After my second MVP service from Pai in Carmichael, I am confident she is the real deal. She asks good questions so she is clear of the objective before she begins cutting, her movements are confident and precise, and she gives great attention to details. Her attitude throughout convinced me she is sincere in her desire to give her clients an excellent experience.

I have had some of the best haircuts ever there. Im a 68 year old man with a long hair. Friendly and nice people sometimes you have to wait a little bit.

This place is totally unreliable. I’ve been using their services for over two years now. Sport Clips can be really spotty in general, but when you find a stylist you like it can be ok—if you can even get in. I use their app to check in, which can be ok, if you’re fine waiting three hours. Last week I checked in and when I arrived, I wasn’t on the board. My stylist saw me, but didn’t even say anything. Today I checked in—mind you, you have to wait until 10:05 to even do this, and when I arrived the person I had scheduled for my haircut left. I’ve had it. I understand being understaffed, but after a year or more it’s their fault. I always spend about $50, plus a $10-15 tip. I’m happy to spend my money somewhere else that will appreciate it.

My service here was wonderful! Lorena did a fantastic job and was pleasant to talk to throughout my entire experience. My haircut is exactly what I requested and I will definitely be returning to her in the future! Thank you!

So thankful my son was able to work with Pai. Shes very calm and professional and patient with my son who does have some special needs. She was very professional when speaking to me afterwards, and the haircut was so amazing compared to what we normally get at the other sports clip, Im definitely going to be driving the extra 10 minutes it takes to get to the sports clip versus the one right next to my house. Pai was that amazing!

Due to the pandemic, I hadnt had a cut or color from my regular stylist in about 6 months. I reached a breaking point with my mop and went for the literally any get in and get out haircut I could find in my area which happened to be Sports Clips. At first, I have to admit I was a little put-off by one of the hair-stylists (blond lady), stating very bluntly... I dont do womens cuts when she saw that I was next. I mentioned that I had called prior to arriving to make sure they did do womens cuts. Then she repeated that she didnt do them and added especially with all THAT going on...then pointed to all my hair. Immediately, the other stylist stopped what she was doing and came up to the front and said Yes, we all do womens hair, even YOU (as she looked at the blonde lady). I was not feeling very secure at that point and I was considering walking back out in frustration. However, Pai...the sweet sweet hair stylist who came to reassure me that they can ALL cut womens hair...offered to take me as soon as she was finished with her customer if I could wait a few more minutes. I agreed. Let me just tell you...BEST DECISION EVER! Pai is sweet, friendly and talented. She took my hair from a giant mop of long broom straws to a short, sassy and layered cut I LOVE! Even better, my husband loved it when I got home...so bonus! I would give Pai 5+ stars on Google, but because the other stylist was so rude and had zero people skills...I cut one off for the overall experience.

Called in at 10:00, only one person ahead of you, come on in. Get there, at least three people ahead of me, the wait will be an hour, I think only one hair dresser working . . . I waited and waited, they said theyd call. Its two hours later and no call . . .

My hair is ridiculously thick and absolutely straight but Pai did a fantastic job. Easily top five haircuts of all time. Yes, it was that good.

This was my first time going here, and I have to say that I was very impressed. Angelique was the lady that cut my hair. I found her to be very nice, professional, and helpful. I have very thick and curly hair and it makes it difficult to get a decent haircut. Angelique was able to identify a short, easy to maintain cut that would work well with my difficult to manage hair. I will absolutely be returning for future visits, and would have no problem referring friends and family to this establishment. 5/5 Stars!

I like this place. The massage chairs are original and nowhere near as good when they first opened. These chairs are ready for the pasture. Always seem to be new stylists though, so consistency is not always the same. Still get a hair cut though, my same head, my same hair, my same hair cut, not always the same. Not bad, but I like some better than others.

Not only that I sit there for an hour, I sat there for 45 minutes on deck. Some guy came 30 minutes after I did, he had 40 minutes to wait for a stylist. Not only did he get seen before me, but it moved me from “on-deck” to then having to wait 40 minutes. Don’t ever go to sports clips. Especially this locations. Horrible stylists.

Ive had some good experiences here. Its sport clips. The prices have creeper up but the cuts have remained consistent. I did recently have a stylist suggest a scissor cut rather than my go-to number 5 guard clipper cut. Turns out I liked it and was really glad to see an employee offer a suggestion to improve things for me. I could do without the upsale on shampoo but I understand that is just policy.

