Great place and easy to cash ur checks 😉 just sometimes the parking could be a problem not much parking only 3 up front and few in the back. Other then that easy and fast 😉

Had came in after having a terrible day with card issues and being turned away at 2 other pls stores. Once I came in this location Giberto jumped on my situation right away and helped me every step of the way with a great attitude and smile. He helped replace my card and helped me set it up in an app on my phone as well in case I get into a predicament again excellent customer service definitely recommended and will come here from now on.

Found a safe place to use an ATM so late at night

After a long day at work and banks being closed i decided to go here and cash a check to pay my employees. The first representative had trouble signing me into the system but luckily the manager, Gessica, was available to help. She came to help even though she had a window to attend herself. She managed to get me an account and get me started on cashing my check. I will be returning here, the manager was very helpful and courteous. Definitely recommend.

I have been cashing my payroll check at this location primarily since I work right down the street and I have never been treated as poorly as I always am at this location I understand that times are difficult but theres such a thing as professionalism and I dont think anyone in that store has any Ive been told that they no longer load greendot cards even though the app said that they do and I found out 2 weeks later from another location that they do and there was no reason that I should have been denied I can hear comments and snickering when I walk in plus it never fails that when I reach the front of the line that at least one next window sign goes up I will never again visit this location and I am going to have to think long and hard about wether or not to cash my checks at PLS at all I may just take my business to cliffs or Ace from now on

Last night i was RACIALLY PROFILED by the supervisor Alexis who refused to cash my payroll check. The check was cleared by the guy that was taking care of me. I have a profile with the company that had been updated. Alexis said that he had to make sure it was a real check. The clerk clearly told Alexis that everything was good on the check he still refused. He asked me to verify that i work at the company so i got my phone out of my car and pulled up the actual pay stub on my companies Workday app and the hours i have for the next check. All he kept telling me was take it somewhere else. He had all the proof he needed with the actual hard copy of the check and pay stub and the online copy that i allowed him to watch me put in my password and watch me do everything on my phone and after that Alex says its up to his discretion and hes not cashing it unless the company can verify over the phone. Its a holiday weekend at 8:30 at night. He just didnt want to cash it and all of the employees knew it. I have cashed checks with this PLS for years. In Plano, Richardson, Dallas and at this location and i have never had a problem. I have been with the same company for 2 years and this has never happened until i met ran into the grumpy gay racist man who doesnt need to be in control of something that can affect others lives.

Rocio, the lazy incompetent manager on duty, claimed a check from a major company was fake. She didn’t even try to verify or authenticate the item. She must be psychic or something. Then later admitted that she had seen the check before. Sketchy company altogether. Employees here are never on the same page and make up policies and fees. They lack proper training and integrity.

Manager Rocio is very unprofessional in processing a check. When given the check she automatically started saying it was a fake check and that it wasn’t valid. She said she’s never seen those checks etc. Then later said she had. She wasted my time making excuses and contradicting herself. Had she taken the time to follow proper protocol and actually look up the company and verify the check she would have seen that it is a very large company and many employees cash their checks there. I don’t like that she took all of my personal information for an “application” in order to cash my check and then when I asked her for the “application she was filling out she said she never sent it. Overall the customer service is lacking and maybe some retraining needs to be done as she seems very unsure about how to proceed when cashing a check. Instead of treating all customers as if they were criminals maybe actually try to provide the service she is being paid to provide.

I was the most handsome employee at PLS, and if you check there even the ladies compliment me here in the review section. What can I say? I’m really irresistible, finding someone with heaven defying good looks as mine, it is like finding a flying unicorn on earth...I was just born blessed!!!

I drove out of my way here to the location in Carrollton texas because Lewisville location wouldnt pick up their phone. I get here and the woman says she cant cash my check because she ran out of money. The manager will be here in an hour. What I think maybe a check cashing place should have cash......

