Unfortunately you have to have a guardian or someone who is I think the age of 16+ to accompany you if your below that age which is sad because im 14 and went to this PF constantly and the employees recognize me. I worked out with my older brother but now he’s in college and can’t come I just want to workout and get strong for wrestling and in general but unfortunately I can’t anymore and I’m not dumb I researched for the best workouts and everything I’m really happy to workout and it’s motivating. But I can’t because not to long ago I went by myself to do chest day as soon as I get on the treadmill to run I get kicked out in 1 minute and I can’t do anything about it and all the other gyms are very very expensive :/

Easy $10/$20 membership lots of equipment, app gives you an idea how busy it is, open 24 hours on weekdays.

This is a great gym, especially for beginners. They have a lot of good equipment for a variety of exercises, all for a reasonable price. Staff are pretty friendly and do a good job of keeping the place clean. Their model is to create a welcoming environment, to the point where slamming weights and grunting arent allowed. Do what you will with this. My biggest issue is the lack of a legit squat rack and bench press, the only have the rail system.

Nice facility with a lot of equipment to use. My only issue is that Chris up front is very rude. It is unfortunate because all the other staff members are very friendly.

Actually the gym is fine especially for the price but they have serious problem with management.This guy Chris was being really unhelpful last time I tried to come in with my son. I’m black card member so that means I should be able to bring guest any time and just like I did several times before.He told me that my son needs to have scanner code on his phone that would come from my phone.Obviously this was a new rule since before we only needed to give them just phone number.Problem was that my son didn’t have a phone with him so I asked the guy to let as in this time and next time we will do the code thing.But he didn’t want to hear it..he kept saying that is the rules and we can’t use the gym.Argument got little heated and I do regret that part but manager Chris didn’t do nothing to take care of situation he only made it worse!!I canceled my membership right there and then .. I just think that any company don’t need this kind of people in their ranks especially management.

This place is super clean, new equipment nothing is broken and staff are always working on something to keep the clean sanitary. The only downside would be there isnt really a machine to deadlift and the Smith machines are raised so its not ideal for deadlifting. Other than that 9.9-10

I’ve been to two other locations, but by far I like this one best. It’s spacious, clean and the staff are very nice.

Great place to workout variety of equipment great atmosphere and for $10.00 a month come on try no obligation. Every time u leave this place u will feel refreshed and stress free 🙋‍♀️

Place is great has everything you need to get a good workout. But Im a OTR DRIVER. This the only facility that doesnt proved body wash on the showers. So I couldnt take a shower. I travel all over the US and never have I seen that.

Drive all the way there to find out they are not open website says open 24 hrs. False advertising wasted my gas and time. Someone needs to be held responsible for updating the website.

Its a new property and it was super clean and not busy.

One of the better PFs Ive been to. Updated equipment, lots of space. Morning staff is beyond friendly! The entire gym is always clean, including the locker room/bathroom.

A great gym that isnt overly crowded during the day, if you want a place to work and not feel self conscious about your surroundings this is the place to go

Cant beat the price, but the marketing of a judgement free zone is laughable. Ive heard the lunk alarm go off a few times since Ive been going (less than a month). I dont know if it was for me or another patron. Needless to say, in either case I felt very judged.RE: I have no interest in reaching out to local management. Im just pointing out the hypocrisy of saying its a judgement free zone while you provide a way to publicly shame people if you dont like how theyre acting. Thats just a way to ensure a judgemental environment.

This location is a great place to be if you need to workout during the pandemic. I live in Bartlett and I’m whiling to drive 20 minutes to this location due to its workout equipment and cleaning that is a lot more better than the Bloomingdale location and the crew is constantly cleaning the equipment. I want to thanks the manager and the crew for the excellent job.

This is one of the nicer PFs. More space, newer machines and weights. Always clean.

As a national tradesman I can tell you this location is top notch. Well-maintained facilities & equipment with a consistently professional staff over the past year. If yall looking to join a gym around Carol Stream this is the one as long as you dont have the need to Super Sayan or Hulk... Planet Fitness frowns upon the dramatic flair and dont provide dumbbells heavier than a gallon of milk but theres certainly enough to look like Britney Spears or Christian Bale through any phase of their careers.

I absolutely like this gym. Would be perfect IF not chemicals in a cleaning sprays that every individual keeps spraying. That makes overwhelming to me. I am getting a head aches and sick in my stomach, my eyes burning. I am not able to stay at a gym longer then 20 min - 30 min. I would love to go more often and spent more time there. No one other gym using these health hazardous chemicals. I never got sick like that before. I HOPE that Planet Fitness administration will take closer look and start concern about the members health.

I visit different planet fitnesses throughout the week depending where I’m working but this is my home gym where I work out most often. It’s always very clean and kept up. Locker rooms and black card amenities are always very clean.The staff has always been very nice except for this morning which prompted this review. Came in early on a Sunday, when I walked in the guy on staff was sitting up in the counter behind the desk on his phone. He never looked up to greet me.Upon leaving I asked to tan and buy a water. Being both of us were wearing masks and there was loud music playing I had to ask him to repeat himself a few times. He was so irritated by this he basically rolled his eyes at me. I definitely did not feel welcome and felt like I was being a bother by asking to use amenities I pay extra fir each month. I really hope this guy was either just having a bad day or doesn’t stick around too long because if that continues I’ll drive an extra two miles to the Wheaton location for better customer service.

