After evaluation of existing AC System, We decided to replace all with new.A request for quote was completed within one day with four possible solutions. Once a preference was determined, it required less than one week to schedule the conversion.Crew arrived on the date and time scheduled and prepared our home with coverings to protect carpets and floors.Old equipment was removed and replaced with new, two modifications to existing ducts, operational testing and clean-up, all within eight hours. We are very satisfied with our new system.Accolades to Maxwell for the well trained crew who were very respectful of ourselves and property while completing their work efficiently.

It has been a little more than a month since our new HVAC unit was installed. I have yet to have any problems or buyers remorse . The 2 man crew that installed our unit was more than professional.... They were on time. After installation was complete one of the installers walked me through the setup of my new system. I would give 10 stars if it were possible.

I have been very impressed with Maxwell. They have done repair work for me and they also replaced my home HVAC system. The are professional and very competent.

The first guy came out and complained the whole time. Got up in the attic still complaining maybe to himself but was out loud. Said the my thermostat on the wall was wired the wrong way. Moved one wire over and said it would get me through the winter. Heat still doesnt work. Charged me $203.00. Called again and a second guy comes out stays 7 minutes says my valve on the furnace was bad and it would cost me $500.00 for the part. Then left. Unexceptable!

We were in need of a new heat pump for our house. All of our recommendations from friends pointed us to Maxwells Heating and Cooling. I contacted Maxwells back in March and scheduled an appointment with Greg Powers. Greg came to our home, looked at what needed to be installed, and went over every detail with me. He was extremely courteous and professional. Once we decided that the best option was a 4-ton, dual speed Lennox heat pump, we scheduled the installation. Donald Daniel and Shawn Pope installed the new unit in approximately 6 hours. Both Donald and Shawn were extremely courteous and professional as well. These 3 gentleman made this such an easy process. I highly recommend them for any of your HVAC needs.By the way, our 1st two power bills have been cut by approximately 40%! My wife called because our heater was blowing out cool air the first time we turned it on this year. Maxwell sent someone out to look at it, and they worked only on the air conditioner; which resulted in a $400+ charge for servicing the AC. After my wife paid and tech left, she realized that he had it set on AC, and that it was the AC and not the heater that was worked on and charged for. She called the tech and they returned that afternoon to fix the heater for no charge, but only after we paid over $400 for servicing the AC; which was showing no issues and during a time of the year that the AC wouldnt be used. Glad we werent charged again for the return service, but still worried that the simple fix performed on the heater wont last and we will have to pay all over again.

Excellent customer service from Greg Powers, Comfort Advisor, and Shawn Pope, Comfort Specialist, with advice on best system needed to replace my aging furnace and installation!I know nothing about how heating and air systems work in tandem, but was given step-by-step process of why my blower was making horrible humming sounds. Greg gave me several options in a timely, cost effective quote when he said it would be done. Shawn and crew showed up a few minutes early(never happens with other vendors-you are always given a 2-4 hour range you must wait around for) and got right to work!So I didn’t have to climb up into attic, both Greg & Shawn took pics to show and explain what was going on with the furnace, including poor previous installation of gas line, wrong air filter size that left gap for inefficient filtering, and a poorly installed water pan I paid $162 last year by another company that was not draining and already rusted.I also saved 5% because I paid cash immediately after installation!! $132 savings!!!Thanks Maxwell Heating/Air for being an awesome LOCAL company that employees LOCAL community members to take care of business!! Called Maxwell for a initial service after we moved into our new home. Jarred arrived, did a complete system check and found that a compressor unit repair from a reputable company was done incorrectly. Jarred corrected the problem and now the system is operating within manufacturers specs. I couldnt say enough good things about this company. But a few to exite are, out of three estimates for the exact same new unit it was the least expensive, and the installers found a return duct that had been sheetrocked over since the house was built and it is now functioning at no additional cost. During the install I had a sleeping infant that was startled by the sound of the drill and the tech swapped drills to a low noise drill so it didnt wake the baby. My house is cooler than its ever been and I havent received a power bill yet but from what I understand it will be a fraction of the cost as well. Thank you so much for all that you did.

I recently had the privilege of having Maxwell Heating and Air Conditioning install a whole new system in my home. Of course, some people just think that it is a matter of putting in two units (heating and air) and that is all there is. Well, there is much more. :-) I have been living in my home for 45 years (through two remodelings) and our shrubbery, especially the giant boxwoods are so special to us. I had the great fortune to have Donald and Shawn to install my system and they did an amazing job! The units work wonderfully and the shrubbery looks as if no one has even been there. You must realize that the new air conditioner was at least 50% larger than the original so it took some maneuvering to get it in place without damaging the boxwoods - and they did it just perfectly! Hats off to them. :-) Plus, the system is so wonderful! It is so very quiet and efficient. I highly recommend this outstanding company. They are amazing all the way around.
