Dan Chipman Contracting painted the exterior of my neighbors house last year. I was extremely impressed with the quality of work done so when I decided to have my own house repainted I gave them a call... Again, the quality of the work done on my house was unsurpassed. The crew was very professional and thorough. I have received many, many, compliments on the appearance of the exterior of my house. I would highly recommend them.

We are halfway through a two bathroom remodeling job and are very impressed with Dan and his company, Chipman Contracting. The crew he has had working on our first bathroom has been excellent....they definitely take pride in their work and make sure things are done the right way. Dan comes by daily (most times twice a day) to make sure everything is going well. We have worked with a lot of different contractors for various projects around our house in the past and have never been as impressed as we have been with Chipman Contracting. We will definitely contact Dan for any future projects!

Very professional and a great value! Chipman Contracting worked on my house for more than one project. The work was done on time and on budget every time. What was even better, the work was always done with great care, they cleaned up each night, and would even recommend materials that would work or look better for the job. This was appreciated, because I was planning and choosing materials for the work myself. I would call them again for any project around the house, large or small.

We found Dan Chipman through referral from another competent electrician. I must say Chipman is a hidden treasure. Dan Chipman and his staff are simply fantastic. We called on Dan for so many remodelling and repair jobs for our home. Dan and his staff take much pride in their workmanship. We go to him for any major remodelling work. Chipman Contracting restored my home after water damage. Dan Chipman helped us deal with the insurance company and was a miracle worker. He did a complete kitchen remodel with beautiful custom cabinets with custom features. Our wood flooring had to be replaced as well as extensive painting and ceiling repair. His workers respected my home and were very careful throughout the renovation. They cleaned up before they left each night. I was looking for someone who was insured. Ive had friends who hired the cheapest or someone they picked up at Home Depot. Then they had to deal with hiring someone else to undo the damage. Dan did it right the first time! I recommend him without hesitation!

Chipman contracting is an excellent contractor. They do excellent work, they meet their deadlines and stay within budget. We have used them to remodel a total bath and to add some amenities to our new house. His subcontractors have all been very friendly, courteous, clean and do excellent work. Dan stays on top of the projects and lets you know if there are any unexpected glitches. Chipman has done exterior, interior small and large projects for us all to our complete satisfaction.

Chipman repaired and remodeled a sun room for us then built a beautiful cedar deck and raised bed planter. The sun room work was done well and was on time and on budget. The deck, despite the fact that we did not have definitive plans in place when the project started, went well. Dan was collaborative and helped us come up with a beautiful result.

I contacted Dan about a small project in my garage and drywall repair due to water damage. He came across as professional when he came to give an estimate but it was soon discovered not to be the case.After 3 weeks and a couple attempts to contact him I left a message saying I understood if the job was maybe not worth his time and to let me know if that was the case. I received the estimate the next day. Then after another couple attempts to contact him to say we would like him to perform the work, I left a message again, saying I understood if the job was not worth his time, to let me know within 24 hours if he wanted the work. He contacted me, saying he could perform the work. Several days pass and he calls on a Thursday tell me they could come by the following Tuesday or Wednesday to do the drywall and that he would call me the next day(Friday) about a couple things that involved the work to be done in the garage. He never called on Friday and never came to do the drywall.I owned a landscape company in the previous state that I lived and find his actions highly unprofessional. I also understand that some projects may not be worth a contractors time, however I gave him the option twice to concede this possibility and it seemed that wasnt the case. I have never experienced any professional with such poor ability to communicate, let alone giving a specific time frame for the work and then just simply not keeping their word, with no contact or excuse. I then emailed him to see what the issue was and you guessed it- no response.I obviously cant speak as to the quality of his work but can say he is the least respectful and most unprofessional contractor Ive never had the pleasure of doing business with. A professional would of been upfront about their lack of interest in performing the work, not just string you along. Being amongst a large group of transplants to the area, I am positive that many people will be looking for a contractor to perform projects on their homes in the near future. So far all I can recommend who they should not contact.

Chipman Contracting is trustworthy, honest and fair, which cant be said of all contractors these days. I have recommended them to friends/clients in the past, and will continue doing so.

The Chipman team did numerous projects for us - painting, replacing some light fixtures plus addition of new lighting in our kitchen, backsplash tile, and a bunch more. The price was fair and the work was great, as were the suggestions on tile selection, light fixtures, etc.
