They do a free brake diagnostic which was really awesome. Every place I have been to always charge for this so I was pleased. I like that they went over what major issues I have that should be addressed first and on down.

My experience was very good. I got texts that let me know what was going on and every time I called they were very helpful. I also liked that I could bring up my kids because there is a good place to wait. Lastly, the bathroom was as clean as my house and thats a win.

Very expensive place and left with a bad impression on how they run their business. Other customers, be aware of high costs and attempt to buy your car back for cheap.My secondary vehicle broke down in the freeway near their shop with a broken cooling hose assembly, based on how close they were, I had it towed for inspection and possibly get it repaired. They advised that theyll do a cooling system inspection and give me a call back.Next day, they provided me with estimate of repairs, parts mark up was outrageous, labor cost was also very high for just the cooling hose assembly. They performed other inspection such as brakes, filters, etc. where the total price to repair the vehicle was well over $2,000, just the broken hose alone was over $1,200. I opted to not perform repairs and just paid $70 for inspection, up to this point the shop was OK, just expensive. My issue was when the towing truck showed up to pick up my car and the guy (Clayton I believe) came out to rudely offer me $250 dlls to take my car out of my hands and avoid any future issues... now, that is the rudest and non-professional comment Ive ever got in a mechanic shop, this made me wonder, what if a non-mechanically inclined person show up and see a high estimate that ultimately end up selling their car for $250? Is their business model to quote expensive so customers are discouraged to repair an older car and ultimately sell their vehicle? I certainly feel this is the case... wonder how many people have fallen into this.Now, my car is not new, is a 2008 well kept that I use as secondary option with a KKB value of ~$5K+, (definitely worth more than $250), its well taken care since wife and kids use it, in general all our cars are in good shape and not just a clunker.I left a bad review in their customer feedback email and Brad called me back, he argue the point of their warranty to justify the high costs and declined to comment as to why their business model is to buy a car for cheap.End of story, I bought the assembly from the dealer (OEM new part) at $240 + $20 on coolant + 2 hours of my time in my garage and car is back on the road.I dont recommend this place at all.

Dropped off my car on a Monday after calling to confirm that they would be able to remove bolts from my oil pan that had been stripped. This was the only service i required of them and brought the car to their shop after they quoted to remove it. They held onto my car for 5 days and at the end of that tried to sell me on 6 other repairs that i did not need done by them. (Im a mechanic just needed the machining done) When I refused those services (about $2000 of estimated repairs that are basic maintenance and easy fixes Which have since been addressed and fixed for roughly $500) I asked for only the single repair for which I was quoted and after 5 days they told me that they couldnt do any work on my car and returned it a week later with no progress whatsoever. I subsequently took the vehicle to the dealership and they removed the bolts no problem in 2 days.This Shop will try to milk you for what you have and if they dont get their way theyll refuse the original service promised. Delayed my repair for a week and Put me out of my car a week longer than needed. Never bringing a car here ever again and I advise you to find an Honest shop as well cause this one Is not the answer.update: in response to Christian brothers: You quoted me for repairs in no way related to the bolt extraction. At no point was I quoted for additional costs. You wouldnt do the repair originally quoted after I didnt want you to do the additional repairs. there was no miscommunication, just shiesty management

I really enjoy going to Christian Brothers - especially this location. It is ridiculous how many places will lie or try to get you to do services that are not critical or even necessary. I can trust that my repairs or service will be done quickly. I have recommended a few people to this location. This could have been an incredibly stressful situation as I was on my way to work and my car would not start after I stopped at the gas station. CBA sent someone to the gas station and Jump started my battery. They took care ofMy car and took me to work. Service was fantastic. I avoided a tow and I avoided having to go through my insurance company.

My BMW X5 broke down on a Sunday while visiting Dallas area from Houston. I left it at CBA. Monday came and I quickly received an phone call and text message. I told them about my situation and they quickly began repairs. They helped me get out of a jamb. Thank you to my service advisor, technician and owner. They all did a great job

This place is amazing! I read the reviews and had to check them out. Clayton and the rest of the office are SO friendly, as soon as I walked in I got an overall welcoming vibe. He explained what might be wrong with my car and I didnt get the sense that he would cheat me like I do most places. They got done fairly quickly as well despite being backed up. I am definitely choosing this place for my shop to go to and will recommend this place to anybody that needs car help

I recommend NOT to go here. These guys will try to rip you off under the notion of being “Christians.”I had a check engine light and the nearby Jiffy Lube indicated to me free of charge that there was an issue with my EVAP system.I then went to CBA in hopes of fixing my car. There they told me that I have to first get a full diagnostic before work could be done even though I knew what the issue was. I proceeded to pay $130 for it where they confirmed the issue with the EVAP system. They quoted me $575 for parts and labor. They also quoted me $890 on additional things on their report, including changing just my rear brakes.When I asked them what the different parts do and what the breakdown of the cost of labor was, their lead mechanic answered me in an aggressive and off-putting manner that led me to go to another mechanic. That other place that told me the issue was simply caused by a hose that broke. They changed the hose out for me for just $5 and didn’t even charge me for labor since it was so easy to replace! That fixed my problem. Had I did the work at CBA, I would have been out a lot more money for such a simple issue.I hope they conduct business in a more fair manner being Christians for others.

Thank you so much Christian Brothers for going above and beyond to fix my nightmare experience with KwikKar on Old Denton Drive in Carrollton. I went to Kwik Kar for a simple oil change and I had the worse experience it ended up with the angry employee tossing my oil cap and letting me drive off without it. This could have ignited a flash fire from the large amount of oil that sprayed all over my engine.I called around for references and several people recommended Christian Brothers in Carrollton so I took my car there the next day to get another oil change. They were so nice and even cleaned the oil off my engine and hood. They have shuttle service and were on time with everything. I came in to run some diagnostics on my car after having been deployed for a year and they took care of major issues in record time. Any other shop would have kept my car for two days I’m sure. We we’re on the road driving from Arkansas moving to Hawaii via San Diego when we arrived in the Metroplex..... car trouble. Decided on Christian Brothers as we did not know where to go with the problem. Fast and friendly

Went in for a $170 battery and almost got stuck with replacing my alternator for $1400. Shocked doesn’t exactly describe how I felt when I saw this amount. They had me panicked when all they had to do was reset everything to make the battery light go off on my dash. I would recommend doing that first next time before putting someone in panic. They were nice but I question their intentions.

I came here to get an alignment, and they told me I had to pay $400 to get my inner tie rod ends replaced because they couldnt get them off because there was an excess of clay built up on them. I took my car to two mechanics who said they were perfectly fine, and got my car aligned somewhere else with no issues. The front desk clerk was rude after I started asking questions about the estimate and when I asked for my car keys back. I wont be going to Christian Brothers again.

I have been there a few times and they only make recommendations when something really needs work, I appreciate that. Especially being a female and doesnt know much about cars, most mechanics want to take advantage of that!
