If you want anything fixed you need to put it in writing. Then keep Fair Housing on speed dial.Im still having ongoing problems with my fence. Seems its my responsibility to fix it and to clean up after the constuction crew in my backyard. They left concrete, cigarette buds, water bottles as well as Motor Oil I emailed management and they said they will have the Property Manager fix it. I waited over a week and my fence was still not fixed. The construction crew left 4 wood panels off my fence. I have two dogs as well as my neighbors have dogs as well. Well I had to hire a handyman to put my fence back together and clean up the debree from construction crew. Its a beautiful day here at ReNew!!

Very unprofessional management. Their phone calls go to an outsourced facility so they give you wrong information. This lady Justine scheduled a tour with us to show an apartment. We called multiple times the day of to get some important information as they did not provide us with any details in their email, only to be told “they will call us back” and they never did. We wasted 2 hours waiting around on them. When we got there (an hour long drive after) the ladies in the office told us they have nothing to show us. And the rent price they told us was much higher than what Justine told us. Very very annoying!! We still looked at the property on our own and it’s definitely not worth living at. Broken down apartment buildings and very dirty. Ghetto looking. Horrible management, none of them knew what they were doing.

My husband and I were searching for apartments and got great information from the agent at the office. Brittany H. was informative and eccentric and we loved the property.

No parking. Water is always getting shut off with no notice. Management doesn’t care and are very rude. And there are bed bugs in the apartments

Love it here! Manager gets things done and is very sweet and approachable! Maintenance is fast and gets the job done right the first time. Great place for kids and families with dogs. Complex is clean, safe and quiet.

I have lived here for only 5 months but in that time, I feel very positive about the safety of the complex. The tenants here are friendly and clean, and the staff is all very friendly and respectful. Staff is around all the time, working on improvements, and keeping the complex clean. It is an older complex and the exterior is weathered but they are always making improvements. I have had nothing but good experiences with the manager Heather, and Alyssa, manager’s assistant, as well as the maintenance men and women. The one time I had to make a complaint about a neighbor, Heather was on top of the issue and followed up with me on multiple occasions. Not long after, that tenant was evicted. My unit is in good condition, no problems ever, very clean and well maintained with the exception of the carpet. Old stains reappeared even though the carpet was cleaned before I moved in...no big deal. The rent is reasonable considering the amenities and the fact that they do allow dogs over 20 lb. This was one of the main reasons I chose this complex as it is difficult to find affordable housing that allows larger dogs. And while many tenants have dogs, I have not noticed any issues as a result (noise, waste, loose dogs etc). I would say the only downside is the limited parking. 1 assigned spot per unit, so if you have 2 cars the person who gets home earliest has to park in an unassigned spot so that those who get home later have a spot to park. But from my experience parking can be tricky in most complexes. I am the nosy neighbor type who is critical of my neighbors and the professionalism of working staff, so I pay close attention to the goings on in the complex and I feel good about this complex and its safety.

Been living here for a couple years now and honestly i wouldnt go anywhere else! i love the people around me my neighbors are awesome. The staff that works here are the best. Maintenance always gets things done and in a timely manner. Heather and Alyssa in the office are always so warm and friendly anything You need they go above and beyond.

I’ve had work orders out for months and called code enforcement to get things fixed! They want to charge a mint to live here but don’t want to fix anything. My fence has been needing repairs for months they say we need a permit. It has come to the point where I had no choice but to hire a attorney for mold in my unit. However if your rent is late they will send a letter quickly! Or suggest if your not happy then your welcome to move! All I want is repairs to be fixed. As far as construction they don’t have permits to finish what they started. What company starts a project without the proper permits? That would be ReNew Carmichael! Good luck when you call if you can actually talk to someone in the office all I ever get is a answering service! We do live in a gated community. However all of our gates are broken and left open and being held together with rope. They took out our security cameras and all of the speed bumps. Welcome home to ReNew Carmichael! A great place to live! Anyone is welcome to reach out to me and I would be more then happy to provide them pictures! Dont forget our water is turned off art least two times a week with no notice. They charge us for running water! Guarantee it will be tures on by 5:00 because maintenance goes home.

This place is a dump. No managers onsite, no security, etc.. Rent prices continuously raise and no improvements made. New owners and they dont seem to care. Renter beware.