Due to COVID concerns, I tried canceling membership for me and my father. After temporarily stopping the monthly fee collections from the patrons, they started automatic deductions from both of us when they thought it was safe to restart the gym. When I called to cancel my membership, they asked me to come in person, as it is a contract policy. No concessions for COVID-19?! I did not want to continue to COVID and the irony is they were asking me to come in to cancel in person.My father still went in person and put his membership on a freeze and they only did it for a month before restarting the collection of monthly fee and our annual fee. Manager Octavio was very adamant. Between both of us we had to forfeit several months of membership and annual fee. Horrible experience at this money hungry corporate franchise. Don’t fall for the $10 monthly!Editing my review because response from the owner didnt help. My email to them also went in vain.

Worst staff and management ever! I tried cancelling my membership but the staff was not able to help me at all. I had to make 3 trips to the gym to get my membership cancelled but still got charged for the month. When I talked to the manager about a refund, she told she me could not do that. The staff and the management is not helpful at all. I recommend not going to this location!

I went to try out the planet fitness club and I was helped by an extremely helpful and polite young man. The regional manager a woman who is extremely rude was drinking soda and eating pizza at the front desk was asked a question and couldn’t be anymore rude. The club is nice and clean and newer. The attitude of this person represented this club poorly.

I was so excited to find out a planet fitness was going to be less than 2 minutes from my house. No more excuses for not going. I love PF in general but I love the convenience of the Carol Stream location so much better. The staff is extremely nice. They actually talk to you. I dont mind going now, even when its freezing outside. Thank you so much.

I didnt want to have to leave a poor review for the Carol Stream Planet Fitness, but I honestly dont know how else to cancel charges to my card. Im hoping this will get their attention. Ive called in 8 times now in the past 7 months requesting that they stop charging my wifes paused membership and each time someone on staff promises to have the manager call back and figure this issue out for me. Ive had no call from a manager yet and apparently each time I call, the manager is not there. It shouldnt be this difficult.

Very clean and tidy. There are plenty of cardio machines and workout machines. The new staff they have hired are much more polite and helpful than the last.

Great gym with great staff, almost everyone who goes here cleans the machines and benches when they are done using them, very considerate community. I feel no shame coming to this gym. Very friendly staff and clean location!

By far my favorite planet fitness in the area. A lot of machines and the way it’s set up is comfortable. There’s an small area in a back corner with room to do floor exercises and mats that’s more private than any other planet fitness I’ve seen. Staff seems uninterested but I never really expect much from a gym’s staff anyway.

This is a brand new location for PF. The size is incredible, the equipment brand new and well laid out, the staff are friendly and helpful. Ample parking and easy to get to. Best gym decision Ive ever made!

Been here multiple times with a with a guest. Most days they just scan the card dont even question the guest. Couple times they question the guest for an account. One day they say nothing next the guest needs an account and sign in. Say all guest need it. Yall need to get on the same page across all shifts then stead here and there. I came to work out not be questioned when yesterday was fine today its a problem.

I am a veteran that served overseas in Iraq. I started going back to the gym as part of my healing process.When I asked politely for them to change the channel on one of their tv, I was told I have to speak to a manager which I agreed and is understandable. I spoke to the manager on staff. Explained my problem with my PTSD and my Brain injury. The only channel I requested for them to change is the history channel. I love history channel just not when they show stuff of war. The manager try to explain that she can’t because she would have to do it for everybody. Which I understand. She tried comparing if somebody doesn’t like CNN that she’ll have to change the Fox News station.( which Fox and CNN are both on the screens at all times) I tried to explain to her my situation with the PTSD and she told me she didn’t care her brother served in the army.lol no I also have a stutter. So it was very embarrassing that she kept trying to argue with me after I told her multiple times I am not gonna argue with her. I kept on requesting her name in the corporate number but again she kept on arguing until one of her other staff members jumped in and gave me corporate number and her name. This place is a nice place to work out but if you have an issue with something the management is horrible and will more likely argue with you. Also this is not a veteran friendly place. I question if the whole corporation is veteran friendly.

Got the membership and i was told i have till 17th of Jan. to cancel for no charge and i cancelled at 11 and when i did the lady was like he didnt know what he was talking about somewhere in the agreement it says 3 days “I can print it for you if you want” the lady said, so i payed 58 dollars for it and they made sense i was just dumb enough to trust their employees. But the fun part is after that on 17th they charged me another 20 dollars for the monthly membership like what is going on over here!?!? Honestly stay away from this place they will gwt you when they get a chance.

This is the only place on the planet where Ive had to explain to the police that Im only washing my hair, because the guy at the front desk [Chris] thought [I] was trying to kill [myself].WTF?I thought by paying my membership fee 2 months in advance, it would limit getting harassed by the fuzz down to outside the parking lot area. Not there in the locker room of my gym while Im naked and taking a shower. Should we all be that worried about suicides in the shower of the Carol Stream Planet Fitness? Or is your clerk a little worked up over his own life that hes asking me if I want to pray with him while Im getting dressed after my traumatic experience in the shower. And this occurred on the morning of April 20th 2019. Not last year. Maybe I should call the cops..

Always down the hot water, people work out before they go to work so they need a hot water. Please fix it ASAP..