Rocio, the manager wasted my time. I drive out 30-35mins to cash my usual check and she says she cant do it till the next day. They took a picture of the check and my DL, and myself. She said it was fake. I really needed the money so I cashed my check on my PayPal app in less than 5mins. I dont know why I make the drive I could just do it in the comfort of my own home.i suggest going to the PLS in Lewisville

Definitely a place we will never go again. We needed to cash a check from Texas Workforce Commission and was treated like criminals. The tellers were laughing the whole time and saying comments about how the check was fake. Not only that but they started to record a video of us. One of them said to the other dont cash it its obvious that is a fake check. Please save your time and dont go to this place. Im sure there are plenty others that will not treat customers this way. Taking our business elsewhere. Its sad to be treated with such disrespect when literally its a legit check needed to be cashed with legit documents.

Completely worthless. I went here to cash a simple $75 dollar payroll check cut straight from a local banks payroll system, and they couldnt be bothered. Said they got new systems, so my check cashing history and profile were no longer in their system. The girl working the counter was clueless, and the after hours manager that she said shed normally call was completely unavailable and not answering the phone. She advised me to drive to the other side of the city to go to the store that he was at, but that store wouldnt even pickup the phone. Complete and total joke. Will never do business here again.

Please read this before going to this location! I went a week ago to cash a check over seven hundred dollars. I’m not sure if the cashier helping me was Native American or what but she was customer friendly. The Hispanic supervisor or manager whatever she was shadowing her during my visit. She told the cashier to ask me for my ID then after 5 minutes I was asked for my correct address that was listed on my ID. Then I hear the lady behind her say low “I wouldn’t go through with this I wouldn’t trust this situation.” Then said something and I heard “black!” It was after that I was asked to take a picture on their camera. If you guys going to hire Hispanics that brings in friends and family please make sure they’re dedicated to the job. Im speaking for any and everyone who’s felt the dislike and discrimination walking into businesses ran by them. Then I went to the location on belt line in north Dallas and they were so awesome.

They lie about a business, the one that you work for and are cashing your check from, not being open because they dont want to cash it and then lie about the bank not wanting to cash it. The workers are ignorant and cant even do their own simple job.

A business should not accept a cashiers check from this company, they will do everything they can not to cash the check. I tried to cash a $3,000 cashiers check issued by PLS and they would not cash it because it was made out to my company and not to me directly. I provided ample documentation to prove that I am a partner in the business and that I am the General Manager (Company tax returns, State Documents, Etc) and they still claimed that my business partner that filed the paperwork with the state had to cash it. It was total BS and now Im worried the cashiers check will be canceled by the person that gave it to us for some equipment he bought. Stay away from this company if you want to be sure you get your money!!

I simply went next door to Ace and I advised them that the idiots at PLS couldnt load my card....... She simply shook her head and said EVERYONE COMES THERE FOR THE SAME ISSUES FROM PLS.You guys need to get it together

The place seems pretty busy.I went there for a money order and one of the cashiers was doing only money orders in order to kill the line.Also the tall guy with spiky hair is really cute.

This PLS line was so insanely long, the wait wasn’t that long as they all try their best. Also, I was lucky to have that cute guy named Jorge, l was hoping he would wrote his phone number on my receipt or at least ask for mine.

The guy who answered phone is either incredibly incompetent or under the influence of drugs.....

1 star is to high of a rating for this place. Wish I could go lower.Garbage, like the employees that work there.

They told me that are no longer accepting transactions initiated in the app. So, they force me to pay $20 extra to complete the transaction. So, be alert if you have to go there.

Too long to cash a check. With all technology in hand no need to process a form with all kinds of personal information and on top of that the check machine almost tore the check by getting stuck. Caution too, the workers laugh and gossip things about the customers right in their face. Very disrespectful and rude.

Our company issues comdata checks to certain employees and they like to cash checks at PLS. We recently had an issue with a check because PLS entered the wrong check number when they called in for authorized. PLS wanted to charge us a $30 fee for their mistake. When we tried to correct the problem, the supervisor Melissa said it was comdatas fault. I asked her to take care of it with comdata and she refused. She just wanted our company to eat the $30. I continued to ask her to take care of it, as we are the customer and shouldnt be inconvenienced. She refused. I asked to speak with the manager and she said she was the supervisor. We will never use this company again! Worst customer service, completely ignorant and VERY rude.