The front office people are nice and have been very helpful. Maintenance gets around to you sooner then later. Two pools, little gym, one parking spot for each apartment with extra for people who have two vehicles. Multiple laundry facilities that seem to be empty most of the time. Well kept exterior of the apartments and in a good location close to anything you would need.

I have lived here for a while I love it! Manager is very easy to talk to and gets her job done! Last manager loved to put useless notices on my door this one doesnt waste paper. I only wish they had a kids area but I guess thats what the park across the street is for :)

I personally think that this is a great complex and I enjoy it. Nice floor plan convenient location. I have never had a problem here.

I have lived here 2 years now, I can say this complex is great . I have not had any theft or anything happen here, Ive had two maintenance calls the entire time being here and the problems were fixed immediately.Maintenance is five star they wave,smile and get to know all tenants makes it feel more like a community . The office staff is amazing as well they have always been understanding and friendly. When I first moved in I have the income to rent but my credit was not great but they gave me the chance which no other apartments did because of credit, I have had nothing but great experiences from this complex affordable, comfortable, and friendly . Five star all the way keep up the amazing work !!(P.s as for the other reviews about the mildew, learn to wash your window seals with bleach like normal people 😂😂😂 keeping a clean house with cleaners with will do a world of difference this is an occurance no matter where you live ))) just saying

Recently moved out due to relocating for work. Absolutely amazing staff and very well run apartments. Management is very friendly, never had a single problem. Would definitely recommend.

Horrible management. They lied to me and stole my belongings when I was gone. I just won a lawsuit against this complex because of the mold in between the walls that they j7st cover up. We lived there almost 8 years and I would never recommend this place to ANYONE! Think about it, if I won the lawsuit(outside of court) what does that tell you??? Scroll down and read the response from the owner. They say we have mildew not mold due to single pane windows....guess what people? Milder is MOLD MOLD MOLD and they do just cover it up. I got into a huge arguement with the manager about my windows. I lived there way l8nger than her and when I moved in I had DOUBLE PANE WINDOWS AND SLIDING GLASS DOOR!!! I told her that and she said, well I ought to know Im the manager I was like omg. I had to take pictures of them to send her to show her. Its apt #173 go look for yourself. All double pane.

Alissa and Heather... Where to start first with these two. I give the apartments a solid 2.5.. Pros. Affordable and quiet. Plus you have central air and heating. Good parking, gated area. Cons: the Leasing assistant is rude. All she does all day is sit there at her desk on her phone eating. Every time I come in the office shes rude and doesnt want to answer my question I have so I have to come back when the managers available. I feel that Manager Heather only kept her at the apartment complex is because they are friends. They break all rules of equality in working in apartments. I know my english is a little off but they will make u feel belittled All the Maintenance men look at females butt when their walking even her husband. I stayed here for enough time my husband and I got lots of MOLD in the place we was in and one of the neighbors told me they get alot also except they had CHILDREN. When asked what to do they tell you to clean it up yourself but when you move in they say if you see any mold TELL US IMMEDIATELY.. WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO CLEAN MOLD THEY KEEP PAINTING OVER WHEN PEOPLE MOVE IN. THE Washers and dryers are never working and always have your clothes smelling like mold after you put them in the dryer.

Im a tenant whos lived here going on 3 years. I dont know whos writing these positive reviews but it must be people who dont live here. The girls in the office are incompetent and unprofessional. They refuse to give you their bosses contact info or help you with questions with any level of respect. My rent keeps increasing yearly while the property itself keeps rapidly declining. Would not recommend anyone to move here.