My husband and I have tried this place out twice so far. Our first visit resulted in a haircut that needed to desperately grow out, since the lady did such a hack job on it. How someone who went to cosmetology school can mess up so badly is beyond me, but thats neither here nor there. Our second visit was MUCH BETTER! He recieved a very clean-cut look and had it styled very nicely. The place is a little pricey for just a basic cut, but youre paying for the atmosphere, which I GUESS is appealing to some. Its advertised as being an experience, since their waiting area has stadium seats, theyre constantly playing sports on the TV, and they offer hot towel soaks during the haircut process. With all this being said, this place is pretty much Super Cuts geared toward men. My husband wants to find a barber in the area that doesnt go for all the unnecessary frills, since hes really just looking for a consistently nice haircut from an experienced stylist.

Great place to put your name on a list, be told its about a 20 minute wait and then proceed to see multiple customers walk in after you and get haircuts first. I heard one of the stylists say they dont do appointments over the phone. So I see no excuse here. First and last time here.

I am usually very picky about my haircuts, but I had a very nice one this past time with Sports Clips. Very fast (if you check in online), and very professional job. The lady that cut my hair had years of experience and did exactly what I asked!

Friendly and did a great job

They did an ok job but the haircut itself was not the problem. Its pretty expensive as is but they upsell you nonstop and are very aggressive. I couldnt just sit and relax without them trying to ram some $40 organic tea tree oil product down my throat.

Today was the 3rd time Ive been in and the 2nd time having Jessica cut my hair. Im a sports clip customer for hahalike hahaha. Jessica rocks! Great personality and very friendly and professional.

I had to wait 1 hour and 36 minutes and I had to pay slightly more Plus driving further for a haircut that was equal to or less than the quality I would have got from somewhere like Supercuts. I was very disappointed and will probably never go back.

A bit on the pricey side but worth it especially with free trims in between. Cheri and Pai are both really great!

I have my favorite that I will only go to ever since the first time I came into the Carmichael site I have been to all of Sacramento ones and this is my favorite one because my stylist Angelic can up w the perfect style for me to wear my hair three four different ways and it’s short buzzed and cut with scissors and since I’m a bi-level leg amputee she makes it so easy for me weather I have my sexy carbon fiber micro-bionic legs on or in my speedy trusted wheelchair it doesn’t matter she accommodates me either way. Also suggest good times for me to come so I am not rushing trying to get in and out navigating parking lot or anything. I always get the upgraded cut hot towel neck shoulder massage cuz I need it being on crutches or in chair for last couple years since I have lost legs. And the hair wash also cuz then I don’t have to get back to house climb in and out shower all that again since I usually wash my hair at home in shower so I have clean hair with out all the hair grease or hair products I wear. And while we are on that subject there is always new product specials the she tells me bout or spends the time telling bout products that I may like or that are new there from puc soap which is a must for humans in wheel chairs and men read side package it’s a laugh but awesome product also the scull oil and the tree tea hair and hand body oil lotion and many many more products to varied to go into now and the know all the products the carry very well. I mean WOW! hands up! wow...! Im very satisfied when I received a free hair cut during the forth of july! my hair was cut earlier these months by a barber shop that were giving out free hair cuts at a church during a sheriff, and homeless out reach event. They messed up my entire get up! I looked like a major dork, with the uneven, and crooked hair due ever! I messed it up even more trying to make it look better with a face razor. then a miracle happened, and I as i walked passed a fire work stand, on fair oaks blvd. I was handed a tickets it looked like for a film or a ball game.It was a ticket pass for 1free hair cut at sports clips! The next day,... so I went, and they were very professional like, with expert skill...They had there own style to there profession. Instead of the bland old barbers, like super cuts! this place has the most outstanding hair stylist! I just received my very fist satisfied cut of my half life!!!:) I was looking great I felt awesome. I was even sprayed with pepper spray in the eyes later in the week. From a man, and his last words of anger, and out rage. After he surprised me with a heavey dose of bear mace into my eyes!!!...what he said was: YOU HAVE ENOUGH MONEY FOR A NEW HAIR CUT, BUT NOT ENOUGH TO PAY ME BACK? At that moment I realized he was holding a dark cylyder canister about the sise of a shampoo bottle was facing right between my eyes. I was shot with a surprise of agony its no joke this stuff...and to think it was free my hair cut i was shot down for was FREE!!!...mmm, Wow...yeah!:)
