I joined perfect workout in 2018 and after working out once a week for a year the difference was significant! I knew as I aged the key to optimum health would be my strength... And their program impacts all components of health: strength, core strength, balance, which all factor back into a better mental outlook so better nutrition choices and it becomes a full circle. The only thing I would change is the cost. I wish they offered some sort of gym access membership hours where a trainer is not required as part of the package. The cost is comparable to having a private trainer but a private trainer works out with you for a full hour. That being said I love the slow motion approach because it gets results fast and is safe.Thanks perfect workout.I cant wait to be back when the studio is open and the pandemic is behind us. (In the meantime thanks for the awesome virtual workouts at my house w/ Jennifer)!
Ive been training at the Perfect Workout for almost three years now. As a former professional ballerina, when I retired from dance I needed a safe way to continue to workout my body, while also transitioning to a completely new schedule in life. This happened to be the perfect fit. The amount of improvement in my muscles with just a 20 minute workout once a week is amazing. Ive worked with 4 different trainers over all my time here, but have been with DJ for over a year now. For me he is the perfect combination of a trainer that can push me, but will also watch out for my body and have me back off when I want to push myself too far. Denise is also a trainer that I worked with for over a year and a half, and I have nothing but praise for her as well!
I love this place and the trainers! Its small and intimate and easy to do for 20 minutes twice a week. I have done slow burn resistance exercise in the past and its when Ive had the best results! The trainers are very encouraging a d make sure your form is correct so you dont injure yourself
BEST workout place in town! Mitzi and Denise are amazing trainers! My strength has increased immensely. It is a different but highly effective exercise in just 20 minutes! Try it out. You will not be disappointed.

I have been working out at the Perfect Workout with my amazing trainer Mitzi for 9 months. My overall strength has improved dramatically especially on the left side of my body that was injured years ago. I highly recommend this practice that takes little time yet creates great results!
Ive been training at the Carlsbad Perfect Workout for 8 months now. As a 50+ year old woman, my original goals were to feel stronger and to not get injured. Ive had joint issues so Im protective of my health and I dont do risky activities, in fact, I had stopped snow skiing many years ago for fear of injury because I just didnt feel strong enough. A few weeks ago, I went snow skiing! I felt a little nervous, but I felt strong and on the slopes I really enjoyed doing something I thought Id never be able to do again!! THANKS MITZI and THE PERFECT WORKOUT for helping me get stronger!!
The Perfect Workout is fantastic! Im in the best shape of my life thanks to The Perfect Workout and my trainer, DJ. Its still amazing to me how much we can get done in a short amount of focused time. And DJ does an amazing job listening to whats bothering me (usually my knees) and adjusting the workout so Im safe and still completely engaging all the muscle groups that need engagement. I cant imagine not doing The Perfect Workout.
I was 235lb 4 months ago, now Im down to 183 and feel better than I have in a long time. I have the training and nutrition coaching I received from the trainers at The Perfect Workout to thank for my transformation. Not only have I lost the weight but I have dealt with many injuries that are now healing because of how easy it is on my joints. Im definitely going to continue training here.
It really IS the perfect workout! If youre thinking you cant possibly get a complete body workout in 20 minutes, I challenge you to go to the nearest location and ask them to put you through a workout. You will be amazed, impressed and very fatigued no matter how great a shape you are in. My trainer Mitzi is the best. She carefully trains, encourages and challenges you every step of the way. Its never an easy workout, but its totally worth it AND it took only about 20 minutes to complete!
I love The Perfect Workout, and here’s why: the staff, the environment, and the results! I have been going on a weekly basis for about 4 months. Almost immediately after signing up on line and scheduling my first workout I received a call from my new trainer Mitzy. She was so friendly and welcoming! I told her what my goals were and she was eager to help me reach them. When I arrived at the studio I was greeted by several staff members, all of whom are super-friendly. The gym is so different from other gyms - no mirrors, no TVs, no music. Nothing to distract me from focusing on why I was there. And I never have to go it alone because every workout is with a trainer. Mine has been wonderful! Mitzy keeps track of my workouts, sets up the machines for me and applies just the right amount of weights. She pays meticulous attention to my form and knows how to push me to my physical weight limits without overdoing it. I have special considerations for my back, and she has worked carefully with me to make sure no exercises cause any discomfort or harm. My results have been surprising for only going once a week (instead of the suggested twice weekly). I really wanted to develop increased strength for the health of my bones. And my strength has definitely increased - the steady increase in weights on the machines each week is my proof!
This is SUCH a good workout for anyone!! It doesn’t matter your age, weight, or physical strength, this place can help you get in shape, gain muscle, and loose weight ! O and did I mention it’s only 30 minutes twice a week ?!!! Love this place and the friendly staff so much ! Mitzi and Denise are my go to girls, but anyone there is awesome ! Definitely worth giving this place a shot, you won’t be disappointed !
Really good affective workouts. The trainers are caring, effective, and patient with each and every client. Amazing what 20 minutes do!
Works great, I have a connective tissue disorder called Ehlers-Danlos so repetitive workout poses a moderate risk. About 6 months into training i have visible muscle mass and no more annoying dislocations or subluxations, keen to keep going at it for the time being.-AB
