but they went above and beyond what we expected and at a great price. This company comes HIGHLY recommended!!
Charged four times the estimates. Led in septic tank and exit pipe broken, added twenty minuets work and they had the parts in hand. For this they charged more than a thousand dollars over the estimate. They were late to the job and gone by lunch.
The best Plumbing and Septic team around, completely professional. And totally family oriented. Couldnt ask for a better team to come out and do some work for you or your friends and family!
Had a dishonest company leave me with a BS estimate for things that didnt need to be done and an estimate to fix what they had damaged during diagnostic work. West Ga came out just a few hours after calling them and took care of everything I needed for less than the free diagnostic the other company charged for.
I highly recommend this company! They are absolutely awesome. I called and they had someone out to my house within the hour. Fixed my problem and beat the quotes I got from other companies. Couldnt ask for better customer service! I will definitely use them in the future. Thank you West Georgia Plumbing & Septic!
Wish they had ten stars. A very professional, courteous and honest family-owned business. We had a septic issue during the holidays with family from out-of-state visiting. New to the area, we did not know who to contact. WGP&S was recommended and within a few hours after our call, two knowledgable reps showed up and assessed what needed to be done, set to work and resolved our immediate problem. Determined the prior owner of the home never had septic tank maintained or pumped in 13 years because the tank was under shrubbery and the corner of the driveway. The next day they came back to install riser kits and then cleaned the filters for the septic field. A few days later their truck was available to pump and clean out the septic tank. Everyone at WGP&S was so wonderful during this nasty experience and I recommend them highly.
Absolutely worse company you could ever call. Very disrespectful to my family and my landlord. He said with his own mouth that he was charging our landlord for stuff he didn’t use. (I was inside and he didn’t know). Please don’t give your business to this company.
I called them out 2 my home to fix my septic it was no honesty from the 2 guys who came out. First they told me it will be $1125 to fix my system money that I didnt have then he started telling me that I well I should just get pumped out but the problem would not be fixed so I told him why would I pay u $475 for that if its not gonna work then he says if u have it jetted out it would solve the problem and that costs $625 rite there I new it was some bull why didnt u say that earlier if that was the real case. So while we was talking I was on the internet checking prices to see the cost which really cost only $350 I also called another company and ask them and they Confrimed it was $350. I havent told them anything yet so he then says what can u pay so he suggest $400 and he was giving me a deal which in the back I my mind I knew it was game but I did tell them to go ahead and do it. He assured me that it would work and I would have no problems the next day its doing the same thing. I dont like dishonest people who try to get over and take ur money these people r crooks and its just sad thats the world we live in. Its sad to tell lies they will never get my business again beware of the price they give u when they get out there it will be something totally different and a million more things wrong they no people dont no much about a septic system so they will take advantage of u. Beware of this company I no its hard to find honest people and companies but its still a couple left.
First of all I have no reason to lie I no what I was told he said if it was jetted out it would work I asked over 10 times I dont have money to just give away if he would have said it wouldnt do any good I would never told him to do the job. He told me if he pumped it out it wouldnt work but jetting it would fix the problem. So I agreed to have it done by no means u gonna tell me what was said and u was not there I dont have a reason to lie what do I benefit from lying its my job to tell my experience if its good or bad I quess its ur job to defend ur company no matter what u need to realize that ur guys tell lies Im pretty sure u do good work but for me u didnt and thats the facts so dont u tell me what was said unless u were there because if u was we need to get together and talk about all the lies u told me or I will come there face to face and me and ur guys can have a conversation about what I was told. U need to have more respect for ur customers and listen to them as well to see what the issue really was because at the end of the day if I would have took advice from the other reviews that r similar to mine that was NEGATIVE I would have went somewhere else but I gave u a chance I regret my decision of calling u. Reviews do matter and thats what we do to help others so they will not make the same mistakes. So the next time u come for me please come correct i stand by what was told by ur people will put anything in a invoice to cover a lie so dont come with the invoice story I no and u no at times its about money and from looking at ur reviews at times alot of lying is going on with ur employees with the prices and the issues with the work thats needed. And everybody will not be telling the same lie so u do the math but Im pretty sure u work in the office u belive what u r told. And no I dont need ur services and I also never asked u for a refund that never came out of my mouth not once why would ask for my money back we have never even talked I no how the GAME GOES that u guys play so well and no I dont need a estimate from u either will not even waste my time u r very dishonest and I dont have the patience for fake bull when u lie on me thats another level to me. AS I STATED BEFORE NO NEED TO LIE ABOUT NOTHING I CANT COMMENT ON SERVICES U DID FOR OTHERS BUT THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE WITH UR COMPANY VERY DISHONEST AND WILL OVERCHARGE ON SERVICES BEWARE OF THE CON-GAME DO MORE RESEARCH ON OTHER COMPANIES AND MOST IMPORTANTLY CHECK UR REVIEWS TO SEE OTHERS EXPERIENCES EVEN IF THEY DIG UP YOUR YARD U CAN STILL SAY NO MATTER WHAT IS OFFERED I SAW THE SIGNS BUT I IGNORED THEM NOW IM OUT OF MONEY AND MY PROBLEM IS WORSE THEN IT WAS BEFORE THEY CAME OUT.
Our septic tank backed up on Saturday afternoon and we needed help. Called many places, most were “done” for the day if they offered emergency service at all. I called West Georgia Plumbing and Septic and the dispatcher was very nice, told us they could be out in a few hours. The techs called when they were about 20 mins out, worked in the dark and cold determining the problem was worse than a simple pumping out of our tank. Gave my husband a quote on the spot and knocked it out. Luke was the lead tech and he was very professional and gave us tips on septic tank do’s and don’ts. I highly recommend West Georgia Plumbing and Septic.
I dont even want to give 1 star .. Extremely disrespectful .. Very rude on the phone and when they sent an HVAC person to look at our septic system he was very rude too. Extremely over priced and didnt even know what they were talking about. Glad we went with somebody else.
Great company. Highly recommend!!
Good customer service and good people,
Excellent service and very informative.
Quick and fast service!!! Excellent company and great people!!
Great Job! I would recommend them!
Great customer service and fast service
Very disrespectful employees and overpriced on labor
Very polite. Called me and came out earlier than expected. Explained the problem and fixed it on the spot for a reasonable price.