I am not the person named above. After the review i posted at the end of Feb beginning of March i was blocked. Do not move into this place. My daughter and i lived there almost 8 years and i dont recognize ANY of the names on the 5 star reviews. I shared back in Feb about vacating my apartment immediately. i had become so sick with major health issues and so had my daughter, couldnt figure out why though. On Dec 27th my central heat and air went out, i was very sick at the time. I was informed i would be without heat for pretty much a month (28 days). It was getting down to 30 degrees at night. I had double pane windows and those didnt help. Getting to the point. Mold started growing through the linoleum from under my apartment(i was downstairs) and through the walls in the bedroom and the bedroom closet. I had an environmental specialist come into the apartment and test the mold(after previous request to have it cleaned up and being told it was my fault for not leaving a window open 24/7 while i had no heat in the dead of winter in 30 degree weather) there were 3 different types of toxic molds detected. The mold spore count in the bedroom alone was 374% higher than it was outside 5 feet from my front door, the count inside your home should never be higher than outside. We vacated immediately due to our health issues and figuring out what was causing it. We have been treated like 2nd class citizens, like we have done something wrong. My belongings have been gone through (i took photos before i left). This past thursday July 6th i had that same environmental specialist go in to test my belongings this time. He takes the samples to a lab that analysis under a chain of custody and are inspected, licensed, and or proficiency tested by the following: American Industrial Hygiene Association(AIHA) and Environmental Microbiology Proficiency Analytical Testing(EMPAT) this is how reliable these test results are. There are what were found on my personal belongings. The first one is highly toxic to humans, it should NEVER EVER be discovered inside of your home. STACHYBOTRYS CHARTARUM, CLADOSPORIUM SP.,PENICILLIUM/ASPERGILLUS SP., TORUAL SP., AND ULOCLADIUM SP., are the mold spores that were on my belongings. One thing the lab report stated was sample was abnormal that means there was ACTIVE mold growth on my personal belongings. I was informed there should be settles mold spores NOT ACTUAL GROWTH! there are 8 apartments connected where my old unit is. i know for a fact 4 others besides myself have mold issues. Mold spores Travel inside the walls of water damaged buildings, they penetrate right through walls and are invisible to the naked eye. They are Well aware of this issue, you can see for yourself what actions have been taken if you look at the building.all the way in the back directly behind Libbys hair salon. Please do not move in there especially with children. The ill affects and medical conditions that are brought on due to mold poisoning are not worth living there for!!!!

Front office is awful. For the last 3 days my wife and I have attempted reach this place, JUST TO ASK A QUESTION. We have been ignored purposefully, to the point heather (I believe was her name) even faked a voice mail message machine to avoid actually talking to us! About as unprofessional as anyone could be. Wouldnt rent from here if a wet cardboard box was the only other option.

The manager here is actually extremely nice and makes sure everything gets done that needs to be done. When i call for maintenance they come that day or the next day and fix what i need. It is easily to just go in and pay your rent and walk out the office employees and maintenance people are all extremely nice and i couldnt imagine living in any other apartments. They only write notices to people if it is absolutely necessary like their breaking the rules of some sort or being to loud like it should be you are in apartments you have to be considerate of your nieghbors. Yes there is only one pool open but thats because people havent been watching their kids and they keep throwing rocks in and messing up the pumps. Most of the tenants in the apartments are extremely nice and easy to talk to if anything happens most people look out for everyone. I have lived in these apartment for 2 1/2 years since the begining of 2014 and this is the second manager since weve lived here and i can honestly say she gets done what she needs to get done and tries to make sure everyone gets what they need.

If there is any bad people and place in great Sacramento, it this place, dont waste your time

My girlfriend and I lived here for 1 year and have mixed feelings about our living experience. The positives are that they allow all sizes of dogs and charge almost nothing for them to be there compared to other apartments animal fees. Everyone gets one free parking space which not all apartments do and the maintenance team answers the requests put in VERY quickly. Now for the negatives of living here…don’t bother calling the office. Most likely they won’t answer and if they do it’s their call center and they will most likely give you incorrect information or not know the answer at all. The office does get upset if YOU don’t answer though so that was very irritating. Although the maintenance team works quickly, they also leave a mess after finishing whatever they were doing. They left some random wood boards against our apartment wall(exterior) for months and a ladder. The water gets shut off every few months (it seems like) and most of the time they don’t send an email that it is happening until AFTER it’s already been shut off. The location looks very pretty since it’s across from the park but keep in mind it’s close to a firehouse so there’s an ambulance blaring by about every few hours which was disappointing in the mornings. Also, they charge an arm and a leg to do your laundry and the soda machine will most likely take your money so don’t bother. If you’re looking for an apartment that is simple and cute and close by stuff then choose this apartment. If you’re looking for an apartment that has good communication, sends notifications for upcoming work, or if you want a quiet apartment…KEEP LOOKING!
